This software allowed me show customers what we have done to pull together all the work that they have done and show customers. It is easy to start and has been a normal task each day and/or project to use.
I have ran into some minor issues that were pretty frustrating but the customer service has been great and all issues I have encountered so far have been resolved and I can move on with my day.

Once you get the hang of it, it combines the right level of simplicity with true functionality. This makes the tool relatively easy to get started with and quickly has become part of my normal routine. I also enjoy the ability to bring up the entire board and talk through all the events going on to help drive organizational meetings. It's been helpful to breakdown and visually represent all the work the team puts in to get things done for our customers.
There were a few hiccups in getting started, mainly that some of the items weren't intuitive. I've suggested more right-click functionality and a few enhancements around sorting and filtering. The response from customer support has been great and they've actually pointed out that some of what I've suggested is part of the tool!

It's a to-the-point tool for managing and tracking the tasks of projects.
While competing products are overly feature-rich, too customizable, and feel bloated, STARS is a very sharp tool with a single purpose. STARS is extremely fast, simple, responsive, and fairly intuitive. It is a well thought-out system, delivering the features you NEED for task tracking with excellence.
Categorization and grouping (i.e. grouping tasks by projects) could be a little easier to understand.

I've tested many project/task management tools, from JIRA to Trello, and what I like about STARS is the ability to assign parent-child relationships between cards. This offers a lot of versatility in project management if you have projects that have disparate taxonomy, since it allows both traditional flat Kanban style task association as well as projects within projects. One of the other things STARS does well is not burden the user with excessive data entry. There are few fields to maintain on any task, and it's really up to the end user to decide how those fields fit into the business process. Lastly, STARS has a traditional unique id on each task/project, which diverges from some more hip project management tools that make individual task tracking inconvenient. So it is great if you have multiple teams that do not share the same management solution, but still need a paper trail of task ids to pass along between them in communication.
