Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • I have had them all over the past years and this software covers all the bases. It is the best solution on the market at the best price point.
  • I am using EPIM pro for a long time and it comes as the best organizer to me. I really appreciate the task management efficiencies of the software. Overall feels great using the tool.
  • Excellent and stable applications for Windows and Android (iOS version not used so far). Easy-to-use and reliable synchronization via WLAN.
  • Cons

  • The worst part is simply the setup, not because the software makes it difficult though. It's just a process that you'd have to go through with any other software of this type.
  • I usually use a program for a year or two, get bored and then find something else. I've been using EPIM since version 5 or 6 and have no plans on changing my PIM program.
  • I miss a "transfer format" icon, because sometimes the format changes unintentionally to the standard "Times New Roman" format when writing e-mails.

  • Pros

  • It’s amazing what the opensource community has done with programs like Keepass. I came to KeePass as a sceptic and I was pleasantly surprised with how easy and straight forward it was to use.
  • Its an awesome tool and way more secure and reliable than letting your browser auto save your passwords.
  • Very nice tool to organize all your passwords for FREE. Works cross platform, which is great, and you can share access to a database for groups who need access to shared accounts.
  • Cons

  • The downside of being offline is the annoying update notification that comes up at times, very minor. Additionally, make sure you know your password.
  • The database is only local, so you can't use it in other devices, but the worst thing is that, if your computer is broken or stolen, you lost also the database and your secrets.
  • Their recovery if you forget your master password is terrible. Basically you need to start over with a new account if that happens.
