It doesn't force its features down your throat, but you'll find yourself using more and more of them as you slowly and unwittingly become a power user.- You think other browsers can organize tabs and cookie sessions for you? Try Wavebox and you'll realize how far behind regular browsers are.- "Why would I pay for a browser?", you might ask. Well, you get what you pay for. Your run of the mill browsers might have cool features, but you will not find something as full of value as Wavebox. And they keep coming up with amazing features all the time!- Expanding on the topic of adding features, they added a GPT client mere weeks after the explosion of ChatGPT, and it's extremely powerful.- Their support is out of this world. They fix things all the time, and if you experience a problem and report it, you're pretty much guaranteed to have it fixed in a couple of days. I had two interactions with support in the 3+ years I've used it, and it not only was extremely pleasant and friendly to communicate with the team, but my issues were immediately addressed and fixed. Two interactions in 3+ years speaks for itself in terms of the quality of the product.I cannot say I like something the most, because I love all of it. Cons: I don't think there's much missing, or even something to be improved. Wavebox is one of those products that is just perfect the way it is, but they still manage to come up with stuff that you didn't know you needed. I hate to sound like a fanboy, but it's hard to come up with cons.If I wanted to be nitpicky, the only con I see is that it's hard to get my colleagues to use it because they are used to browsers being free, but, like I said in the pros section, you get your money's worth, and everyone's usually impressed when I share my screen and asks me what browser I'm using. It's not so much about the price-value proposition, but more about the general stigma there is about paying for a browser. I work with clients on a monthly retainer basis and have tons of applications, platforms, and accounts to log in to each day. It's been so helpful having each client, my own business, and my personal stuff all separated nicely. I don't have to worry about mixing anything up. I'm less likely to get distracted so I can stay on task and be more productive with my work hours. I absolutely love how customizable it is. From simple things like colors and icons to the big stuff like the actual layout of the entire workspace. It works well with every single app/platform/tool I use. I love Smart Notes, its split-screen capability, it works with Chrome extensions... the list goes on. And I don't know that I've even used every single feature yet. It's just so robust AND it doesn't slow my computer down. Cons: There was definitely a bit of a learning curve at first. I ended up totally scrapping my initial setup with how I grouped things because I realized it was not functioning the best way for \*my\* brain and the way I work. The customizability is amazing but it also means you can easily set things up in ways that may not be the best for how each individual works.Also, maybe I missed something in the settings but I couldn't figure out how to not literally mute everything while in Focus Mode. I turned Focus Mode on to stop pop-up notifications of new emails, but then I'd go into a Google Meet meeting and have no audio. I'd like an option to not have notifications pop-up/sounds but still have audio in my apps within Wavebox. Reasons for switching to Wavebox I was using Shift before and I just got too fed up with how much it slowed down my computer. They also got rid of the "open in new window" feature (that might be back now, I'm not sure). The other competitors that I looked at when switching from Shift just didn't seem quite as user-friendly/intuitive as Wavebox. The design is very innovative, I didn't think you could do so many flashy changes in a browser. Wavebox does it very cool. It is very versatile, the truth is that I have been surprised to have found a browser like this. It saves me from creating multiple profiles in Google Chrome or Edge, using multiple cookies within a single browser is a huge advantage for people running different execution hubs. Cons: The price is a bit expensive, I would have liked it to start from $9.99.I would also like you to add a widget to crop the area you want from a given page and only that area to be displayed in a widget just like arc browser does. I remember using Shift when it came out originally for a similar purpose. This product is like Shift on STEROIDS. I'd never go back. And I'll never go back to Chrome, either. I was a person who had 5-10 Chrome WINDOWS open with several tabs in each. I do the same in Wavebox sometimes, sure, but WB puts all those tabs to sleep when I'm not using them, so I'm not killing my computer. I absolutely LOVE Wavebox!
