Box can crash randomly and can be a bit confusing to use for first time users.

I have a problem that when i upload sometimes it stops and doesn’t go on, so i have to cancel and upload again.

There is something very weird when I access Box with multiple devices, that it fails to automatically sync between them. It has caused a great deal of trouble for me.

The main disadvantage of this solution is related with the file sharing. It is a bit restricted and provokes some problems when downloading if the files are big (in the order of tens of GB).

I've started using Bright Pod since early September and it's been pretty cool. I like how the graphics and structure make it easy to identify things that have to be done this week and next week.

They have very helpful forums and walk you through every step. It is a nice way to track how multiple team members of my department are up do with out micromanaging.

Inability to move task lists into another pod so that all data, files, and comments go with it.

You have a full overview of everything that is going on and good tracking functionalities, great when you're dealing with different time zones and different clients.

The main thing I don't like the fact that this software has no accompanying app.

Brightpod from Synage, is a cloud-based project management solution suited for businesses of all sizes. It is primarily used by marketing agencies or the marketing teams of businesses in a variety of industries.


In Brightpod, projects are called "pods," and users add workflows—made up of task lists, goals and milestones to them. Tasks can also be assigned a priority level. Visual indicators include progress bars, green thumbnail outlines to indicate the project lead and project color-coding options.


Pre-built marketing workflows include an SEO checklist, an email marketing workflow, a workflow for setting up a website in WordPress and more. Users can also create and reuse customized workflows.


Additional features include adding new users with roles and permissions, including clients and assigning people to a project or task by dragging their thumbnail image to it. Users can choose different views, including the "flow" view, where tasks can be dragged and moved as they are completed.
