About Glasscubes

Glasscubes offers cloud-based collaboration solution for businesses. It provides for file sharing, collaboration and document management, making it accessible from devices with an internet connection.

Glasscubes’ file sharing module lets users store their documents in the cloud, while it’s online community facilitates knowledge sharing. Users can upload any type of file they want without size restriction and can share files with people who are not subscribed to Glasscubes by sending them a password-protected link.

This software features a "whiteboard" tool, where team members can jot down notes and attach images and links on a shareable whiteboard. Glasscubes also offers a buildable knowledge base, allowing team members to share information and questions in one location. Users can attach conversations to documents and make sure the relevant documents are associated with a project.

Pricing is based on the number of users per month. Telephone and live chat support are offered.

Pros:
Automatic reminders to clients is one of the best feature from Glasscubes. After which I can spend my chargeable time more on high value tasks instead of chasing the clients.
Cons:
After using this from last 1 year, there is nothing I feel in this software which is a problem for me.

Does what it says on the tin - a serious time saver for personal tax compliance

Compared to other tax software that tries to do it all, but ends up doing everything poorly (I'm looking at you, CCH), Glasscubes does one thing and it does it very well. Glasscubes automates some of the more tedious parts of client management for personal tax (chasing for information year round just for the client to send their information in January), and in my experience has led to some of our more last-minute clients sending information earlier than in prior years. Glasscubes also provides a space for clients to securely upload documents, and this space was clearly designed with the client in mind. When a client's documents are requested, they receive a request via email that gives them a text box and a space to securely upload relevant files and information - no login required!
Cons:
The only growing pains our team has experienced thus far is that the automated reminders, which generally save us time, can be a bit annoying if we forget to mark the info request complete in glasscubes. A welcome addition would be if you could query clients by client manager and if automated reminders could be suppressed through a simple tick box rather than needing to mark returns as submitted.

Reasons for switching to Glasscubes

CCH OneClick is bad and is very difficult for clients (and us) to use. Glasscubes is everything OneClick was meant to be with the added benefit that it is not lumped in with an already bloated piece of software.

Cons:
There are a few small aspects that I would like improvement on (e.g., the ability to delete/change your responses in a poll), but the Glasscubes team is very open to suggestions.

I like the simplicity. Everything is set up in a way that makes it easy to use and easy to manage my workload. I can see what I have done, what is on going and what is yet to be done which I find very helpful on a daily basis. I also like how you can easily view internal and recipient activity which supports managing my workload as it makes finding requests very easy.
Cons:
Sometimes when I back out of a request it'll take me back to the main menu which can be frustrating at times and even though I like that I can view internal and recipient activity, I think the service can be improved by being able to view what my colleagues / the recipient has actually viewed, submitted or uploaded as it would save time finding what has been replied to.

Better than originally expected.

We made the decision to try this software after having a demo. We are only a relatively small accountancy company so it was a sizeable investment for us. However, it not only does what we originally intended it for (an easy to use portal for clients to answer queries - they actually answer all our queries now!) but its been really helpful in managing projects with clients. We are very impressed with the whole system, took a bit of getting used to the workspace concept but we are now adding lots of useful features to our processes. Support is excellent. Customer Success Manager [sensitive content hidden] is a huge help and always on hand to guide us through getting the best out of the software. By far the best purchase in our tech stack for a long while.

Clients actually respond to you answer your queries instead of ignoring your emails!
Cons:
Wasn't keen on our first impressions of the workspace concept but know that we have a better understanding of the system and use the About feature to save clients contact details for each workspace its working really well.

The portal has been very useful since we started using this software. This portal has made it easier to receive information from clients when sending queries which was our intended purpose with this software. It has also been useful when working with new clients being able to monitor at what stage we are with the client.
Cons:
The only slight weakness is when adding information on a workspace, when inputting some information, it then sometimes shows an error about the link.

Errors occured quite often making it not very user-friendly.
