Avaza software


Avaza is a cloud-based project management tool that allows organizations to track time, collaborate with team members and clients, bill customers and manage tasks. The solution can be accessed on any device including laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphones. Project managers can divide big projects into manageable tasks and then assign these tasks to various team members with instructions, responsibilities and deadlines.

Avaza sends automatic email reminders for tasks that are due, ensuring all projects are delivered in a timely manner. The time tracking feature allows users to enter the hours spent on a project and send invoices to clients. Timesheets are also sent to managers for approval which gives them the ability to collect insights about teams' activities. The solution offers built-in invoice templates that can be customized to meet brand requirements.

Avaza offers additional project management features such as drag and drop, document sharing, sub-task creation, tagging, filtering, invoicing, reporting and receipts digitization. Users can also add payment buttons to invoices for portals such as PayPal, Visa, American Express, MasterCard and JCB.

    Very positive.

    Pros

    The ease and low cost of adding more people. This means that I can add people for single projects instead of worrying about only adding the bare minimum of my team. The accessibility of customer support is extremely beneficial.

    I really like how this software enhances my ability to communicate with fellow colleagues from different work spaces. I am able to list new jobs and input my work hours, creating a system where everyone is in the loop with timescales and productivity.

    Cons

    The new layout is very corporate. I don't particularly need to see invoices and sales/payments on my home page/dashboard, however everyone is different. Something more creative and visual would promote me personally into using this software.

    Better ways to share a project between developer and clients. A greater overview of where we are in the project. And its easy to add new task on the fly i.e. at a meeting since you can just push return and a the task gets saved, new task is ready to filled

    Pros

    Its simple and fast, and helps a lot in the daily workflow.
    Each task has a lot of posibillities and even commenst can have attachments. So while working on an assignment, others can comment.

    Cons

    Since comments on tasks works great, and its part of the flow, its unfortunate, that it doesn't auto update the page, so new comments will pop in. You have to refresh the entire page to see IF a new comments has arrived

    Real time tracking of project tasks and entry of sub-tasks for various activities allows for easy task tracking and updating. Layout of screens and project reporting features are very helpful.

    Cons

    I am colorblind so some of the icons for project tracking are difficult for me to differentiate between. Icons be done in solid circle graphic vs. linear circle icons...addition of some type of feature for visual impairments such as mine would be great.

    What I like most about Avaza is the simplicity and functioning tools it offers in a neat user interface right within the software.

    Cons

    I would say the only drawback for me when it comes to using the Avaza software is that I find it difficult to have an ongoing conversation if not tied to a scheduled task.

    Sometimes I want to easily start a conversation and I have not learned how to send direct messages or post on a general board. It may be my mistake in not seeing this option.

    Delivering Client Projects Is Easy With Avaza

    Avaza is not overly complex, so it cannot accommodate really heavy projects with large teams or complexities. It does, though, provide amazing results for teams with a more direct approach to project delivery. I was able to implement its use in a software development firm that specialized in cloud applications. Specializing in Microsoft's online SharePoint environments, Avaza was the tool of choice to manage projects dealing with migrations and customization of such sites. It did include large projects and small ones, and managed time tracking for billing, as these were on an hourly basis. The features were just right. But because there was no custom coding and developing for which unit testing or QA department involvement, Avaza worked extremely well for them.

    Pros

    Avaza has all the core functionality that lets any business successfully manage and deliver client projects. It is not just for development projects. It can be used in a wide array of industries because of this basic general core of features.

    For starters, Avaza manages contacts and distinguishes them between clients (external contacts) and team members. It uses this to connect projects to its clients and the resources that will be working on these projects. The roles for the contacts are manage in the contacts section as well, allowing the admin to connect just the right resources and the features they need.

    Adding projects is fairly simple, as well. Create a new project and allocate the client to it. That is it. Then add the necessary tasks for the project, allocating team members from the contact list. You can even group into sections that can represent milestones, features, epics, or any description that fits your project or organizational business needs. Project views can also be customized. You can view projects in a Kanban styled board, as a Gantt chart or even as a list.

    Team members track time against the tasks until completion and the process is quite simple and straightforward. Avaza also provides team scheduling and provides forecasting capabilities across one or more projects. You can also manage timesheets, expenses and recurring expenses for all the projects in Avaza.

    Avaza offers the capabilities of providing your clients with quotes or estimates for projects, as well as managing invoicing, recurring invoices, credit notes and payments. And you can track all the work via an extensive library of reports.

    Cons

    Avaza is not a feature rich product for large enterprises or large projects with large teams, as these must track defects, reworks, testing and a host of other tasks that often have dependencies upon others. This is something Avaza does not manage and trying to track this level of effort is not something that can be done. So, this is definitely for smaller organizations or teams with basic projects.

    Help to my study team in every group proyect since we find out this app, after that i estart to apply the system in my personal business and make me and my work team to be precise like swiss watch and so far we do not have problems with deadlines. Can be use in any device you want and use emails to remember all the tasks

    What I like the most about this software is that it automatically sends me email to my nearly due tasks. It actually saves me from my deadlines!!!

    I like most that when you create landing pages, all themplates are mobile responsive. Another benefit is that you can personalize all elements.

    This is a great software for general use. So many products are geared towards specific industry and I am able to customize this. It's great for invoicing.

    The phone app is not intuitive as the app on the computer. It seems like it has a lot of bugs and is not easy to navigate.

    I love how fast and easy Avaz is to use, and how equally quick and easy it was to get started.     The invoicing system. I used many, and this one has by far the best templates and tracking abilities. Very easy to use. Also like the ability to create Gantt charts for project timelines; which is very useful when submitting invoices.

    Would like if you could save as you are drafting the invoice without having to go back into edit mode each time. Also the ability to add bullets in the description section .

    I LOVE the customer service - they're responsive via chat or by phone and they've taken the time to bring my team members up to speed. Now what service takes the time to do that - awesome!
    I also searched extensively and this is the only software I could find that can help me to project budgeting and project management. This is not easy to find, especially at an affordable price. Overall, I have to say that I've tried and purchased (regretfully) lots of software and Avaza has definitely been the only one that actually meets my needs!

    Cons

    The user interface isn't as "pretty" as some of the other softwares. It doesn't have robust social collaboration tools within the program.
