Project Office is basic and easy to use Project Management tool
This is a really nice project management app. The value for my money is there and I have no regrets buying this application. Great work!
PROSTotally fulfils my expectations, I can quickly and easily create Gantt diagrams and incorporate them into my specifications and concepts. All the basic functions I need are included: critical path, network diagram, baselines.
CONSThis tool is not perfect, but it is very easy to use and feature rich.

New user findings
I think this is discussed in the least things detail above
PROSonce I found out how to use the software after several weeks of trial and error the final results of com putting the time line and total expenditure was a great tool for me as the technical director to play with the budget and maintain the overall Capex.
CONSFound the software very difficult to get used too and the user guides available not of much help to a novice. I had to find out the best way of using the software by trial and error. I was spending every day for four months working a min mum of 12 hours and on several occasions 36 hours with only food and toilet breaks. I have a Apple Mac Pro 2017 and the computer was very slow in processing the changes. I had waiting times of up to 60 minutes to process a changes and have the update complete. When the resources changed between activities not deflated to the highest valued and if this was low then the changes took many hours to complete. I was building a modular refinery with total capital cost of $45 million and I needed to increase my ram memory to around 64 GB to quickly make these changes. I believe the new man pro would solve this problem. It did take made some time to get used to the software and waiting time between changes. I am not a professional planner but have used gaseous planning tools for 40 years in project management.

Product
I love the product and I wish it can be optimised. I have been forced to go back to Project Libre
PROSIt is easy to use when I love it. I also like the fact that I can export into another format. However, I will be happy if you can introduce a feature where a list of items say from excel can just be pasted. Also if you can provide a feature to reset the ID number ( The numbering continue even after you delete a task).
CONSthe product can be slow especially when updating the interface. It feels like the update happens on the same thread as the UI hence I have to wait for a sec to get the UI updated. This usually happens when you are updating the date from the UI
Reasons for switching to Project Office
Wanted something better but Project Office has become slow I am not sure if it is the update.

Simple, effective, and inexpensive scheduling application.
Pleasantly surprised at the app's usefulness in small non-complex projects. For the cost of the app compared with other similar products that I have trialled it is a no-brainer. I still believe that there is a gap between 'To Do' type apps and fully featured scheduling apps, where the non-expert or home user can set up simple projects for [say] home of garden and track them over days or weeks. Could this be done in 'Project Office' by having a Preferences panel that allows the user to 'turn off' unused options and thus simplify and speed up its use.
PROSI found the app easy to start using compared with many other similar scheduling apps which 'drown' the new user in complexity. If you have a professional scheduling background you may be 'underwhelmed', but for small to medium-sized projects with not too many tasks and dependencies this could be ideal.
CONSLack of a good user guide either on-line or as a downloadable pdf. Occasional bugs which may be 'ironed out' in latest release. Some small awkwardnesses in functionality.

Ease of Use
It was easy and useful
PROSIt was easy since there are less constraint/data to be supplied.
CONSThere might be few projects to be combined into same file, or other files to be consolidated somewhere. If I have 3 projects at the same time, I need to install them into same file. This prevents to prepare a default template for fixed durations for processes, every time I need to implement them from beginning.
