PC or MAC is doesn't matter. Collaboration now if huge. Working remote is much easier vs sharing a license key. #### Cons Some features were missing at first. Not having an excess to not look at takeoff remotely. We were new to ZZ Takeoff and four of us had to learn at the same time. #### Cons Not being able to use the same takeoff for wall heights. For construction estimating, being able to quickly work through plans, quantify materials, and keep takeoffs organized is the biggest advantage. There is very little friction between opening a set of drawings and actually getting productive work done. #### Cons There isn’t much I dislike about it so far. Like any developing platform, there are a few small areas that could be refined over time, but nothing that has negatively affected my workflow or overall experience. #### Reasons for switching to zzTakeoff We switched from STACK primarily because zzTakeoff felt more streamlined for the way we actually estimate. It lets us move through plans quickly, get quantities out efficiently, and spend less time managing the software itself. Having the ability to use my templates and parts list from another program really helps speed up our setup. Having the ability to have multiply estimators work together on one project is revolutionary, we now have just one report for a project instead of turning in multiply reports and having to explain them. No more missing sections. Having the ability to have AI (Claude) help with writing or building templates and takeoff tools is amazing. #### Cons I am nervous about the web-based software’s as internet can sometimes go out in our location. Would love to have the ability to work offline if needed. #### Reasons for choosing zzTakeoff Cost, and ease of use. The ability to import our templates from PlanSwift.
