Pros/Cons
Pros
- I would totally recommend Pivotal Tracker for project and task management. It's an amazing value for its price and it can be as powerful as you want it to be.
- Outside of the tool itself, the Tracker community and blog are great resources for best practices as well as learning about how other organizations are leveraging this tool.
- The feature set is robust while the UI is intuitive. Our team has built some great product features by using Pivotal as our mode for keeping the team focused and aligned.
Cons
- Sometimes i see too much information in my screen and i fell lost. The person who configures it must be very organized.
- Pivotal tracker has a poor pricing structure and only be used in agile projects.
- You can do a few clicks to move them, but the drag doesn't always work.
Pros
- User friendliness and ability to pinpoint projects easily and time associated with each. I also like being able to transition ownership based on the stage of the project.
- That it is really user friendly; never heard of Ravetree until I began working at The Bookkeeper. Wonderful tool to track and prioritize tasks.
- The comment section of RT is where I spend most of my time. I love the ability to comment and tag people directly in a conversation.
Cons
- I have trouble finding tasks that I have marked complete. If i don't know the specific name it's hard to find them.
- The lack of stability and the appalling support.
- It's a mystery why that aspect of PM is so neglected by many other apps.
