Time Doctor is a cloud-based time tracking and management solution used by businesses for monitoring workforce productivity. It offers tools for time tracking, web activity monitoring, payroll management and reporting.

Time Doctor lets users enter time spent on each project and calculate their billable and nonbillable working hours. The screen monitoring feature reports on employee activity via screenshot captures. The solution can also help users to keep track of the time spent on chats, meetings, calls, internet usage and other activities. The payroll functionality allows businesses to record employee working hours and generate weekly and monthly payslips.

A mobile app is available Android and iOS devices and the platform also integrates with various project management and accounting software including JIRA, Salesforce, Basecamp and Slack.

The solution is available on a per user per month subscription basis and offers multilingual customer support via email, phone, live chat and online help desk.

Pros

I really like both web and application dashboard of Time Doctor, it's so easy to understand.

The warning I get whenever distracting sites like Facebook, Youtube are opened is so accurate.

Time Doctor helps me to effectively manage multiple users.

Time doctor customer support response is superb

Cons

I discovered one cannot remove/delete the initial card used for payment, after I added another card details, one should be allowed to remove the card when needed.

The frequent pop up notification, I wish it can be managed.

It's costly for a small scale.

An OK time tracking tool

Based on what the purpose of this app is for, I think it does it's job. The only thing that could be updated is the UI.

Pros

I use this to keep track of how much time I spend per day on specific and everyday tasks, to know what I have been spending most my time on vs what I should. Since I work on multiple projects each week, it's nice to know where my priorities should be, and if I am keeping up with them.

Cons

The UI is very outdated, and I wish there was better integration with Apple products.

Well the experience with time doctor is very good.over all its a good application to remind everything especially meeting time with clients and time for work out and etc

Accurate and easy to use!

Wonderful overall experience! Defiantly would recommend to any business owner small or large! Cant go wrong with this Software program!

Pros

The best part is that it does all the work for you. Provides details of where time is spent by any employee. Keeps track of time, logs hours, and all data entered into software by any employee at any time! Keeps track of all your employees and what they are doing makes it easier for you to spend time on other more important task. Keeps an eye on the productivity of your employees.

Cons

I honestly can not think of any negative things to say about this software program! For the use and the price you are not losing anything! Only gaining wonderful insight into company!

A good software for freelance.

As a freelance, this tool has all the features I need for give prove of my work. Compared to others, they sometimes have some features but not others or viceversa, so this has all the things I need and with a really good price.

Time Doctor helps you track and be accountable in a good way!

Pros

It's so easy to use. You just download it and it's right there. You don't have to go through a lot of different steps to track your time. It's seriously just a click of the button. It helps keep you accountable, too.

Cons

It can be hard to remember to use it sometimes, but that's not a software problem. It's just remembering to do it and integrate it with other work flow.

Great Productivity Platform with stellar customer service

Pros

Great product, great price

Pros

This is one of the easiest programs for freelancers to use. Love it.

Cons

The reports don't allow you to only download the decimal times. It gives you both the dcimal & the hours/mins which add more work when trying to copy and paste from XLS. . Client only wants total total time in decimal not in hours, so I have to copy and paste on a seperate spreadsheet.

Spent a lot of time researching - Time Doctor won out

After using my own spreadsheet to record my time use for some years, it became cumbersome and there were the inevitable "holes" in my tracking. After researching and using various software packages to track my time I settled on Time Doctor primarily for its ease of use. After using Time Doctor for a number of years I am very satisfied with my choice. Not only does it accurately track my time use but it also helps me to stay "on target" but I'm also able to quote my projects more confidently knowing how long my projects actually take. The entry of tasks is quick and easy; the breakdown of tasks in various reports is also a great benefit.

Pros

Ease of use, timely reminders, concise reports

Cons

Can't think of anything; my overall experience has been very positive and wish more software was as easy to use and as reliable.

Was brilliant until recent changes/improvements..

Up until recently I would have said 'brilliant, what a difference in my life'. Right now I'm looking at other options while I wait for the support team to send emails back and forth..

Pros

I have loved using timedoctor and referred many people to it. It has been amazing in helping me keep a track of time spent on different projects with numerous clients. It was also easy to go back and amend time if I had forgotten to change the activity when starting a call etc. Easy to use on the iPhone app while on the road.

Cons

Help desk and all interactions used to be via chat. That seems to have stopped - sadly!
Recent changes have introduced a number of bugs that have made this month intolerable. I am really frustrated that a tool I had come to rely on so heavily and which has been a crucial part of my business management and billing process is failing.
