I am in my early 60s with some major life and work goals still to achieve. I’ve been a time management and productivity junkie for my whole career yet still struggle to achieve my goals, and after so many years of underachieving I’ve been left feeling that life is just a mass of overwhelming tasks and little real progress. Finally, Timestripe has given me inspiration and motivation again. I love being able to clearly link everything I do to my longer term goals and keep these clearly visible in the Horizons view. I love the flexibility to move tasks between dates and get an overview of all my tasks for the day, or filter on particular types of tasks or goals to reduce overwhelm. I also like the potential to add all kinds of documents and notes and make this my go-to work space as well as my planning system. I also like the option of automatically repeating tasks such as daily to dos, weekly invoicing and annual birthday reminders, which means nothing is lost when shifting from my current organiser apps to Timestripe.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

I’m so glad to have discovered an app that finally allows me to effectively align all my work and personal goals in a way that helps me stay motivated and focused.

#### Cons

As a new user, I’m still learning about the overall capabilities of Timestripe and any limitations. I haven’t yet worked out if it is possible to move linked tasks and goals together to new dates, if not this will be frustrating. And although I like the range of functionality and features, with boards and climbs for example to support my own planning and self-development, there is so much in the app that it's a bit of a steep learning curve to start with.

#### Reasons for switching to Timestripe

I needed a clearer way to link tasks to goals

Timestripe helps me organize better than any other goals or todo app i've tried. And I feel like I've tried everything already... Even better than good old pen and paper !

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I am blown away by Timestripe. i've tried every single app on the market and never felt satisfied. I love the fact that I can so easily bounce between a macro and micro view of all my todos and goals. It's really amazing. The IOS experience is also great. I use it every single day.

#### Cons

I'd love it to have a native mac app. MACOS does support the ipad app though and it works well. And free version is rather limited.

#### Reasons for switching to Timestripe

Notion is too expensive and didn't provide proper tools for tasks and goals management... It's too confusing.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I've tried many different apps before, but this one really does make sense to me. Being able to link my day to day tasks with long term goals just makes sense. Quick to capture, across so many platforms and apps helps me collect my tasks, and then the ability to schedule them and link to long term goals helps me gather my thoughts and figure out priorities.

#### Cons

If only it were free... Seriously, the free version is going to be great for most people, they offer a lot of functionality.

#### Reasons for switching to Timestripe

Increased functionality linking daily tasks with longer term goals

The onboarding was simple, and easy to follow which is appreciated. I am a visual person and they included many screenshots, and short video clips on how to do things. The team has thought of everything and as a neurodivergent person this is something that helps me when I choose companies to support.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I like that it not only manages my tasks but also goals for short term and long term. The platform is clean and easy to use which is another plus and hard to find. I am neurodivergent and many times find apps overwhelming to use but this one meets all the marks.

#### Cons

Right now I'm looking for an app that can seamlessly integrate with a few of my other programs. I'm excited for their roadmap as many of the features I'm looking for seem to be on the list.

#### Reasons for switching to Timestripe

I needed a more simple interface than what Evernote supplied. Evernote has the infastructure and integrations however it was too much for my brain to handle.

### One of the best

I've researched and tried numerous to-do services. All of them share a common problem: they're overly complex, with a high entry threshold. For simple daily tasks—like adding a task, looking something up, or quickly jotting down a note—you need to navigate through too many steps. I used Workflowy for about 10 years—it offered maximum simplicity and freedom. I switched to Timestripe because of its Horizon view, which is beautiful. Unfortunately, it still involves navigating through a lot of interfaces; it's more about the UX. But it's a worthy compromise, and definitely, I haven't encountered a simpler and more pleasant to-do service interaction in the last 15 years.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

A unique representation of the planning horizon is the Horizon view. Enjoyable user interface.

#### Cons

Search and structuring - tagging and searching is so-so.

#### Reasons for switching to Timestripe

Timestripe has a Horizon feature that automatically transfers tasks to the next period. This means if tasks remain incomplete by the end of the day, they are automatically shifted to the following day, eliminating the necessity for manual, individual reassignment.

Overall, I really like Timestripe. Once, you get used to it and find your system it is very easy to use and it's great in helping you fulfill your goals.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I absolutely loved that I can set goals in different timelines and spaces in Timestripe. Personal goals and work goals can be easily recorded in different spaces, and then through different timelines, from long-term yearly goals to quarterly goals, monthly and weekly goals. I can break down a huge goal into smaller and smaller targets, which makes it very actionable. The interface is very cool, easy and fun to use.

#### Cons

The tutorials were a little bit difficult to understand making the learning curve a bit longer and steeper. It would be nice to have more examples of how to use Timestripe (ex. more templates, or more videos on different ways to take advantage of the features).

#### Reasons for switching to Timestripe

I wanted something where I could see everything and interact with it seamlessly. I wanted to have long-term goals in the same place as my short-term goals. Also, love the ability to break things down into smaller goals and schedule those right away.

So I have been using this productivity app Timestripe to manage my life at the start of the year. I was experiencing problems with staying focused to complete tasks and I made it my objective to find a productivity tool for the start of the year that can do everything I need it to do and it has helped me so much to stay organised and focused. I do everything on there such as set daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals/tasks, journal, reminders, notes etc. I love this app. I definitely recommend this app if you struggle to stay productive and plan. I have told many friends and family about this app. Possibly would love to work with them if they have an opening 😉

#### Cons

Maybe it could be integrated with more apps so that users can automate their tasks. Also now that AI is the new thing, integrate it with AI features.

I've been using the app for quiet some time and I fell in love with it. Two features that I would like to highlight. First, the Horizon's holistic view of the tasks at hand. One can easily switch from List view to time view for the given date and with the tasks due at a glance, it is easy to drag one and fit in the available time slot to plan and get it done. This is so cool. Second, automatic carryforward of the incomplete tasks. This keeps giving your consistent reminder of the missed out tasks which forces you to get them done.

Very good overall, almost exactly what I was looking for in a to-do list app, especially for myself personally, and with the convenient option for business as well.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5

#### Pros

I like that it is easy to use, is a convenient use for both phone and computer, and that it gives goals for the week, month, year, etc, so that I can better apply a "divide and conquer" mindset to my goals.

#### Cons

What I did not like was at times, things would take longer than they should, for a time I was able to simply click on a goal to submit it, but one day it changed to where everytime I tried to click on it, it would take me to the actual options. Only takes a few seconds longer, but the lack of convenience aggravated me a little bit.

Best time/task management app I worked with so far.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I absolutely adore about Timestripe is that it works in collections (lists of things) and future logs, just like bullet journal does. I can plan things for the next week, I can see things from list My Business scheduled for today, this week, this month and this year. Of course I can have there my own habit tracker too! The app is simple, clean, works perfectly for all my devices (including Windows laptop, Android phone and iPad). The tutorial is truly helpful too, and the community is active, offering some challenges.

#### Cons

The free version is very limited and not satisfying at all, you really have to pay to enjoy the possibilities of Timestripe. This is the only downside of Timestripe I found.

#### Reasons for switching to Timestripe

None of other apps worked like bullet journal with its simplicity and flexibility. Clickup is far too heavy and complicated, Asana is a poor sister of Clickup that also forces you to plan things to do in the future like you'd know which day it would be, Trello is too chaotic, and Notion is nice, but not for tasks.

1. The Horizons. This is a unique feature that only Timestrip has. It has also helped me to concentrate better on my tasks. 2. Beautiful design. Timestripe is just a pleasure to use, the interface is very simple and not distracting.

#### Cons

Calendar view. You can schedule time slots in Timestripe. At the moment there is no two-way synchronisation with Google Calendar. I'd like to switch to Timestripe completely and move my appointments into it. I can't do that right now, but I know the team is actively working on it.

Timestripe helps me set my goals rather than just creating to-do lists, enhancing my productivity and helping me achieve long-term objectives. Its interface encourages me to focus more on the actions needed to reach my long-term goals, something I couldn’t achieve with any other to-do app I tried before, and I tried many. Additionally, its unique approach sets it apart from traditional task management applications.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

At first, using this app was disturbing because it completely reshapes how you manage your to-dos. But thanks to the templates and modules, which act like tutorials, it helps you rethink your organization and determine real objectives for the mid and long term, not just tasks. What I absolutely adore about Timestripe is its organization. You can start building a plan by thinking of your high-level objectives and developing them into achievable actions, which you can organize by month, week, or any other criteria you've determined. This way, you can always keep your overall objective in mind based on the different actions you need to take you and your team. The web app and iOS app are very well done, clear, and offer many possibilities. I've just started using it, but after a few days, I love it. I used to focus solely on tasks, which prevented me from seeing the big picture. I'm still finding my routine with the app, but it's definitely one of the apps I use now.

#### Cons

A native Mac app with notifications is missing, even though the web app can be used as an app. Additionally, more shortcuts for navigating the app would be great—I know I'm a shortcut nerd!

It's a very cleverly designed tool, extremely useful once one understands how to use it best. It really helps vizualise goals and long term visions. It can easily adapt to different needs and the more one adds the better it becomes. The Horizon feature is something I was looking for in a long time and could not find it in other apps.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

The simplicity of the design. The view of the whole year/quarters. The feature of "Climbs"

#### Cons

It takes time to understand how it can be used. There is no option to tag tasks. The colors feature is nice but would be better if we could name each color. Not much information on the company, future updates and privacy of fate
