Dont have to be even near the tv. I can manage even different time showing and switch beteween video and photos. Cons: Has no offline version. Means no internet no display. Regarding the 'offline version' you mentioned, Luna Screens does support offline playback now. Once the screen has a connection at startup it will download your media, the content is saved to a local cache and will play uninterrupted if the internet drops. You’ll even see a 'downloaded' note next to your content on the screen preview dashboard to confirm it’s ready for offline use. Cons: I wish there were more features available, like the ability to have slides show at a specific time each day, but the simplicity is part of what makes it great.
