First season with Checklick

Overall for our first time with checklick it has been a great tool for registration & integration with the CANSail lists. We are happy to be using it.

Pros:

Very prompt customer support when we need it. Has all the features that we need & are looking for. Seems to more or less take care of itself once it is up and running.

Cons:

The storefront ends up looking really long. I would love if it was sectioned off to avoid scrolling forever.

Being able to archive something so you can simply make it “active” when needed.

Cons:

I need to learn how to delete unwanted/old products from archives

Reasons for switching to Checklick

Had many issues getting payments from H2O to our bank. Refunds and discounts were a nightmare and took months to process

A start, but need a lot of improvement.

I got a hang of producing reports, and entering details and tags after obtaining some support by email and phone (will normally require a day of waiting for a reply, though helpful). My main concern is that we work with summer staff that is often new every year. That means that training starts from scratch every year.

Elaborate data base to offer your products, whether good, services, or membership.

Cons:

Very cumbersome, non-intuitive platform. It takes much time to get the hang of the program. If the user interface has a clear help section, that would help a lot. At the moment it is still sketchy.

One of the most significant strengths of our Checklick experience has been the outstanding support provided by our account manager and team. Their responsiveness has been exceptional, questions are answered quickly, guidance is clear, and assistance with setup and troubleshooting has been consistently proactive. This level of support has made the transition smoother for our organization.

Cons:

We know it can be difficult to tailor the Checklists and attendance sheets to fit the way our organization operates. The Checklick Team continues to offer helpful workarounds within the capabilities of their platform.

Pros:

This is our first year using Checklick for our sailing school registrations. The customer service has been great - answering my many questions, helping with set up and teaching me how to use the program. Checklick has been easy to use by myself and the customers. It has made my job so much easier and streamlined our systems.

Cons:

I had a few problems with the Stripe payment set up because they used different language than most banks that I have dealt with in terms of account number, institution and branch number but once we got that sorted out all has been well.

The team at Checklick is always very responsive and have a positive and helpful attitude when small issues arrive. It is very easy to set up from an admin perspective and makes the reporting to Ontario Sailing seemless.

Easy for users to understand. Central location for transaction history and evaluations.

Cons:

It would be helpful to have the date of the program inside the "thanks for registering" email, instead of soley as an attachment in the form of a receipt. Parents often forget which session they registered - but they don't open the email attchment. Would love to see a maximum participation age as an option for programs. I know the instructors would love to see an action where they could download all participant certificates and achievment checklists for all the participants who received their level in a session - rather than individually. I guess these really are not cons, but feature improvement requests. Would love if a second/different email could be added to the receipts. Some of our programs this year have become oversubscribed.

Checklick was developed closely with Sail Canada so it works very well for our participation system.

Cons:

At first it wasn't as userfriendly as it is now, and that's been a bit of a hangover
