ALM Quality center was the first project management tool I ever used and was pretty impressed at first. We can use it right from requirement gathering to defect tracking for every single step.

In our company we use test case for run and defect.

It only works on IE, which is the slowest browser and has the annoying habit of auto logout that is non configurable.

It does a good job, and it is easy to locate the requirements that you are looking for. Test can be set to be run for a specific release, and test results can be tracked.

The other issue, is it is difficult to track Enhancements. Any enhancements, unless directly corresponding to a new requirement, is difficult the other information about that enhancement.

Mapping all the way from Requirement to Test plan to Test lab and finally the defects.

Good tool to have a centralized place for your application lifecycle.

I love this tool for test Management and highly recommend to other if you can manage the cost. It’s an easy web based tool for requirements management, test planning, execution and defect reporting.

Overall good, for non-agile products especially. It is a quality product that doesn't run into problems or issues - very enterprise-grade.

Pricing of the Product is on the higher side discourages lot of customers shy away from it especially when there are other Low cost options available.

The ease of use with the tracking and the inbuild functionality of generating the reports.

I really dislike how it is only supported on internet explorer.

I like the ease of use with QC and it has end to end traceability. It is fast and reliable.

That is the only feature that I find a little awkward to use.

Sometime it failed to download components while opening in browser due to access level issue. Unfortunately, no support to major automation tool selenium.

I dont like that anyone on the team can accidentally mark your task complete.

Excellent experience, the tech support is terrific, online questions are answered immediately, most times a simple Google search results in your answer.

Best thing about the software is the ease of use.

It doesn't have some of the flashy features others might, but often those systems are super pricey, or don't work as advertised.

It takes a bit to constantly update the timeline when items are stalled in reviews/approvals, but that will be the case with any project management software.

Finding/navigating the time tracking task is a little strange.

Technical support has been excellent and Workzone staff check in from time to time to learn what else we may need to do our work better.

Customer service is great. The WZ team is always looking to improve their product and service.

Possess all the good features of MS Excel and MS Project, which have been nicely integrated into a nice simple layout. Allows to share documents and message across the team, good for collaboration.

My only complaint is that you cannot open tasks in new tabs on your browser.

I like the reporting capabilities for resource management and hours tracking. I like the functionality of commenting and emailing through workzone all associated with a task and/or project.
