However, Jasper became too big and in the likely new bureaucracy it swallowed itself whole and no longer led the pack. Lighter teams of developers released competing products, and with the direct ear of the developers and their agile setup, they put out products far beyond the scope of Jasper's abilities. I was grandfathered onto an unlimited plan which I kept renewing even when not using as much, since the credits were pretty pricey. It was amazing to see the way content could be created and Jasper was initially innovating at a breakneck speed early on. #### Cons After Jasper got funding and expanded the team, innovation stopped. New features stopped being added. Jasper started struggling to produce full articles and was often repetitive. Quality slipped majorly. Then Jasper changed their pricing structure and reopened unlimited plans to everyone, leaving many early adopters who were grandfathered into unlimited plans feeling jaded. #### Reasons for choosing Jasper At the time they were the leading innovators in the AI field. I've tested a bunch of these generators and Jasper seems to be the most accurate in writing what I want it to. #### Cons Sometimes it takes a bunch of generations to get what I want, and it all counts against the word limit on your plan. Whether its a facebook ad or a blog post, I'm not stuck looking at a blank page. #### Cons The only con I have is the price. Not all of the content that is generated is usable. So the credits get used for words that are not adding value to my project. But from what I've seen they are working on ways to recover these credits in the future. Even with that said I think the value of what I receive outweighs the loss of a few credits. #### Reasons for switching to Jasper Copysmith is good but the options are limited by comparison. Copysmith is just getting started though so they may improve with time. I'll keep my eye on them. Copysmith gives you more credits for your money but the workflow is better with Conversion Ai. All commands can be written in natural language (e.g., “>write an introduction”. — Infrequent errors: The AI content creation products I've used have been quite bad for repeated sections, spelling / grammar mistakes, and factual inaccuracies (obviously). With Jasper, I find that these are incredibly rare. — Refunds for bad generations: Whenever Jasper writes something terrible, you can let the system know it did a bad job and get a full credit (i.e., word count) refund. #### Cons — Formatting issues: When copying and pasting a document from Jasper into a word processor, there are usually formatting errors. With Google Docs, all headings are bolded, while the bolding is removed from body text. Annoying, but easy enough to fix. — AI can't deal with photos: When you add a photo to the Jasper document editor, the AI writing feature starts bugging out—sentences won't logically follow, weird spellings, etc. #### Reasons for switching to Jasper Jasper's AI outputs are much better than Frase. Jasper is a fantastic AI that will produce insightful written material. After using this AI for a long time, Jasper is everything I've grown to expect. The long-form templates are equally as great, too. I produced three excellent 3,500- to 5,000-word ebooks in less than four hours using Jasper's long-form template. I simply started by asking Jasper to provide a list of questions for each topic, then I had Jasper write responses to the questions I kept in the ebooks. It was fast, productive, and the output was excellent. #### Cons There are no downsides to Jasper. The worst thing I can say about the app is that its add-on, Jasper Art, which sources artwork to accompany content, is mediocre at best. Our workflow need varies a bit from month to month, as it depends on client inflow and bottle neck'ing, where we at some months will "run out" of credits per our current plan, and at other months "have spare".Jasper.ai does offer options to "earn credits", but these are all one-timers, and the fee and need for credits if you jump up a package may be be 500% more than what we actually need, and the fee 500% more expensive than what our production value would cover.So it would be very practical to have a %-based top up function, or credit-based top-up function, so we could better adjust credit-usage per month. #### Reasons for choosing Jasper Because Jasper for now appears overall better developed, includes a good training package, has good support and appears to have good customer service and to technically be superior.
