Tracking project progress and time is the only thing this is good for. Heaven forbid you forget something and you have to start all over.

If you are a small company, the assigning of resources can be frustrating, as we are an all hands on deck organization, so resources are often double booked, which can create confusion in OpenAir.

The software is fairly streamlined to be able to move quickly and process recurring tasks in such a way that non-accounting staff can be comfortable in the UI too.

The drop downs didn't toggle well and data would have to be refreshed all together to get the correct information in the drop down in case you wanted to see a different client.

NetSuite OpenAir is an excellent solution that combines a comprehensive approach with convenience.

This software is cumbersome and rigid, and there are so many simple functions that it can't do that it's hard to understand why wasted their time making everything else so complex.

The customer service is AWFUL - long waits to talk to people who are reading from a script. Their online help forum, SuiteAnswers, is equally bad.

Rather negative - the company I worked for, a Marketing agency, really should not have selected OpenAir.

OpenAir is user friendly and integrates with multiple in house systems.

It’s a great tool to manage projects, resources, submit timesheets and invoice clients.

It has a great repoting feature that provides great insights about the project progress.

Setting up the same timesheet over and over again is a bit of a chore. There is no memory of what you did the last time you used it.

Overall, we have been pleased with the performance and functionality, as well as the support response when needed has been great.

I have had no dealings with Uniphi, but I request minor tweaks on a monthly basis, through our graduate QS who is in contact with Uniphi and these changes never seem to happen.

Inability to S-curve cashflow forecast for contracted items.

It generally provides good storage of documentation. The ability to develop and use templates and contracts is useful.

UniPhi is a fantastic tool which integrates a variety of project management and cashflow tools.

It's single major flaw that UniPhi refuses to address is the inability to tie contract phasing to project schedule lifecycles.

Change management can be difficult (with any software deployment).

The cashflow is a disgrace. Numbers change by themselves.

I find the customer support to be excellent in terms of. A) speed of returning our telephone / email requests for assistance.

Great information, reasonably quick and easy to use.

Their developers have been terrific and very understanding when we have recommended changes or found issues they have been dealt with promptly and professionally.

Online approvals are great. Instant approvals are good.

The flexibility of UniPhi software is excellent. It gives the ability to tailor workflows specifically for each process, making them as strict or lenient as required for each part of our business.

The application is extremely user friendly. We love the UniPhi system approach of using one piece of data in multiple ways - no duplications.

I like the way UniPhi allows data which has been entered to be reused many times (e.g. adding budget information, and having those same dollar amounts included into key project documents and reports).

There has been a number of training sessions in the office and online, and the implementation of the client champions in our office really helps the ease of use for the software.

The software support team are very responsive and always resolve any issues within a quick timeframe.

The customisation options are numerous. The data in UniPhi is brilliant for understanding what the team is doing.

Setting up a project or new client is quite tricky until you understand how the software works, the different tabs etc can be confusing.

The terminology such as snapshot, I find this confusing.

The reporting is woeful and does not provide our organisation with the data we need. We are using spreadsheets to report financial data instead of Uniphi as we cannot get what we need.

Sometimes you have to refer to 3 or 4 to get the data you need. For eg there is no 1 report that tells us.
