It is suitable for various settings, including team meetings, client calls, strategy sessions, lectures, interviews, and brainstorming sessions. The platform helps users maintain organized and searchable records of discussions.

The application provides real-time transcription, converting speech to text instantly during meetings. It supports over thirty languages, such as English, Spanish, French, Mandarin, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Portuguese, and Arabic. Using AI summarization, it generates structured overviews, key points, and action items from meetings. An AI chat assistant allows users to interact with meeting notes, create follow-up emails or reports, and analyze insights from transcripts. Recordings and transcripts are stored in secure cloud storage with data protection measures, including HTTPS, TLS encryption in transit, and AES encryption at rest.

The platform is available on iOS and web, with a mobile-first design for professionals conducting meetings on the go. Meeting transcripts are fully searchable, and notes can be exported in PDF or TXT fo...

rmats. The application does not use recordings or transcripts to train AI models, and users can delete recordings directly within the platform.

Pros:

Notica helps me save a lot of time in meetings because it can record, transcribe, and summarize conversations automatically. The real-time transcription is useful when the discussion is fast or has many action points, since I do not need to take notes manually all the time. I also like that the summaries are structured clearly, with key points and follow-up tasks, so it is easier to review after the meeting. Another strong point is the integration with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Calendar, which makes the workflow more convenient.

Cons:

Overall the app works well, but there are still a few small areas that could be improved. Sometimes AI summaries can feel a bit generic and need a quick manual check to make sure all important context is captured correctly. In longer meetings, I would also like the transcript search and navigation to be even smoother. For first-time users, some features may take a little time to fully understand and use effectively.

Good experience with Notica

5

9/10 for me. It's a good, decent app that actually does what it says - captures notes, sums them up, and helps me act on them. Nothing flashy, just genuinely useful. It's earned a permanent spot in my workflow.

Pros:

What I love most is how Notica generates summaries and next actions for me. After a meeting I don't have to dig through my notes to remember what I'm supposed to do, it just hands me the key points and follow-ups. Saves me a real amount of time every week.

Cons:

Honestly not much to complain about. Once in a while it'll miss a word or two, usually when someone's talking fast. Not a big deal, but would be nice to see it get a bit sharper over time.

A reliable meeting note-taker that actually saves time

5

Overall it's been a really positive experience. Notica has become part of my daily workflow and I genuinely don't want to go back to manual note-taking. The few small issues I've had don't outweigh the time savings and the quality of the output. Their support team also responded quickly when I had a question about integrations, which is always a plus.

Functionality

Pros:

I've been using Notica for a few months now, mainly for recording online meetings and turning them into notes. The transcription accuracy is honestly impressive, even when my colleagues speak with different accents. What I like most is how it automatically summarizes long meetings into key points and action items - this saves me at least 2-3 hours per week of rewatching recordings. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, no steep learning curve. Sharing notes with teammates is straightforward, and the search function works well when I need to find something from an old meeting.

Cons:

The mobile app could use some improvements - it sometimes lags when loading longer recordings. I also wish there were more customization options for the summary templates, since different types of meetings (standup vs. client calls) really need different formats. Occasionally the speaker identification mixes up voices when two people sound similar, so I have to do a quick manual check.

Reasons for switching to Notica

I switched from Otter mainly because I needed better support for meetings that mix English and other languages - Otter struggled with that in my case. Notica handled multilingual conversations more accurately, which was a big deal for my team. The summaries also felt more actionable out of the box, with clearer action items rather than just a long transcript I had to dig through. Pricing was another factor - Notica offered better value for the features I actually use on a daily basis.

A lifesaver for my multi-accent remote team

5

Pretty solid, could be 9/10. Notica has genuinely changed how I work as a remote developer. Transcription handles my team's mix of accents surprisingly well, summaries save me hours every week, and the chat assistant makes finding old meeting context effortless. Easily one of the most useful tools in my stack.

Functionality

Pros:

As a remote dev on a team spread across Berlin, Bangalore, and São Paulo, accents were a nightmare for transcription tools — until Notica. It handles them all, nails technical terms like "Kubernetes" and "gRPC," and summarizes dense architecture discussions cleanly. The cross-timezone handoffs alone are worth it. I wake up to clear notes from meetings I missed. Genuinely wouldn't go back. This is where Notica earned my trust. My teammate in Bangalore talks fast, my colleague in São Paulo has a beautiful Portuguese-inflected English that other tools have completely mangled, and our tech lead in Berlin speaks excellent English but with enough German cadence that auto-captions on Zoom regularly give up on him. I was fully prepared for Notica to embarrass itself. It didn't. The transcription handles all of them surprisingly well. Not perfectly — nothing is perfect — but I'd say 90-95% accuracy across the board, which is genuinely impressive

Cons:

I'm satisfied with what Notica offers. However, speaker attribution can get confused when multiple people talk over each other in chaotic whiteboarding sessions, and AI-generated follow-up emails sometimes sound too corporate, so I usually end up rewriting them a bit.
