### About Thunderbit

Thunderbit is an AI-powered web scraping Chrome extension that extracts and organizes web content into spreadsheets with minimal input. It is designed for professionals in fields such as sales, operations, real estate, and marketing who need structured data without requiring technical expertise. It supports tasks such as lead generation, competitor monitoring, price tracking, and market research.

The extension allows data scraping using natural language commands instead of CSS selectors. Users can specify column names and data types in plain English. It supports data extraction from websites, PDFs, images, and documents through a single interface. Subpage scraping capabilities enable the tool to visit linked pages and append additional information to existing tables. Pre-built templates simplify data extraction from platforms such as Amazon, LinkedIn, Zillow, TikTok, and Google Maps. Built-in AI functions process data during extraction by summarizing, categorizing, translating, formatting, and performing calculations.

Thunderbit operates as a Chrome browser extension and offers multiple export options. Scraped data can be transferred to applications such as Google Sheets, Airtabl...

e, and Notion using copy-paste functionality. Specialized features include contact information scraping, email list building, and lead data enrichment to support business development needs.

Overall, this product has significantly improved collaboration, accountability, and transparency within our organization. the ease of onboarding and strong integration ecosystem makes it a natural fit for teams seeking to streamline operations and reduce inefficiencies. While the pricing may be a barrier for smaller companies, the productivity gains and scalability justify the investment for mid-sized and larger enterprises, The biggest wins are faster decision-making, improved visibility into project progress, and better alignment across departments. If the vendor continue to refine the mobile ap and expand customization options, this solution could easily become the market leader in its category.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The platform excels in ease of onboarding, offering tutorials and a guided setup that makes adoption smooth even for teams with limited technical expertise the user interface is modern and intuitive, with menus and dashboards logically arranged so that even complex features are easy to locate. One of the strongest aspects is the feature depth, which includes workflow automation, advanced analytics, and customizable reporting that empower managers to track performance in real time. The integration ecosystem is another highlight, connecting seamlessly with widely used tools like Slack, Google workspace, and CRM systems, which reduce duplication of effort and keeps all data synchronized. Finally, the customer support team deserves praise for being responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive, often resolving issues faster than expected.

#### Cons

Despite its strengths, there are areas where the product could improve. The mobile app limitations are noticeable, as the mobile version lacks several advanced features available on desktop, which can frustrate users who rely on remote access. The customization gaps in reporting dashboard and workflow templates means that niche industries may struggle to tailor the system to their exact needs. while the platform is generally user-friendly, the learning curve for advanced features is steep, requiring training of trial-and-error before teams can fully leverage its potential.

### Easy AI web scraping, but credits are pricey

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 1/5
- Customer support: 2/5
- Functionality: 2/5

#### Pros

Really easy to use, even without any technical background. The AI does the heavy lifting for web data extraction - I can pull structured data from websites in a couple of clicks and export it right away. Big time saver for a small business owner.

#### Cons

The free plan credits run out fast and the paid plans get expensive if you scrape regularly. Pricing is the main downside for a small business.

### Ideal for keeping product details fresh

- Company size: 2-10 employees
- Product usage: Used weekly for less than 6 months

We turn to Thunderbit whenever we need to understand what people are genuinely saying on sites that don’t offer a convenient API. Most often, that means pulling insights from Reddit discussions and G2 reviews. It’s effectively replaced the custom scraping scripts we used to maintain for this kind of research.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The core value is simple: describe the fields you need in plain language, and Thunderbit figures out how to extract them. What really makes it useful for research, rather than just building lists, is subpage scraping—following each post into its comments is often where the most valuable insight sits. It can also summarise, categorise, and reformat data during extraction, which removes a separate cleanup step. From there, results can be sent straight to Google Sheets, Airtable, or Notion, keeping the data inside the tools where the rest of the work happens.

#### Cons

The template library is geared mostly toward ecommerce, so other use cases often require setting things up from scratch. Credit usage can also be difficult to predict when AI features are doing more of the work, and any fields the system infers are worth verifying against the original source. One other friction point is pricing: the tiers aren’t publicly listed, so you need to create an account before you can properly estimate which plan you’ll need. It’s minor, but more annoying than it sounds.

### Thunderbit , my first use

- Overall rating: 4/5
- Reviewer: Nael B.
- Verified reviewer: Yes
- Industry: Computer Software
- Company size: Self-Employed
- Product usage: Used weekly for free trial
- Reviewed: August 2026

It's a little expensive but worth the money on the whole. For quick jobs like my Gmail scrape, the free tier is enough to test, but heavier or recurring scrapes will burn credits faster, so you need to watch usage. Still, the time saved versus doing it manually made it feel fair for what I got.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

It's indeed very easy to use. It took me like 1 or 2 minutes to understand how this extension thing works, probably because I've rarely used extensions before. But after figuring out how the UI works, I think I just did a few clickss, and then the app takes over from there and in the end I got clean tables. I would give a 10 for the simplicity of Thunderbit.

#### Cons

I think they should have a function like a workflow replication function, so that I can just click a button to restart a task again and again. It could be annoying.

### I've used it for web scrapping and it's awesome tool

- Product usage: Used weekly for free trial

It has been a very practical tool. I mainly use it to collect info from webpages, especially contact details like emails, and it saves me a lot of time in building or learning to use scrapers.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I like is that its easy to get started. The templates are pertty handy, and the AI analysis features simplify the process when I don't need to decide how to set up. I also like that it works directly as a Chrome extension, so I can open it on a page and start using it without installing a separate desktop app.

#### Cons

The pricing feels a little high for my current needs. I understand the value of the tool, but a more affordable plan would make it easier for smaller or occasional users.

### Easy to Use

I use Thunderbit for two major purposes: 1. To compile content structure, and 2. To compile email contacts of site admin we intend to partner with.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Easy to use. With just few clicks and the right fields entered, the tool returns exportable data in few seconds.

#### Cons

For my use case, it has been okay, so far. However, the developer should consider adding a feature that allows compilation of scraped data from different web pages for one-click export.

### Good for keeping product data up to date

I used Thunderbit to revisit a list of product pages and check whether the prices, availability, and URLs had changed. It was useful for spotting products that were no longer available or had different information from the previous file

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I could reuse the same setup instead of starting over each time. This worked well for regular catalog checks and made it easier to compare the new export with older data

#### Cons

If the website changes its layout, some fields may need to be set up again. It does not happen often but it can affect repeated tasks

### Smart content extractor

Smooth to use as it is AI powered. Nicely integrated into Chrome as extensions so it works seamlessly.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I like the blended usage of AI where it simply suggests what content to be extracted and creates structure for it. You have possibility to get it in form of JSON or Excel so you can post process. I find it nice to pair with Wachete tool where the page is being monitored regularly for changes and after detected and notified via email, you simply scrape it with Thunderbit.

#### Cons

limited option for free version but it is understandable as somebody has to pay for the AI models and servers.

### Good for research on sites nobody built an API for

- Overall rating: 4/5
- Reviewer: Ricardo B.
- Industry: Computer Software
- Company size: 2-10 employees
- Product usage: Used monthly for less than 6 months
- Reviewed: August 2026
- Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review.

We reach for Thunderbit whenever the research question is "what are people actually saying", and the answer lives on a site nobody has built a nice API for. In practice that means Reddit threads and G2 review pages. It has replaced what used to be a maintained scraping script for that job.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Describing the columns you want in plain language and having it find them is the whole product, and it works. Subpage scraping is what makes it useful for research rather than list-building, since following each post into its comments is where the actual signal is. The AI reformatting during extraction, summarise and categorise as it goes, removes a post-processing pass. Exports to Google Sheets, Airtable and Notion, so the data lands where the work happens.

#### Cons

Templates lean towards commerce sites, so anything else is a manual setup each time. Credits are hard to forecast on AI-heavy runs. Inferred fields need checking against the source text. And the pricing tiers aren't published, so you have to sign up before you can size a plan, which is a small thing that annoyed me more than it should.
