### Most mentioned pros

- My overall experience of Microsoft To Do has been great is it helped me manage my lifestyle my business with to do tasks and deadline due dates it helps me keep everything organized and helps me.
- Since our company utilizes the Microsoft ecosystem on a global scale, the interface is clean, fast, and completely free for office suite users.
- The thing I like most about Microsoft is that it allows a space on my computer for all of my Outlook calendar events to be laid out in a neater/easier way to see and understand.

### Most mentioned cons

- The annoying part is when sync lags between desktop and mobile; now and then shared lists update slowly, and for client projects that tiny delay causes me to double-check everything.
- The collaboration features feel a bit limited. While I can share lists, it’s not always as seamless as I’d like when working with multiple team members.
- The thing I like the least about Microsoft-To-Do is the limitation in the app with regards to scheduling

overall it is very helpful as a quick task management tool. some areas of O365 are not fully integrated or not super obvious on how to use. i am hoping it integrates better with loop in the future, as i like to keep notes in there.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

it integrates with O365, making for an easier time getting my tasks from the places i do my work to the places i track my work. particularly flagged emails turning into tasks is a huge help

#### Cons

the program often seems to close itself, which isn't a huge deal but would be nice if it was a bit more stable. i also wish it was quicker to schedule tasks or keep things on the "my day" from day to day when i don't manage to finish tasks. i suppose that it's good practice to re-set my day each morning though

#### Reasons for switching to Microsoft To Do

to be honest, all share the same folly- you need to actually do the work. we use office so to-do is more integrated than most others.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

microsoft to do, offers an easy way to get all mas task combined and easy to managed in a single platform.

#### Cons

some times, its simplicity is something that do not actually help, it is like it is exclusively designed for simple task, because if you want to complete complex task in this softwaer somethimes does not help for those cases.

My overall experience with Microsoft To Do has been great. It has streamlined what was once a lengthy process and required people to be in the office to physically view the checklist and mark it off. Now, we can collaborate from anywhere! I can check in to see what has been completed, I can assign a task to anyone in the group, I can quickly check off what is done (and still view them, just with strikethrough text), it's simple to undo something if it was checked off by mistake, it's simple to add notes or attachments to each task. Additionally, you can set reminders, due dates, have tasks be recurring. Honestly, it's such a simple thing to add to your computer, but so useful. It has saved our management group a significant amount of time; something I didn't know that I needed but would now miss should it be removed for any reason!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

It's great that you can collaborate, assign tasks, keep track of dates, and check off items when they are done! It's an incredibly useful tool. We use to print out monthly lists to refer to, now everyone can make changes, review what still needs to be done, add notes, etc.

#### Cons

The think that I like least about Microsoft To Do is that all the tasks show up in my outlook program, even if they are not assigned to me. I understand the logic of it and some people might find this a great asset, but if the task is not assigned to me, I would prefer not to see it there and to only view it in the app.

#### Reasons for switching to Microsoft To Do

We would print these checklists out, so it would require everyone to be in the office to look at the hard copy, then re-print should any changes be necessary.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I most like the ability to create multiple groups, projects, and lists within projects that remain grouped together. For example, under my Pleasures Group, I can maintain a birthday party invite list from last year, and use that list going forward.

#### Cons

I tend to hold these groups, projects & tasks as long term lists, but it’s less useful as my day-to-day task list, for some reason….

#### Reasons for switching to Microsoft To Do

Because Microsoft To do was much more detailed and more flexible.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5

#### Pros

A simple yet effective application for organising and tracking your to do list. I like the integration with Microsoft Outlook where you can flag important emails and they'll be added automatically to the list. Perhaps this is the best feature in this app. I also like the ability to add tasks to Microsoft Clock app. This is very useful for my focus sessions because I can add specific tasks to my day and then find them when I begin my focus session. Might seem simple but the link with focus sessions is great and helps me mentally focus on certain tasks. The ability to assign deadlines for each task is very useful.

#### Cons

Not a big deal but it might be useful to make the sync button visible without having to click on the username

#### Reasons for switching to Microsoft To Do

Integration with Outlook and Office 265 and the ability to assign deadlines to tasks easily

- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Ease of use, integration with Microsoft 365, keeps staff updated on what's due

#### Cons

I'd like to see more dynamic options for recurring tasks. The rollover from Wunderlust could have been smoother. If you open the app from a computer you haven't used in awhile, the app does take quite a bit of time for it to update with all the changes.

#### Reasons for choosing Microsoft To Do

We are a small team and Microsoft was a cheaper and more simplified option.

This app does improve my efficiency throughout the day. I can quickly run through my schedule and tasks. I don't struggle to find lists and I can share straight from the app.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The app is fast and I was surprised by how well it works regardless of the device OS. I often use it on my phone and laptop, plus my coworkers can all use it as well. I like using To Do tasks and reminders because I can quickly write it up and send a copy to coworkers. The block style organization feels very efficient to me. My screen is easy to look at and I know what to expect when I open the app. I usually tap "My Day" to see what I have planned for that particular day. I like the ability to add attachments and steps, plus grouping tasks in lists. Ability to choose a custom theme doesn't hurt. Also, it's free! No charges at any time.

#### Cons

Natural language input is something that is lacking and noticeably so. There is no paid version with more features to upgrade to if you'd like. What you see is what's available.. As I mentioned before, I like the organization but I wanted to slightly adjust the filter/view and it turns out that is not an option. It would be helpful to isolate items approaching their due date or even past due.

#### Reasons for choosing Microsoft To Do

Microsoft To Do is free and easy to implement without the need for everyone to learn how to use it. It is simple and straightforward. Asana on the other hand is more complex and wouldn't have been as easy. Thats why I made the decision.

#### Reasons for switching to Microsoft To Do

It simply was not very easy to use and it was a paid subscription vs the free app here.

What I love most about Microsoft to do is it’s a free app, easy to use, easy to schedule and follow. This app has truly made my life easier. From creating deadlines to checking off daily tasks completed and keeping everything organized.

### A good and simple task manager but not for power use

An easy to use, close to hand and simply designed To Do list with a more limited task and project management capacity. Great for getting started as a basic to-do list, but not quite suitable for power users.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

One of the most accessible and in-built to-do list tools available as stock with the Microsoft Suite. You will find it built in to Outlook across desktop and iOS Apps. This makes it feel close to hand and enables easy task management and collaboration across teams.

#### Cons

Whilst it is built in and close to hand, the thing I like least is how quickly the number of tasks quickly gets out of hand, or where, task management becomes more difficult. I would like it more if you could more easily group tasks into categories and visualise them across timelines.
