The number one presentation software package

I've created innumerable presentations for clients big and small. In my many years of using the product and sending presentations to people all around the globe, I have never once had someone tell me they could not open a file or report any problems with their presentation. It takes some practice to truly master, but once you've spent quality time working with the software you can do some good stuff.

PROS

PowerPoint is a straightforward tool for making and showing presentations with an interface that is very much "what-you-see-is-what-you-get." It is also the dominant presentation software, meaning that you will probably never find a client or venue that will have problems with any presentation you created in PowerPoint. It is also rather versatile, allowing users to do far more that slide-based presentations. Users can create online slideshows, clickable infographics, and embed original graphics and videos.

CONS

Like all Microsoft products, PowerPoint has it's eccentricities. It could be more user-friendly, which is where some of the competing presentation apps excel. It is absolutely not good for creating original art or illustrations, even though many users seem to think so. If you want original graphics then you should be creating them in some other app (like Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and then importing them into PowerPoint.

Reason for choosing Microsoft PowerPoint

The near-universal accessibility of PowerPoint makes it very easy to create presentations that anyone can watch. You don't want a client to have any trouble viewing or using the product, and PowerPoint is great for that.

My review after using PowerPoint

The advantages and disadvantages of PowerPoint introductions demonstrate that with watchful arranging, any account can be improved for the individuals who are partaking in the occasion. Without that arranging, the introduction may accomplish more damage than anything else to the account.

PROS

1. It is anything but difficult to download and utilize for all intents and purposes anyplace. PowerPoint is viewed as a standard item in numerous expert settings. This enables you to take your client permit for all intents and purposes anyplace to most likely make the designs required for your introduction. It is so expected, truth be told, that you may make a negative early introduction in the event that you don't have a PowerPoint introduction to offer. 2. It can make an introduction all the more intriguing. Notwithstanding intriguing introductions can become long and exhausting. With a vivified introduction or fascinating statements or other fun slides, you can bring individuals again from their fatigue. 3. It is anything but difficult to tweak each slide to address explicit issues. Pictures on a slide can be diminished or expanded in scale to meet your requirements. It just takes a couple of snaps to embed, modify, and adjust pictures to make a required visual portrayal. You can even utilize bolts, pointers, or different shapes to feature key zones of data you need individuals to think about. 4. It is a basic procedure to make the track with hand-outs. You can print each slide straightforwardly from PowerPoint. At that point, you can duplicate those slides to wind up an accommodating hand-out that can be given to every introduction member. 5. It is sensibly moderate for general experts. Field-tested strategies for Office 365 begin at just shy of $10 eve

CONS

1. There's dependably the shot of running into specialized challenges. Indeed, even technically knowledgeable people can keep running into introduction issues when the innovation doesn't function as planned. Possibly the PC quits working. Or on the other hand, you lose the capacity to your outlet. Or on the other hand, the overhead showcase doesn't work right. This can change the positive initial introduction of an introduction very rapidly. 2. Slides with a lot of data on them can end up overpowering. Since there are such huge numbers of choices that can be incorporated on a PowerPoint introduction, it very well may be anything but difficult to go over the edge on the quantity of hues, sounds, shapes, and different things that can be utilized. By adding to numerous things, you can degrade the data that should be shared. 3. Is anything but a substitute for what a moderator must do. Numerous who use PowerPoint will in general depend on the data on the slide as opposed to giving a learning account. It is anything but difficult to wind up excessively dependent on this product and overlook that there is a genuine introduction that should be finished. 4. Expenses are continually progressing. Since it is a piece of the Office 365 bundle, you never again get an exclusive programming permit for one explicit expense. You should pay a month to month or yearly membership cost, which after some time can mean more than what the restrictive permit once advertised. You should

Microsoft PowerPoint is a wonderful tool for Presentations

I use Microsoft PowerPoint each month to put together the slides for our monthly firm-wide meeting presentations. The product creates a professional easy to use presentation. I love how collaborative it is and how I can easily upload slides to the deck that colleagues have created.

PROS

I love how collaborative Microsoft PPT is and how I can easily upload slides to the deck that colleagues have created. I like that it has suggested layouts making it easy and efficient to create a connected and professional presentation

CONS

I wish some of the features were easier to use like videos and audio when presenting in Teams. The longer I use the product the more I love it and the easier it is to use.

If you want to make Presentations then Powerpoint has got you covered!

I've had a very positive experience with Powerpoint and would recommend it to almost anyone. Great software that has many features and is very easy to use.

PROS

PowerPoint being part of Microsoft's vast range of Products offers a vast number of features and resources to make your presentation. Having a very clean and intuitive design to the software helps you design your presentation in a simple card format. This layout helps you plan your presentation and build on it with visual tools to help change font size's, colour, layout, shapes and even allows you to add various images onto your slides. Furthermore you can also change slide animations, add sound cue's, add 3d videos and gif's to your slides to fully customise your presentation.

CONS

In terms of Cons there are a few cons such as how sometimes this software isn't as optimized and can feel slow on some computers when you try and either add too many images or 3d file formats into your presentation. While the slide format is nice sometimes however, you want to do more than just create a simple slide structure. While you can make some interesting presentations over time you wish you can create something that is completely different to powerpoints overall structure and this is where you might pursue another product to use.

Reason for choosing Microsoft PowerPoint

More features and it's universally known as a standard for presentations.

A program that will enable you to make engaging presentations

PowerPoint is fantastic! It's my go-to for actual presentations, as was already noted. However, I also use it for a wide range of design tasks, and it has greatly facilitated the development of those projects. In contrast to apps for online creative design, anything you produce is always accessible to you because it is saved on your computer.

PROS

When I am giving a presentation, I always use this software for the overheads (which I do a lot). The process of designing slides is incredibly user-friendly. The features (such as typefaces) are extremely comparable to those of Word. Additionally, you can use tools like the B key function to completely clear the screen during the presentation if necessary. Additionally, you may see the following slide in Presentation mode. However, I adore PowerPoint because of all the other things you can do with it. I use it for various types of designs I need, such as graphic design for posters and Facebook photos. Size, color, and layout adjustments are all quite simple. Gridlines are available for aligning photos.

Best presentation software for windows platforms

This has been a tool used in my life since I was in grade school. The evolution of presentations varied greatly over that time. I have seen integrated media, animated slides, advanced templates allowing for various trivia game style presentations and presentations designed to present themselves. PowerPoint has been a staple tool for communication in the same way that email and telephones have been staples to businesses or other organizations. I never found any issue with PowerPoint that was not easy to solve with tools built into the program. Any advanced presentation styles could be found online and easily implemented.

PROS

The best aspect of this software is that it is user friendly. Slideshows come with preset themes with easily alterable color schemes. Integration of media content with or without internet access. Best of all, as a leading software in the market, any PowerPoint presentation can be read on Windows and Mac platforms whereas slideshow programs originating on Mac do not always cross over well to Windows. Use of advanced slides is made simple as they can be downloaded as a new template scheme. One example of this is using PowerPoint to play Jeopardy style trivia to engage the audience. This presentation tool is a staple for education in any setting. Medical professionals' training and conferences, business place meetings and marketing, schools or universities, and as updates and newsletters through email. The versatility is remarkable.

CONS

There is a lack of collaborative features in real time. Currently many features of what Google has introduced with Docs and Slides allow people to work on the go in real time. PowerPoint is more sophisticated than any online platform but if it were to integrate even a few of the collaborative features available to other Microsoft products such as OneNote then there would be nothing to complain about.

PowerPoint - One of the best presentation application

Yet another amazing app by the MS team. With this software, you can take control of the show. I have been working with this application since 2007 to present and don't think I will move to any other app on the market.

PROS

PowerPoint - One of the best presentation application on the market. It has been a pleasure working with this software on a daily basis while doing New Hire Training at the company I worked. It has the familiar ribbon that all Microsoft Office users have come to love and adore. This piece of software is like a masterpiece with numerous advance feature that you might not completely take advantage of throughout your lifetime. Just to name a few of its' madness: * It has the amazing File menu with loads of configurable options. * The Insert ribbon houses tons of cool insert options to add pictures, audio and video to your customized slide and slide shows. * The cool draw option give you the sketch feel to markup on the presentation to draw attention to the viewers. * Under design you can select from a selection of templates or better yet, create your own which can also be saved to the list. * Transition give your slides that in or out effect when moving from one slide to another. * Animation add yet another dimension to the presentation, which allows the presenter command the content on the slide to do something cool and amazing to keep the focus. * like other apps in the MS suite, PowerPoint also has macros and VBA, allowing you to make things happen on the fly.

CONS

I have no dislikes at the moment for this software.

The software which has embodied presentation itself

As a part of my job duty, I have to make a lot presentations and I am completely dependent of MS PowerPoint for this. I admit there are a lot of other flashy softwares for making slideshows and I had tried a fair share of them but always I had to return to MS PowerPoint. This is true for my colleagues too. That is the ultimate success of this software.

PROS

1. Ease of Use: Since PowerPoint is the member of MS Office suite and the UI is similar to other Office softwares like MS Word and MS Excel, the learning curve of MS PowerPoint is comparatively smooth. 2. Wider acceptability: MS PowerPoint is the standard of business presentation. Whole corporate world across the globe accepts or I better say requires presentations be made in MS PowerPoint. The adoptability is so high that presentations are normally called by the name of PowerPoint presentations. 3. Wide range of templates and add-ons availability: Since this software is widely adopted, there are a lot of templates and add-ons available for MS PowerPoint. This has made it super convenient to prepare a stunning presentation. 4. Ability to add different kinds of multimedia contents into the presentation: You can add multimedia contents like Photos, Audios, Videos etc into the presentation and run them natively from the presentation. 5. Custom Slide show: There is a great feature called Custom slide show. By using this, you can create a master presentation and then create different slide shows for different audiences. This is a great time saver sometimes.

CONS

1. Version dependency: My very first reason of frustration is version dependency of the presentations. Many a times, I see that my presentation doesn’t run as I expected if the PC in which the presentation is running has a different version of the software than the PC I used to prepare the presentation.  For this reason, I have to carry my laptop everywhere instead of just carrying a thumb drive. 2. Video Playback glitch: Though not always but sometimes, video playback gets stuck or slows down causing embarrassment for the presenter.

PowerPoint Review

I personally will always use PowerPoint. I feel like it's a easy software to use and can really help a presentation. It can easily set you apart from competition and make your professional game a lot stronger!

PROS

I have been using PowerPoint for well over 15 years. To use the product from my earlier years in school for presentations about Penguins to teaching Cultural Diversity in the Human Resources setting in my organization shows how this product can be used in so many different settings. I found it easy to learn the basics while in middle school and high school. Being a visual learner myself, this software is something that I can connect with on a personal basis. I believe using this software for your presentations helps deliver the message on another level with being able to catch the audience's attention and keep it. I work as the Employment Coordinator/Recruiter with my company. I work with a lot of data. With me being a visual person, this software allows for me to get my data across in a way I'm comfortable with. I do this by using charts/graphs in the presentation. It allows me to show my leadership my data such as (applicant, education of applicant, experience of applicant, how many applicants) to them in a way that text and conversation can't do on it's on. This makes me look more professional and organized. It clearly shows my losses and success, my goals and my progress!

CONS

I think if you are not careful, you can get carried away with using too much text or too many images. There has to be a balance. I think it helps to get proper training/education on how to build an effective presentation. Anyone can click around and enter text and images, but the audience may focus too much on what's on the screen and not what the actual message is. It's to aid in the presentation and the message, not take over and replace the presenter. Also, the fact that you have to pay for it with a subscription monthly or annually can pose a problem for some.

Microsoft Powerpoint For Engineering Student

This is very good software and I am still goes with this until I found a good alternative with good user base and compatibility with other word processing softwares.I recommend this to every one who use Microsoft operating system and it will be good choice and goid investment .

PROS

As a engineering student we have to done lot of assingment ,researches and make presentations to those work every week. For making presentation my first choice is Microsoft Powerpoint. There is non other software which can help me to making presentations than Microsoft Powerpoint. This is comes with Ms Office packe there for when buying the package Ms Powerpoint comes with it and it can use with other office software which comes with Ms Office package. That is my favorite option in this software because I can easily add any graph create in Ms Excel or any document create in Ms Word to my presentation which create in Ms powerpoint without any changing.Just simply copy and paste .Thats why I love this software very much because its a part of Ms office package and all can work together. Many people are using this software therefore every pc have been installed this software. So I can run my presentation of any of these pc in the presentation room. That is very he and good life saver.I would not to be consider the presentation running software which at the presentation room pc when I am going to create my presentation.

CONS

My favorite this is this software is that I can run my presentation in every pc because this software can be found in every pc in the world. But when the version change to pc to pc some changes are happen to my presentation when I open it on those differnt type of version in Powerpoint. It is too painfull to re create my presentation when it open in differnt version of Powerpoint without the version it created.Because this error I face lot of difficulties when I going to present my presentation infront of my audience due to run it on different versions than it created version. That is the main drawback which I saw in this software. Also this software hase some cost to buy but there are many good alternatives with lot of new usefull options which can use in free. But the reson which I still this software is its huge user base.I think they will give good answer to that problem soon.

PowerPoint and Education Online

Overall I am very pleased to have been able to use PowerPoint over the years. Having started with earlier versions years back it has actually been quite easy to adapt to newer versions as they are released. I have been able to edit and re-use materials, making use of updated features. This adds a real shine to my earlier produced slide sets.

PROS

Powerpoint offers the opportunity for educators to adapt and add to existing classroom coursebook materials and activities. Once users have learnt the basics it is possible to make engaging materials that are both audibly and visually engaging. This can be done through the easy ability to insert an audio or video clip into a slide set, in addition to (inserting) pictures and the use of a variety of colours of texts and backgrounds. Once a user has made a PowerPoint slide set it can be easily used a slide show presentation as part of a classroom-based or online lesson. Slide sets are easily made available to peers and students through attachment to email or online platforms and can be set to play purely as a presentation by the viewer without the ability to edit if desired. I have successfully used PowerPoint projected on a whiteboard in the physical classroom and also as a base for lessons online using various conferencing platforms.

CONS

Although a PowerPoint slide set is very useful as a document that can be used repeatedly for lessons, if an educator is using PowerPoint in 'presentation' mode it is quite fiddly to try and edit the content on a page. An example of when this might be desirable is if the user wants to add something or correct and error. As it is necessary to use the presentation mode to make any animations effective for the viewer, say layering of pictures introduced one at a time over each other on the same slide, going out of this (presentation) mode in front of learners online stops the presentation and thus the flow of a lesson. The price point of PowerPoint may also be an issue for some educators depending on whether they are having to pay for individual access or are covered as part of a school paid group license.

Power Point Review

For me, PowerPoint is the fastest way to create high-quality presentations and templates for video sales letters. With Power Point as a basis, screen capture videos can also be created with video software. I use this for my online courses with great success. Thank you Microsoft.

PROS

On the one hand, it is of course easiest to transport a presentation when it is available in digital form. In the same way as e-books or e-mails, you are also more environmentally friendly due to the low paper consumption. The presentation also has some advantages for the lecture itself. The digital processing of the presentation requires a certain structure and organization of the lecture, since only one topic should be addressed on each slide. In addition, PowerPoint offers good support if you forget what should be addressed next If used correctly, the graphic support should also be the only task of the Powerpoint presentation. The graphic support gives you the opportunity to attract everyone's attention rather than just speaking freely. Another advantage of the Powerpoint presentation is that changes and updates can still be carried out without any problems even at the last moment, in contrast to an elaborately designed presentation board.

CONS

There is a high risk of forgetting that you are the focus of your presentation. It can happen that you rely too much on your presentation and forget your own posture and articulation. In addition, to a certain extent it is always a bit tricky to have to rely on technology. If it also has many advantages, you will be pretty smeared if it fails. The same applies to incorrect handling of the program. Because some people don't know how to use PowerPoint and incorporate so many special effects into their lecture that the audience hardly knows what it's actually about. Because of this, high quality knowledge of the program is necessary if you intend to use it. Amateur handling is the reason why PowerPoint today often has a negative connotation.
