Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • I would recommend it to someone who wants to develop their note-taking skills. Increased quality and reliability would benefit both you and your staff.
  • Easy to use, useful, quick and pleasant setup. Support is good and i enjoyed my experience using the product.
  • It has been a lifesaver in terms of its use. Due to the length of use in our business, it hasn't been to our benefit to switching to a different platform with all our history of notes.
  • Cons

  • I don't like the lack of customization. Also, i hate that you can not put a folder into a folder.
  • The new re-write (v10) is awful, and forced me to revert to v6. Searching for a new alternative while v6 still works.
  • Some features in this apps on some devices are located differently, which can be confusing at times.

  • Pros

  • After using it for a week, I have texted almost all of my friends and partners to recommend it with a comment: "trust me, you don't know you need this tool" as I was thrilled to discover it.
  • It is easy to get started, the UI isn't complex, you can note anything without having to google how to embed things every 5 minutes. It has a great share feature and works pretty good on the web too.
  • I love all of the formatting options (to-do lists, tables, etc.) I also love that you can add some nice aesthetic features (custom header photos, icons, etc.) to each page to personalize it.
  • Cons

  • Android app is terrible, to the point that I never even use it. Sometimes the "blocks" don't work as intended and you find yourself with pages split in two.
  • It can be pretty slow to start up, and navigation has a lot of lag on mid-tier devices. Building and changing layouts can be difficult, and the offline functionality is sometimes limited.
  • I could not stop thinking into turning more parts of my life into ordered processes. I dumped my yearly account on Evernote right away.
