actiTIME is a cloud-based project time tracking product that offers billing and invoicing, email reminders, task management and reporting for project teams and team managers.

Users can create task lists or import them from CSV files. Deadlines can be managed within the tool, and users can choose to use email notifications for deadline tracking or other project communication.

Accounting managers can define hourly rates for regular and overtime hours worked to project and track cost of work.

actiTIME offers a freeware solution for up to five users, and paid solutions with 30-day free trials for larger teams.

Cloud based solution works from anywhere. They also have an app for iOS. I believe they have one for Android as well.

Cons

There are some limitations on how granular you can get on tasks. It can be done, but the output and reporting doesn't work well when you go to this level.

It keeps me and my staff organized and anyone can log in from anywhere. The people from Actitime who have been in touch with me have all been very proactive and service oriented.

Cons

It would be helpful if there were a way to let people know if a similar client, job, or task has already been created, so you don't have anything entered more than once. Maybe if there was a feature that made you identify a specific task (like a Phone Meeting), which could then be applied to multiple clients. This can also be remedied by strict protocols in the office, but a fail safe with the software, like Quickbooks has, would be nice.

Manage and control the man hours efficiently.

Pros

We could manage the time reporting more efficiently. Its user friendly. Reports can be managed by the administrator without any delay. Engineer's could able to submit their time sheet from job site through their mobile. Top management able to view the daily man hours and the occurred cost by projects. The software assist the management to manage and control the cost efficiently.

Cons

Only one thing, for any queries need to wait for the feedback from support team.
I always prefer to have face to face communications.

This web application has helped us gain control of hours actually spent on every project we take on, including maintenance of existing products. Great reporting features to pass on to upper management. Good that it nags the users to complete their time when they forget.

Cons

Seems like too many features are added or improved. Whenever I have to go into maintain the setups, user, projects, tasks etc. I have to learn how to do it all over because the features are constantly being updated.

actiTime simplified my time tracking and invoice generation.

Pros

Invoice generation is easy to use and very useful. Reports generation is full featured and easy to use.

Cons

Requiring the user to manually synchronize data from the phone application is clunky, error prone and unnecessary. Other time trackers I use do not require manual synchronization.

We are using actiTIME for our IT company and we are absolutely convinced of it. ActiTIME helps to show you your and your employees working hours clear and structured. It even has some more features for a better overview so we can just recommend it to everyone.

Cons

There is not a really bad thing about actiTIME but maybe it would be cool to have an hour-report for the mobile App as well to see your working statistics on the first view.

Cons

The interfaces in actiTIME are available in English only although it is possible to name tasks, projects and customers in any language. Nevertheless we would prefer to have multilanguage interfaces.

Easy and Affordable Time Management software for our business. Reporting is also extremely usefull.

Pros

Fast and easy to Set up, Easy to use, and with the reporting options it makes Monthly and Yearly ends efficient.

Cons

Our only DOwnside is the calculation of Vacation Hours. No Automatic calculations for a % based off of Hours Worked. However With all the features being added, I can see it being added sometime in the feature, Hopefully.

I found in actiTIME all the requirements I was looking for. We are getting a lot of benefit - the tool enable us to better balance workload, have constant view of what people are doing. And we can easily obtain reports to pay and invoice the projects.

Rich in features for the price. The user interface is very intuitive and it's quick to make an update which is important when you are trying to get staff to use it daily. The reports cover our requirements and we've been able to more accurately account for billable time.

So, if you don't have a time tracking system, it's an excellent choice. Stable and easy to install.
