Switched to it from Melio. We love that the most basic features are free and we really don't need to upgrade at all. We also love that it's super easy to use and secure (we can send payment links to our vendors/subcontractors to request their preferred payment methods and we never have to worry about transposing any numbers etc). Cons: Downside is that we are an accounting firm using it for our clients AND our own practice and there is no way to allow our firm members to see ONLY your client's Nickel profile and not our firm's Nickel profile as well (so, all our independent contractors can see how much we pay eachother). Other downside is that Nickel USE TO advertise that it was for the construction industry and USE TO provide a service where it would take care of lien waivers for you. They have since stopped doing that - and that really really sucks for us. Reasons for choosing Nickel At the time, it was construction specific. And because it was free.
