### About SEOTesting

SEOTesting is an SEO testing and reporting platform that enables SEOs to run structured experiments, analyze Google Search Console and Google Analytics data, and prove the real impact of their SEO and AI search efforts.
It is designed for SEO agencies, in-house teams, and independent consultants who require an evidence-based workflow for validating hypotheses, supporting recommendations, and monitoring site-level performance.

The platform centralizes Google Search Console and Google Analytics data and converts it into testable configurations, historical comparisons, and actionable insights. This saves hours of time by eliminating spreadsheets and manual reporting, so that SEOs can focus on strategy, content, and experimentation.

Use it to understand how specific updates influence search impressions, clicks, rankings, and engagement metrics.

AI-powered summaries automatically analyze performance data and generate clear, concise explanations across SEO tests, content groups, and the Monthly SEO Report. They highlight trends, flag anomalies, and provide actionable takeaways, helping teams quickly see whether changes worked and produce stakeholder or client-ready insights.

SEOTesti...

ng also prepares SEOs for the evolving search landscape, as AI chatbots and LLM-based assistants increasingly influence what people click and trust. LLM Testing and LLM Traffic reporting show which pages earn clicks from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and other LLMs, the prompts likely behind that visibility, and how sessions reported in Google Analytics change after page updates. The AI SEO tools within SEOTesting help pages get chosen, cited, and trusted by AI search. The Query Fan-Out Generator turns a topic into the questions a page should answer, the Content Evaluator scores how well a page covers them, and the Persona Page Evaluator checks whether a page serves each of your ICP personas. Content quality tools flag vague language, unsupported claims, unclear headings, and sections that would work better as lists or tables. Key capabilities include: - Time-based testing to compare performance before and after page-level or site-level updates. - SEO split testing using test and control URL groups to evaluate changes under more controlled conditions. - LLM testing and LLM Traffic reporting to measure AI-driven visits and see which pages earn clicks from AI chatbots. - AI SEO tools including the Query Fan-Out Generator, Content Evaluator, ICP Personas, Persona Page Evaluator, and content quality checks. - Reporting tools such as trend dashboards, AI-powered summaries, a Monthly SEO Report, annotations, forecasts, and reports for declining content, CTR opportunities, cannibalization, and quick wins. - Content grouping and change tracking to organize URLs by theme or structure and keep a clear record of changes and outcomes. - Website monitoring for changes to your own and competitors' XML sitemaps and your robots.txt file. - Rank tracking, daily email updates when Google Search Console data refreshes, and dashboards filtered by country, brand, and more. Agencies use SEOTesting to manage multiple clients, demonstrate ROI, and support recommendations with clear evidence. In-house teams rely on it for stakeholder buy-in, cross-team alignment, and understanding which optimizations truly make a difference. Everything is centralized to support collaborative SEO decisions and identify which initiatives merit further investment. Additional components include an API and MCP server for pulling data into internal tools and AI assistants, a Chrome extension that shows Google Search Console data and on-page SEO tips as you browse, and a Looker Studio connector for custom dashboards and client reporting. SEOTesting is a powerful alternative to using Google Search Console alone, providing a structured environment for SEO experiments and for interpreting performance across both traditional search and AI-driven discovery.

### No serious SEO should be without this in their kit.

It is brilliant - a really great dashboard to let you explore all the different data that you can pull from Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools and test your SEO theories. No serious SEO should be without this in their kit.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Being able to keep over 16 months of GSC data, with annotations, really helps seasonal analysis of search data over the years. But more than that the testing suite is brilliant - allowing you to test theories over several weeks to see if your changes have shifted the needle at all. All the different reports are a real timesaver.

#### Cons

The interface is looking a little dated now but there is a new refreshed look and feel being developed and the charts look fantastic.

### A big fan of SEOTesting

Aside from GSC, I use SEOTesting the most. You can create a variety of tests here - single, group, split, LLM, and URL switch for migrations. There is also a "winners and losers" section in the report where you can see how queries and pages are performing over time. They have also recently launched LLM traffic pages in the report section where you can see the pages being crawled by LLMs. This is a huge plus because you don't need to pay for another overpriced LLM tracker. Another great feature is data retention; if you connect your GSC today, they store the data so you can check back 2 years later (unlike GSC's 16-month limit). The best part is the customer service. Nick is very patient and helpful; if you come across any problem, he replies fast so you don't have to wait long. With pricing starting at only $50/month, it is way more cost-effective than other tools. Overall, a 10/10 tool.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The Content Groups feature is my favourite. I manage a site with over 30 page types, so this is super helpful for me. Whenever there's a Google update, I can quickly check which page types dropped and plan what to do next.

#### Cons

To be honest, I haven't found anything to dislike yet. It works exactly as I need it to. The team is constantly rolling out new updates, so any small gaps in features are usually filled very quickly.

### The most undervalued tool on the market

As a customer for over four years, I have seen the tool evolve over time and integrate features that are extremely relevant to my daily needs. Customer service is always available and takes our feedback into account when improving the tool. More generally, SEOTesting's ROI is unbeatable on the market. I have recommended it to many SEOs :)

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The all-in-one aspect and time savings for quickly identifying pain points. My two “banger” reports: Content Decay & Striking Distance Keywords

#### Cons

No need for negative points. If I had to mention one, I would say the accessibility of features, which are sometimes hidden in the tool.

### Perfect to automate tracking before/after SEO changes.

- Overall rating: 5/5
- Reviewer: Calvin C.
- Verified reviewer: Yes
- Industry: Consumer Goods
- Company size: 10000+ employees
- Product usage: Used weekly for less than 6 months
- Reviewed: July 2026

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

It's a really simple way to build out reporting that's easy to follow up with and allows us to see the impact of changes we make to our pages. It overlays familiar GSC data with annotations and tracking with useful filtration options. We've had a great support rep who made the setup easy. Also really like the AI summary that makes it easy to understand the impact of tracked changes.

#### Cons

Not necessarily a con, but for transparency, it just uses your reporting that's available for free through other platforms like GSC and GA4. For us it's helpful because we don't have time to manually review before and after data for each change we make to the site.

### Solid product, great help to my content & data teams!

Very solid tool! Does exactly what I need it to do and saves our team time and effort. Test numbers are legit, customer service has historically been quick and helpful.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Tremendously easy to use. I actually slightly prefer the older design but the new one works and doesn't overcomplicate anything. My team primarily uses the test tracking features; I love how straightforward it is to use and that you can backdate tests. It's a really effective way to not have your team's data analysts bogged down by GSC data pulls.

#### Cons

My one picky dislike is when typing in tags, if you select one of the dropdown options after typing in some letters, the letters you typed don't get automatically deleted lol. This has led to some annoying tag cleanups. Other than that, I don't really use other features. Rank Tracking also pulls from GSC data, but Rank on GSC is nearly useless in terms of actionability. I haven't used any AI features either, they don't interest our team.

### Tools for finding hidden keyword wins and reliable group testing

- Company size: 2-10 employees
- Product usage: Used weekly for more than 2 years

SEOTesting has removed the guesswork from our optimization strategy. Instead of making changes and hoping for the best, we can now run clear tests on groups of content to see exactly what moves the needle. It saves me significant time by automating the discovery of "hidden" opportunities like finding keywords we rank for accidentally allowing me to focus on strategy rather than data digging.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I really like the "creative" data tools that surface insights you can't easily find in standard analytics. Specifically, the report that locates ranking keywords that are not mentioned on the website is a favorite. it allows for quick, high-impact content updates. I also love the content group testing feature; being able to test changes across a whole category of pages gives us much more reliable data than testing single URLs.

#### Cons

The tool is hyper-focused on Google Search Console data. This is great for accuracy, but it means you cannot use it for competitor analysis or backlink tracking. It is best used as a companion to a larger "all-in-one" suite (like Ahrefs or Semrush) rather than a complete replacement for one.

### A must-have for anyone working in SEO

My experience with SEOTesting has been nothing but positive. It has allowed us to track a wide range of changes and gauge the impact of those changes. Whenever we have had a question the support team has always replied quickly. The tool is also continuously improving with more features being added all the time.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

SEOTesting gives us clarity on what changes do and don't work for us, taking away any guess work and instead allowing us to focus on the things that make a difference. It is easy to setup and use, and we now use it daily to either create a new test or check the results of ongoing tests.

#### Cons

There are no major downsides of SEOTesting based on my experience using the tool. For the cost I think it is a must-have for anyone working in SEO.

#### Vendor response

We’re really pleased to hear that SEOTesting has become part of your daily workflow and is helping remove the guesswork around which SEO changes truly make an impact - that’s exactly why we built it! Really appreciate you highlighting the responsiveness of our support team and the continuous improvements - we’re always busily working on new features to make testing and analysis even easier. Thanks again for the feedback and for recommending SEOTesting.

### Great GSC data warehouse

- Overall rating: 5/5

- Company size: 51-200 employees
- Product usage: Used weekly for more than 2 years
- Reviewed: July 2026

I've been using it for 3+ years now. It's useful to look behind to see how Google search traffic evolved. Or better said, how much less traffic is Google sending now compared to a couple years back. Still, being able to apply granular filters I can identify the real causes as well.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The extra filtering you can do compared to GSC plus the fact that it acts like a data warehouse for GSC data (Google only keeps the last 16 months).

#### Cons

I don't have anything to say here. Since it's a true improvement to GSC that is what matters for me. I haven't through or got to a point where I could have said something is missing or not working the way I'd want it.

I love that SEOTesting saves me a lot of time with monitoring SEO changes, finding opportunities for growth and doing my monthly reports. I also love their newest MCP server.

Don't really have anything to add. Everything I've tried so far has worked as expected so I can't find any cons at the moment.

### Effortless SEO A/B Testing with Seamless Google Integration

My overall experience with SEOTesting has been great. From setting everything up to starting my first test was a breeze. There's a lot that you can do with this program, but it's intuitive enough to dive in without much prior training. Their support team is fantastic, so if you end up needing help you're in good hands!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

SEOTesting is one of the easiest ways to implement A/B testing on a website - specifically for SEO. I love how it easily integrates with Google Search Console to pull in your website data before and after a test. It's simple to create notes on website changes, create group tests, and even track AI traffic coming to your site! The support team is fantastic as well.

#### Cons

At first, the pricing was a bit expensive for multiple websites but I spoke with Vicky and she was able to create a more simplified pricing model that better fit my agency's needs. Past that, the platform is really great.
