Terial is more than a CRM, they are a PARTNER!

Our Service Manager no longer spends countless hours on reporting and billing — Terial shaved at least half the time spent on these tasks. Visibility into Production Daily Reports has been a game changer. Opportunity tracking is one of the biggest wins: being able to track all opportunities and turn them into service/production work right from the system is huge. We have become more efficient across the board.

Pros:

After testing several CRMs built specifically for commercial roofing contractors, we ultimately went with Terial and we couldn't be happier with that decision. With Terial, we're actually using every single module because everything just flows together so naturally. From the start, their platform stood out for being incredibly easy to use, and their vision for simplifying every part of a contractor's operations is impressive. It's helped us stay focused on running and growing our business instead of juggling spreadsheets and scattered information from estimating all the way through invoicing. When the Terial team told us implementation would take just two days and that we'd be fully operational by the end of the second day, we honestly didn't believe it — but sure enough, they delivered. Even our field techs were genuinely excited to start using it.

Cons:

As a newer platform, some features we'd like to see are still on the roadmap — but the team is very transparent about what's coming and when, which makes it easy to plan around. And honestly, the only thing we can say they owe us is dinner.

One of the main reasons why we chose Terial as a team was the commitment from the Terial team in continuing to improve the platform. As much as we were a little hesitant in the beginning, it truly has been the best choice we have made in the past year. We are now more efficient. Our field crews love the feasibility, and truly the Terial team is top-notch. They take everything very personally. They listen to us, and any chance they get to make improvements based on the feedback, they do it at a heartbeat while making sure that it also benefits other clients across the platform. Their product update is consistent as well, so all in all, best platform out there for commercial roofing contractors.

We weren't getting the work flow all the way through closing our project, and we were doing a lot of other tasks outside of the system. We're now ~90% done within Terial.

Exceptionally Easy to Use and Navigate

Easy to create tickets, the CRM is incredibly easy to follow, researching properties and histories is a breeze, and support is incredibly helpful. Terial has made our day-to-day service operations noticeably more organized and efficient. The platform is very user-friendly and intuitive, which makes onboarding and navigating the system simple even for newer team members. One of the biggest advantages for our team has been how accessible and centralized everything is. Being able to quickly pull property history, previous work orders, photos, and communication records saves a significant amount of time and helps keep everyone on the same page. The system has helped improve our workflow, communication, and overall response times to clients. Overall, it has been a reliable and valuable tool for managing our service operations more effectively.

Pros:

It is an easy to use program. Even if you don’t know exactly how to do something, the platform is incredibly intuitive and easy to navigate. It’s very user-friendly, which makes learning new features or finding information quick and stress-free. One of the biggest positives for us has been how responsive and helpful their support team is. Anytime we’ve had questions or needed assistance, they’ve reached out quickly and provided clear solutions.

Cons:

One area that could definitely be improved is the ability to view and manage multiple opportunity statuses at the same time. Currently, we can only select and view one opportunity status at a time, which makes it difficult to get a full-picture overview of all active opportunities on a single screen. Having the option to filter or display multiple statuses simultaneously would greatly improve visibility, organization, and overall workflow efficiency- especially when managing a high volume of opportunities daily. It would make tracking progress and prioritizing tasks much more streamlined for users.

Reasons for switching to Terial

Jobba was all the things Terial is not. Our experience with Jobba ultimately led us to look for a more reliable and organized solution for our service operations. While the platform had potential, we consistently ran into issues with reliability, data accuracy, and overall system performance. We experienced multiple situations where information, history, or data was lost or difficult to recover, which created major operational challenges and cost our company valuable time and money. The system was often difficult to navigate efficiently, and simple day-to-day tasks became more time-consuming than they should have been. Visibility into opportunities, service history, and workflow tracking was also limited, making it harder for our team to stay organized and proactive. Compared to the platform we use now, the difference in usability, support responsiveness, and overall operational efficiency has been significant. Ultimately, we made the switch because we needed a system we could trust to reliably manage our data, improve workflow visibility, and support the pace of our day-to-day service operations.

Terial has streamlined communication between our field crews and office staff. Photo timelines and daily reports can be easily viewed by those in the office to answer customer questions and get a sense of project completion for billing. Safety checklists ensure safety is in place on all job sites. Invoicing is efficient — just a simple pricing review and download. The platform also serves as a common space to manage jobs: upload documents, proposals, COIs, photos, and warranties, all accessible even after the job is complete.

Pros:

Terial was clearly designed with the consumer in mind — both the roofing contractor and their customer. Easy to use on the back end, easy to interpret on the front end. Constantly evolving as they solicit feedback and seek to create a seamless, one-stop-shop for contractors. Outstanding customer service: quick response time, effective communication, problem-solving on the spot.

Cons:

Nothing specific to dislike — there are some features still in-progress that we're eagerly awaiting, but we trust the team to continue delivering.

Pros:

The collaborative team behind the platform is by far the best feature. As we grow into the software, having a partner who listens to our ideas and actively works to implement them into the software is invaluable. We have attempted to onboard with a competitor that we never ended up going live with — the night-and-day difference in experience we've received from the Terial team is incredible. Our team is greatly enjoying the CRM functions, and the ease of use for our production crews and detail to keep our service team on track are close seconds.

Cons:

We are eager for the reporting customizations that are to come, as they are somewhat limited at this time.

Outstanding Support, Rapid Updates

10/10 no question. I know they are committed to further refining the platform — including improving address-level granularity so we can track service calls at a unit level. The responsiveness of the team and pace of improvements gives us confidence in the platform's trajectory. My entire company is now running off one platform for timeclock, project management, services, proposals, and billing so we are thrilled.

Pros:

The support and communication is truly incredible. Not only do they respond almost instantly, but you can tell they've put time and thought into every response. They are also very quick with small software request changes and are upfront about what's in the development pipeline. Also the new proposal function is awesome. Given how quickly they created it, we’ve been so impressed and can’t wait to see version 2.0

Cons:

At this point not a whole lot. The ability to customize the photos given to clients can be a little frustrating but it’s something they are working on and it’s adjustable on our end.

We chose Terial because it was without a doubt the easiest to implement and use and I felt immense confidence that our teams would work well together and they would listen to our needs.

Acculynx is primarily residential without a geomapping and service function. We are a commercial contractor with a service division so it wasn’t a good fit.

Pros:

I was very impressed with the onboarding process Terial has. They spent a lot of time going over their product with us before we made the decision to use their platform. Once that happened, they came to our office and gave in person training. Training sessions were organized based on who and how Terial would be utilized. Their customer services is excellent. They are quick to respond and they are very open to feedback and assisting with solutions whether it is something that is already available or if it could be implemented in the future. The product overall is very intuitive so it was a fairly easy transition for our field workers.

Cons:

There are some processes that seem to take up a little more time to complete than our previous software system. We also have some complex projects that have subcontracts/changes that occur and as of right now, Terial is not equipped to allow us to create these changes within the project like we need it to.

There was a lack of integration between our mainline and service departments. With Terial, we were able to have access in one location and utilize the CRM component to link opportunities between the two.

Since this is a relatively new software, some features were still in development when we adopted it. What could have been a negative quickly became a positive — we were able to collaborate directly with the Terial team, contributing feedback that helped tailor the platform.

Pros:

Very easy and straightforward. Takes out a lot of steps that I would typically have to do manually and therefore saves me lots of time! Everything is well explained and whenever I have had an issue, the Terial team gets back to me in a very timely manner.

Cons:

So far so good! It would be easier if a company could be manually changed in a ticket if the person who creates the tickets enters the property under the wrong company. That way we wouldn't have to recreate the entire ticket. Other than that, everything works great.
