A platform that actually works in the real world

PurchasePlus is a strong choice for organisations that want to professionalise procurement without creating unnecessary bureaucracy. It’s especially well suited to multi-site hospitality groups looking to gain control, visibility, and efficiency across purchasing and invoicing. It has the best UX of any procurement platform I've ever used.

Pros:

PurchasePlus genuinely understands how procurement works in the real world, particularly in hospitality. The platform handles catalogues, purchasing, approvals, and invoicing in a way that actually reflects how teams operate on the ground, not how someone thinks they should operate. The catalogue and supplier integrations are a standout. Once set up properly, it removes a huge amount of manual effort and friction for both buyers and suppliers. The approval workflows are flexible without being overly complex, and invoice processing is a big time-saver compared to traditional manual processes. Another strength is the team behind the product. Support is lightening fast, pragmatic, and focused on solving the issue rather than ticking a box.

Cons:

Because the platform is powerful and configurable, there can be a learning curve early on, particularly for teams new to structured procurement systems. Like any platform operating at scale, supplier onboarding and data quality require some upfront effort to get the most value. That said, once implemented properly, the operational benefits far outweigh the initial setup work.

I like the user friendly interface, and streamlines and eliminates manual work.

Cons:

There is no direct contact for support, that is not for entry level user. Sometimes feels like that, I know more than the random support person that I\`ll be assign to.

New P+ Platform - Not as good as Legacy P+

I don't really use New P+ Platform as I find it really backward compared to legacy P+. Really satisfied with Legacy P+, just few errors I find every now and then which I raise it support team and they help to get it fixed.

Pros:

Definitely like the Legacy P+ more than the new platform - There's a lot features I can do easily in Legacy P+ then the new platform.

Cons:

New Purchase plus platform is not really as good as Legacy purchase plus. Can't multi select invoices and Export them. Exported Invoices doesn't show exported by date - If I want to locate Invoice and see which day I exported it, it has long process to click in to invoice. It shows record of Invoice exported by date & time but doesn't show which Invoice & supplier, I have to go in each exported document to see which invoice belongs to which supplier. While all of this is just 2x clicks away in Legacy purchase, I find new platform is really working backward in this. Splitting Journal Entries line - New platform, I don't really know how to split the Invoice by line items everything's complicated. Legacy P+ its pretty straight forward and easy to do. Sometimes P+ don't even read Invoices properly and import's Invoice in dashboard without any JE (I've raised this more then 3-4 times to support team).

This is the best platform for businesses needing a smart, efficient and cost effective solution. The planned updates will only make it better and it is exciting to see it evolve. They are also really nice and easy to talk to people.

Pros:

This platform is incredibly easy to use, super clean design that makes onboarding seamless. New team members pick it up quickly, saving us valuable time. We are all working with a competitive marketplace and this systems ensures we get the best pricing, which is extremely important for a Procurement department as ours. Then add the real-time data access lets us make fast, informed decisions, from a daily operations point of view or for strategic planning!

Cons:

I love the new UX so much that it gets a little hard going back to the Legacy UX for some tasks but I know we are expecting to get it on the new UX this year (2025). Reporting works well but it would be awesome to have interactive dashboards so the insights are more accessible at one glance. We would love to see a more advanced budgeting module with forecasting tools as well.

Ease of access. AI integration is great. Although still improving, but the improvements are visible daily :)

Cons:

There should be some sort of guide in the home page, that helps us train new staff. The guide should have search engine for FAQs where they can search and get the answer. Secondly, there should be an option to sort and select a number of invoices and download them by one click. that should help with back up when making payments.

Its been good but I didn't appreciate when you removed the automatic attaching feature to the legacy version, so I had to individually attach every invoice for a long time, other than that it is a very good service for what it is

Quick response times. I like the new pplus features such as the better reports and report templates.

Cons:

I don't like how I can't separate between operationally approved and not operationally approved in the new pplus. You can do it in the legacy version but for some reason it isn't an option in the new pplus which is a very important feature for me to be able to have

New P+ vs Legacy P+

I like the new purchase plus version and support moving to the new one; however, it would be great to maintain a similar function that existed previously in the Legacy version rather than removing it.

The legacy purchase plus allow us to do a separation of tasks in our accounting process, allowing us to maintain control and accuracy in recording financial transactions.

Cons:

The new purchase plus does not allow us to maintain a similar separation of tasks in our accounting process. We normally separate the approver role and the accountant role. The legacy purchase plus allow us to edit the account code, reference, and invoice number for all reconciled invoices to fit with our Accounting System (SUN System). However, the new version does not allow us to maintain a similar separation of tasks, allowing only the approver to edit invoices.
