Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • A whole lot of great finds to fit every budget. Great when you are looking for something to help in a pinch.
  • Don't forget the issue tracking it's really fun to use and support markdown making it much more awesome. The community edition is really amazing with community support is marvelous.
  • I love the mobile app offered by this product and in addition to this it has a very user friendly UI,it is easy to set up and is free.
  • Cons

  • There are some features missing or not implemented properly in Gitlab + the lack of funding makes it ver hard to expand on Gitlab and use it full time.
  • Little tough to integrate from command prompt on windows or mac. I can't find any other defects or bugs in this software.
  • I would say that it is not easy to upgrade or migrate to a new server. If any function fails, the rest usually fail.

  • Pros

  • MyGet is one of the good 3 options for a package registry as a service in my humble opinion. That being said, I'd love to see more new features (or more communication) and better up-time.
  • MyGet is a unique service that provides hosted private package management for almost every platform available. It's amazing, easy to use and a great price.
  • MyGet supports all our needs while costing less than other viable alternatives. The ability to host more types of packages is a good plus point and we"ll most likely utilize it later.
  • Cons

  • MyGet billing and support was less than useless in fixing this problem since their poor response times helped drag this out.
  • Attempts to update the plan failed... it just wasn’t working at all. Over the last few months there have been several major outages that paralysed our workflow for considerable time.
  • I have also found that Visual Studio will sometimes refuse to install the packages if it finds the dependencies even slightly confusing.
