Pros/Cons
Pros
- It’s a great program that helps organizations stay on top of project completions or important customer interactions.
- It's intuitive and easy to use while being very robust and comprehensive. Perfect for distributing work across teams and keeping track of progress and issues.
- There are nice features that integrate across the ecosystem, like opsgenie, also the charts seem useful, having multiple metrics about the project progress.
Cons
- The problem is that with the passage of time I have been getting more things that I dislike and the initials do not stop bothering me, they could even bother me more at a certain point.
- Some of the breakdowns of what issue the problems fall under aren't specific enough, and there are character limits for some of the requests when they should be able to leave more detail.
- Its configuration is a little confusing. As for use, in the beginning user is somewhat lost due to many fields and features of the tool.
Pros
- The customer service is very responsive and helpful. The best is that Android UI tests run on Genymotion emulators and therefore are super fast and reliable.
- The feature that I most like of codemagic Is: codemagic is easy to use and help to speed up the process of software development and testing. Integrations with slack is other of my favorite feature.
- Not to mention the generous free tier and the excellent documentation and guides/blog posts such as the ones describing how to handle Firebase configuration files safely.
Cons
- Ugly build logs are on a black background (by design).
- What's the point of charge for another seat. For me it's only an inconvenience.
- Setup of environment some time crash wich broken pipeline. Runned test not always match with local machine.
