About nTask

nTask is a cloud-based task management solution that caters to small businesses and individuals. It provides users with tools that enable collaboration with team members, task management, meeting scheduling and more.

With nTask, users can assign tasks, generate progress reports, set recurring tasks, share files, attach files to tasks and generate checklists. Gantt Charts help users monitor project schedules. The solution also enables users to plan and monitor budgets for different projects, allot resources, define risks and issues and monitor team members' time spent on different tasks.

Additionally, nTask supports integration with Google Calendar and Outlook, which provides meeting management and calendar management features. Mobile applications for Android and iOS devices are also offered that enable remote access.

Services are offered on a subscription basis that includes support via phone and email.

Less Price but equal features

Overall nTask has increased the productivity and transparency of my team. Every project and task for every team member is on nTask and they are responsible for their tasks.

Pros:

The feature that was most helpful for my team was Meeting management. I could see easily what my team members were doing and if they needed my help anywhere.

Cons:

One thing that bugged me was the coming soon featured sometimes took so long.

The post-it note style task board is easy to focus on and inhibits project overwhelm.

Cons:

I've had issues with editing the project description when I didn't make the task but I imagine that is a permission issue.

Not suitable for a team of more than 50 people and the app lacks advanced reporting features.

The ease of collaboration and the ability to upload documents is great way to share information and artifacts.

Cons:

It would be nice to be able to replace uploaded documents with a single click instead of deleting the old document and uploading the next rendition. So maybe integration that ties to document history

Great for organizing tasks across teams.

nTask has helped me organize monthly projects with my team. I love that I can set up checklists so we always know where we are on each project. The comments feature for each task is great for improving communication. I have reached out to support with questions and they responded within minutes with solutions. Support was outstanding, friendly and willing to help with anything I needed. I'm happy I found nTask. It has really helped me stay on top of my projects and feel more organzied.

Pros:

nTask is easy to set up, easy to understand and perfect for setting up checklists and to-dos across teams. It only take a couple of minutes to create a task.

Cons:

I don't like that the calendar view starts on Monday and I am unable to configure to start on Sunday. It would also be nice if you could configure colors for each task in calendar view based on project type.
