Pros/Cons
Pros
- I enjoyed the pricing model and the scalability of the system. It has a friendly, straight-forward user experience that makes it perfect for bringing a diverse team into it.
- I have used just about every task manager available over the years and MeisterTask is definitely one of the best. Good customization options and a very nice GUI.
- It is clean, clear and intuitive which I need when I am organizing. I love the customizations and details that are available.
Cons
- I expected have more grafics, more etatistics, more features. Besides, I have had a worse support experience in my life.
- I was really bad at managing my own time and tasks.
- When offline, it fails as a to-do-list app. I would suggest for desktop user, it will store the project items locally & backup using cloud when the wifi is back on.
Pros
- The user interface is beautiful, love dark mode. You are able to customize this completely to help you organize all areas of your life.
- The interface is so polished, so fast, and super intuitive. I've been in love with the latest version of Things since its release.
- Better than Todoist, Wunderlist, Asana, Google Tasks. I love the tagging - this fits my specific needs perfectly, and the Getting Things Done methodology no matter how that works in your own workflow.
Cons
- I think I am still struck by some sticker shock with this app. Not only do you pay for the desktop version, but also separately for iPhone and iPad versions.
- A tool that is used to keep track of absolutely all my tasks NEEDS to be available everywhere I go. It is very sad to me that I can no longer use Things for this reason.
- Main reason why I moved away was because it's limited to Apple products only.
