At $10 per month for a single user (when billed annually), it offers 100 GB of storage, a 5 GB file upload limit, and access to 10 versions of each file. Users can e-sign up to 15 documents per month, create unlimited templates, and take advantage of advanced features like signer verification and password protection. \*\*Pros:\*\* - \*\*Enhanced storage and file management:\*\* With increased storage, higher file upload limits, and access to multiple file versions, users can manage and collaborate on files more effectively. - \*\*Expanded e-signature capabilities:\*\* The higher monthly document limit and advanced features enable users to streamline their e-signature workflows. - \*\*Affordable pricing:\*\* At $10 per month (billed annually), the plan provides a cost-effective solution for individuals with more advanced needs. \*\*Cons:\*\* - \*\*Single-user limitation:\*\* The plan is designed for one user only, which may not be suitable for those who need to collaborate with others. - \*\*Potential for outgrowing the plan:\*\* Users may find the storage and file upload limits restrictive as their needs evolve. - \*\*Lack of business-oriented features:\*\* The Personal Pro plan may not offer the full range of features and integrations businesses or teams require. \_\_Business plans\_\_ Box offers a range of Business plans tailored to the needs of different organizations. All plans require a three-user minimum, and pricing reflects annual billing (month-to-month billing is about 25% higher). Plans include Business Starter ($5 per user/month), Business ($15 per user/month), Business Plus ($25 per user/month), Enterprise ($35 per user/month), and Enterprise Plus ($50 per user/month). Key features across these plans include increased storage, higher file upload limits, advanced collaboration tools, robust security and compliance measures, and integration with popular business apps. \*\*Pros:\*\* - \*\*Scalability:\*\* With various plans and per-user pricing, organizations can select the plan that best fits their current needs and scale as they grow. - \*\*Advanced features:\*\* Business plans offer a wide range of features to support secure collaboration, workflow automation, and content management. - \*\*Robust security and compliance:\*\* Box provides built-in security features and compliance certifications to help organizations protect their data and meet regulatory requirements. \*\*Cons:\*\* - \*\*Higher costs:\*\* As organizations add more users and require advanced features, Business plan costs can increase quickly. - \*\*Complexity:\*\* With a wide range of features and customization options, Box Business plans may be complex for some organizations to set up and manage. - \*\*Learning curve:\*\* Adopting new collaboration and content management tools may require time for employees to learn and adapt to the new system. \_\_Enterprise Advanced plan\_\_ For organizations with the most demanding content management and collaboration needs, Box offers the Enterprise Advanced plan. Potential customers must contact the provider for pricing. The plan includes unlimited intelligent no-code apps with custom dashboards, connected forms for business processes, automated document generation, customized AI agents, AI-powered metadata extraction, higher API allowances, file uploads up to 500 GB, and compliant long-term data preservation. The free Individual plan offers a solid foundation with essential features, but users may quickly outgrow its limitations. The Personal Pro plan, at $10 per month, provides expanded storage and enhanced e-signature capabilities, making it a smart choice for those needing more flexibility without breaking the bank. \*\*For growing businesses and established enterprises:\*\* The Business and Enterprise plans offer scalability and a range of features. Starting at $5 per user/month, the Business Starter plan is a cost-effective entry point for small businesses, while the Business and Business Plus plans (at $15 and $25 per user/month, respectively) unlock unlimited storage and advanced security features. The Enterprise ($35 per user/month) and Enterprise Plus ($50 per user/month) plans provide unparalleled customization, compliance, and support for organizations with complex needs. The Enterprise Advanced plan, with its intelligent no-code apps and AI-powered features, is tailored for businesses with the most demanding requirements. When selecting a plan, companies should consider team size, storage requirements, collaboration needs, security and compliance standards, budget, and other factors. By aligning these elements with the appropriate Box pricing plan, businesses can optimize their content management workflows, foster seamless collaboration, and achieve their goals while maximizing value. As organizations grow and evolve, Box's flexible plans ensure a smooth path for scaling and adapting to future challenges.

As an editor, I work with articles from multiple authors and collaborate in a box with authors, medical reviewers, and other stakeholders. We collect all the comments for materials and work on them together before we reach an agreement, and the document is accepted. Box helps keep all the history of comments and changes, and it also helps avoid the situation where someone has the wrong or outdated version of the article for review.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

It is easy to collaborate on documents. I can leave comments or propose changes in the text - it is very handy for articles and other documents, because we have a lot of people involved in the content creation and coordination.

#### Cons

The interface might be confusing for less technically sophisticated people. I had to create a video tutorial on commenting because some colleagues couldn't figure out how to open the document and leave their notes.

#### Reasons for choosing Box

It looked like a more secure alternative for our company.

I like that it will automatically download my photos and files. This keeps my files secure in the event my phone is missing or destroyed.

#### Cons

I think the options to buy bigger plans should be more affordable. The limited options dont always fit everyones needs.

#### Pros

Box is very easy to use and has a CLI interface for automating file shares and backups. Sharing and removing access to files with external parties is also very easy which is our main use case for Box.

#### Cons

Box is very expensive for what it provides. This was a driver for our migration to an internal solution, even though it did work very well.

#### Reasons for choosing Box

We needed a simpler tool to get started with very quickly.

Overall, I’ve had a really positive experience with Box. It makes storing, organizing, and sharing files really easy, and I like being able to access everything from pretty much anywhere. The collaboration features are also super handy when working with a team, especially when multiple people need to review or edit documents. It feels reliable and straightforward without a lot of unnecessary hassle. There are a few features that take some time to learn, but once you get familiar with it, Box makes file management much more convenient. I’d definitely recommend it for teams and businesses.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Box has been a great tool for keeping files organized and easy to access. I really like how simple it is to store, share, and collaborate on documents without constantly emailing files back and forth. The interface feels clean and straightforward, and it’s easy to access everything from different devices. The sharing and collaboration features are especially useful for working with a team. Overall, Box has made file management much more convenient and streamlined for us. It’s reliable, user-friendly, and definitely something I’d recommend to anyone looking for a solid cloud storage and collaboration platform.

#### Cons

One downside of Box is that it can take a little time to get used to, especially if you’re new to cloud storage platforms. Some of the more advanced features and settings aren’t always super obvious, so you may need to poke around a bit to find what you’re looking for. The pricing can also feel a little high depending on the plan and how many users you have. That said, once everything is set up, it’s pretty easy to use and works reliably.

Box is a highly functional and robust platform for document management that gets the job done efficiently. While it is undeniably powerful and stable for professional use, the user experience feels a bit outdated and lacks the polished, engaging feel of other cloud storage tools. It is a solid, reliable choice for businesses, even if it isn't the most exciting interface to work with daily

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The file syncing in Box is incredibly reliable, and the desktop application works flawlessly without consuming excessive hard drive space. Additionally, I’ve found Box Canvas and Box Notes to be excellent, well-integrated features that make brainstorming and documentation very convenient. Cons: The user interface feels quite clunky and sterile, especially when compared to the more modern, intuitive design of competitors like Google Drive or Dropbox.

#### Cons

Box is far too rigid and expensive for a small business. The platform is clearly built for large-scale enterprise use, making the initial setup process unnecessarily complex and time-consuming.

I've had a good experience using Box. It's reliable, secure, and makes it easy to share and manage documents without worrying about version control. My team has been able to collaborate more efficiently, and I haven't run into any major issues. Overall, it's a solid platform for businesses.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5

#### Pros

Box has been really easy to use from day one. I like how simple it is to organize files, share folders with teammates, and control who has access to what. We use it to keep project documents in one place, and it's made collaboration much smoother. It also works well with Microsoft Office, which saves time.

#### Cons

The pricing can be a bit expensive, especially for smaller teams. Also, finding some of the advanced admin settings took a little time, but once everything was set up, it wasn't a problem.

Paper clutter was everywhere and people lost the facility inspection forms all the time. Now every file that was previously physically filed in the filing cabinets downstairs are all dumped in Box. Instead of searching through filing cabinets I can now find a keyword and view all documents associated with that keyword.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

Box is acceptable I suppose since the AI search has been able to interpret my messy handwriting without freaking out. I thought the automatic workflows would fail or crash but they did manage to send the correct bills to the appropriate parties.

#### Cons

Getting our legacy SQL data into Box migration process was a complete nightmare and neither on-boarding staff informed us of how painful this would be. Way too expensive.
