#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Il vantaggio principale è la perfetta integrazione con l'ecosistema Microsoft 365, che permette di collegare note, email di Outlook e documenti di SharePoint in modo immediato. L'organizzazione strutturata in blocchi appunti, sezioni e pagine è estremamente chiara e imita perfettamente i raccoglitori fisici.

#### Reasons for switching to Microsoft OneNote

To much sophisticated for my usage and sometimes there are problem for the integration with other Windows Software

it serves as a strong option for flexible, low friction information capture and organisation. it works particularly well for mixed media, collaboration and for environment already embedded in 365/Microsoft.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 2/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

A strong app for free-form notes; allowing mixed-media notes (i.e handwritten input, sketches, images and clips etc). Being part of the 365 ecosystem is supports strong collaboration and integration with other MS tools, and provides easy organising through notebooks; sections; pages; tags and more.

#### Cons

It doesnt feel as well-structured as other dedicated note or KB tools, which could pose a problem i9f seeking explicitly defined databases, rigid workflows or formal information architecture. It is perhaps not the best choice for users seeking strong control over xync behaviour or advanced document formatting, and is stronger as a note capture tool rather than a process, document management and presentation platform.

#### Reasons for choosing Microsoft OneNote

Microsoft have provided too many products with similar functionality so it's ultimately a bit of a gamble between what others recommend and making a choice in that respect- here, planner and Notion came ahead

My overall experience with OneNote has been great. I have always been a person who takes notes and minutes for all my meetings, and I’m most cases, I would write the notes in my journal or notebook, only to find that the book gets lost or damaged along with all the notes and minutes. Ever since I moved to utilising OneNote, it has been easier for me because I always have my notes and minutes handy whenever I need them and with the customisation functionality, it’s easy to find all the notes and it’s easier to share them with workmates if you need to. I’m very happy with the value I’m getting from OneNote and it’s something I’ll continue to use.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

OneNote has helped me a lot in taking notes for all my important meetings and learnings. I love the fact that I can customise all the different pages with different sets on Notes and it’s very easy to customise these, easy to separate them and easier to access when I need it. It makes my life easier in finding the minutes to all the meetings I have as a sales person. Things can easily get lost if you’re not documenting them and that’s where OneNote has fit in my day to day life as a sales person

#### Cons

There is nothing I do not like about OneNote. It serves the purpose and it’s embers easy to use and cheaper as well.

### OneNote: One Note to Rule Them All

This software has given me a lot over the years. I've created instruction notebooks, I've used it to compile tribal knowledge and support new hires, keep meeting notes, and share what I have learned and know with those I work with

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Versatility - this software provides little constraint on creativity and helps bring your desired visual layout to life. Notebook organization - Having the ability to organize thoughts and tasks using the sidebar and pages features is a powerful yet simplistic way to keep things where you can go back to easily. Hyperlink capabilities - I find these tasteful for managing multipage notebooks as you can utilize it to jump to specific pages that deal with what you're after or redirect you to a resource you found that you want to revisit. Like using the "Heading" styles in Word when generating a table of contents. Microsoft Compatibility - The integration between OneNote and other Microsoft Programs like Word and Excel is definitely not something to scoff at. From converting tables to Excel sheets to OneNotes extensive file compatibility makes it nice and convenient to put and access everything in one place. Sharing Notebooks - This has been game changing as it has generated a lot of credibility for myself and appreciation from my peers to be able to share the knowledge I've generated through the years in an easy to navigate medium.

#### Cons

I wish there was a function that allowed you to lock items in place once you get them where you want them. Too often do you get the look of your page where you want it and start adding the meat and potato's to only accidently select a text box or picture and undo the work you did in the initial set up. The table feature would be nice to have some integrated depth like basic cell merging/splitting. I understand that you can convert the table to a spreadsheet, but it's not always the most efficient. I wish they would add the option for one additional subpage. I feel this addition would provide the perfect level for sorting/organizing.
