Pros
- Some of the best benefits of github is that they give some great perks to students with Github Student Pack which helps students grow without investing anything.
- It has a Very easy to use platform to help you find the script you need for any project. Tons of great scripts at good prices.
- The overall experience is great. I have been using Github since 10+ years now and the experience is superb.
Cons
- GitHub has been criticized for its user interface, which can be confusing and difficult to use.
- The only thing I personally dislike about GitHub is the merging capabilities and resolving the code conflicts. It becomes a hell sometimes while resolving the conflicts to merge the code.
- Initial setup for beginners can be confusing. Also, the conflict resolver is tricky.
Pros
- With the ability to easily scale applications as needed, Heroku is a great choice for those who need a reliable and flexible platform.
- Another amazing fact about heroku is that it provides good features in its free tier. It has a managed postgreSQL server which is really handy.
- I love using this app it really helps to provide good environment and easy to deploy websites.
Cons
- This will leave a bad impression on our side projects if potential users were to find out about it after it’s been inactive for sometime.
- There is no easy way of switching account, let's say you have a person account and a work account, also some errors are cryptic sometimes which makes it hard to debug what went wrong.
- Employees completely blew us off, and if they even did answer on some rare occassion, they woud send out derogatory and antagonistic communications.
