Glasscubes offers collaboration software for businesses. It provides for file sharing, collaboration and document management in the cloud, making it accessible from any device with an Internet connection.

Glasscubes’ file sharing module lets users store all of their documents in the cloud, while its online community facilitates knowledge sharing. Users can upload any type of file they want without size restriction, and can share files with people who are not subscribed to Glasscubes by sending them a password-protected link.

This software features a “whiteboard” tool, where team members can jot down notes and attach images and links on a shareable whiteboard. Glasscubes also offers a buildable knowledge base, allowing team members to share information and questions in one location.

Glasscubes automatically saves all versions of a document. Users can attach conversations to documents and make sure the relevant documents are associated with a project. They can then assign tasks to team members and mark tasks by priority level.

Pricing is based on the number of users per month. Telephone and live chat support are offered.

No longer having to search through loads of emails to find work or briefs

Pros

You can upload artwork and documents to individual jobs, so it's easy to follow the progress.
You get notifications when someone updates or posts.
Does away with loads of emails. Everything in one place

Cons

The interface is a bit basic but very user-friendly. You get an email notification even if you are using glasscubes. An email while offline would be better.

Huge benefits. Keeps my inbox clean. Quick, simple and easy to use. Breaks down the communication barriers with the rest of the team.

Pros

Keeps the communication channels open, allows mutiple people to track jobs and respond the status. Really quick with greta file storage.

Cons

If the internet is down obviously that cause problems. It can be quite glitchy as our proxy walls cause it problems.

Organisation, ease, fluidity

Pros

This tool brings organisation with ease.
Ability to tag colleagues and direct workflow to exactly who needs it. Later you can tag others bringing people into the mix at the required time.
Ease and Simplicity: It gives direction to potentially fragmented processes. Commenting on attached work really helps maintain focus on the job at hand.

Cons

i dont have it for my home life is probably my only con. i guess job numbers could auto generate but this is a minor issue that may be client specific.

A single place for us to find jobs and communicate easily with the whole team.

Pros

Staff are always at the ready to tackle issues. Everything was very easy to use from the beginning, and has solved a lot of challenges we've been facing tracking jobs.

Cons

It can be a bit buggy sometimes, but it's a work in process and issues are quickly resolved. It won't take long for it to be perfected!

Looks good and easy to navigate. Can communicate between people in lots of organisations. It's easy to upload large files that otherwise could not be sent by email.

Cons

It's hard to know what's in each folder unless you drill down into them all. I also get lots of notifications that are not particularly relevant to me that clogs up my emails.

It is good to know that i can send out a document securely. I can also send out a big file without having to break it up.

Pros

Great for when you are spread out within a region and everyone needs access to the same documents. New updates make it more user friendly.

Cons

Tricky at first, there is a lot of things you need to personalize which take time. For example, you would have to customize the workspace lists so that not everyone gets the emails. It takes time to set up but once you do that it is a good product

Customer service is really good - they offer help in a timely and clear way.
Easy to upload documents and to make comments relevant by tagging specific people.
I have amended my previous review due to my comments being answered (hence the 5 star rating for customer service).

Cons

It is a little clunky and could be a bit less cluttered visually. App not available on Windows phone.

In file management side, it provides file labeling for easy searching, as well as allowing users upload files via email. The overall user interface is easy to navigate, and the functions are quite sufficient for a team to work together efficiently.

Cons

Add functions for integrating with popular cloud storage, such as Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox.

It's extremely useful as somebody who works remotely.

Pros

The customer support is excellent, and once you've found your way around the interface and know where all of your documents are stored, it's a very useful platform.

Cons

It's not particularly intuitive and can be a bit difficult to navigate at times. I think for those less experienced with IT, the complicated style of the site might be a little intimidating and difficult to find your way around.

collaboration and internal communications has increased many-fold as people find it so easy to use.

Pros

I work for an international NGO and we have staff and Board members in about 40 countries. We were finding that our former intranet platform was no longer fit-for-purpose and 'clunky'. Our users were disatisfied, so we had to change.

We started testing out Glasscubes late 2016 and right away the support team have been answering our questions quickly. No question is ever too small.

We moved our intranet over to Glasscubes in April, with full launch in June. The platform is so user-friendly and we have seen a great increase in engagement from our global staff in the short time we have been using it. It is so intuitive. Many of our staff use Facebook, so they can figure out how to use it with miminal training.

The support pages are great and the live chat and admin forum are really useful for problem solving.

Highly recommended if you are looking for a collaborative platform.

Cons

This is more difficult to complete. Not being able to label mutlipl documents are a time is a bit of a pain - but the glasscubes development team is looking into a fix for this.

Easy of use. Simple to get to use even for novices of technology. Few bugs so far. The ability to use the latest version of documents but also seeing previous documents is useful.

Cons

Not being able to edit online. The layout is a little busy and you have to click on too many links before getting to the file you want.

An affordable and easy to configure product that met the organisations short term goal of having a product for a private social media/community area to work on projects.

Pros

Setting up the product has been simple and the customer support has been attentive and responsive.

The product will be used as a type of private social network for my organisation and it's most engaged members.

Cons

As with any product it requires a bit of work to get better but Glasscubes product has few of these. The ones I have noticed include document management is not yet as smooth as it can be as preview of Excel files is not particularly useful and busy professionals maybe put off by that.

I really like the clean and lean design of the user interface. It is very responsive and has a unique set of features. In-text search for documents, fully-fledged task management including time and progress tracking are features we really appreciate. The software is cloud hosted which makes it easy to use in-house as well as when travelling. User can be assigned to different roles and permissions can be restricted to certain areas only which makes it ideal to use for collaborating with clients.
Big bonus to a really fast and responsive UI.

Cons

There are a few features we have on out wish list which have not be implemented yet. We would for example like to be able to restrict access to the dashboard to certain users only. Also there is currently no offline file sync tool for mac available.

Easy task list creation and recording progress

Pros

A nice platform to use in the workplace, it is very easy to keep track of lists/tasks etc.
As a company we use this as a master task list, where we have all of our tasks subdivided into sections relating to our role within the company and then those tasks are assigned to us.
With regards to file uploads etc we do not use this feature as we should.
all together though, it is a very useful application and we rely on it to keep track of our tasks register for all members of staff.

Cons

I do find the compatibility with glasscubes vs windows is not at its best, for example you cannot copy and paste a number of tasks into glass cubes or vice versa as far as i am aware.
I like the feature of being able to download a report - although this does not come without errors in formatting for example - this should be looked at.
