I purchased timeBro because I kept forgetting to log my hours. At the end of the week I was guessing more than actually knowing how much hours I put in every project/client. I was actually suprised (not in a pleasant way) how much some tasks took to complete. Using the statistics to analyze my time, I have managed to make adjustments and cut time in my ways of working. So much insight since using timeBro & no guesswork is no longer needed!

I would love to have the choice to change something to the memory aid. It shows the total amount of time and then the percentages of the specific tasks. I would prefer the actual time tracking instead of %. So that I can log the actual time per task instead of needing to figure this out myself.

TimeBro is an excellent application for time tracking. It is fast and easy and links to Harvest which we use for our time management and administration.

I would like TimeBro to be even more automated: predict the projects from the previous data.

I work for short periods on multiple items for multiple clients and without timebro, its easy to forget to log the time involved when I switch between, and lose hours. With this you won't. It is basic compared to the competition but the tracking itself is really accurate, which is the most important part (for me at least).

I have no complaints about the software. It lets me see my time easily and quickly.

It has allowed me to make smarter decisions in regards to my time. Were the 10 minutes spent on social media worth it? How long does it take me to write my weekly newsletter? Well, it turns out that it takes longer than I thought. How long does it usually take me to research a new fantastical setting and what were the sites that helped me do that most efficiently? I know now because I have a history of time spent. These data have made it possible for me to know just how much time I can expect to burn on a short story (so I can say yes or no to an invite) and decide if it's worth the cost to my ongoing novels and projects. It has made me realize that word-count alone is not a reliable metric and that's why no matter how many 2000-word days I got in, there seemed to be so little actual story progress (hint: it's because typing is not writing). It has helped me pinpoint which part of the day to spend doing the brain-heavy stuff and which parts are better left for those times/days when I am lagging.

I love the fact that it allows me track which apps and documents I work in. At any one time I may have my manuscript open in Scrivener, 10 browser tabs for doing research, social media interaction and so on, as well as project management software like Aeon Timeline, and chat apps with other authors or with readers. I feel like I'm going in a dozen different directions at once because I am. I used to try to keep track of how much time I actually spent writing, but it was impossible to parse out that after ten minutes of writing/typing I'd open up a search window so I could look at a picture of futuristic furniture on Pinterest to put into the scene I was working on. TimeBro captures my hopping between actual writing and other stuff (like looking at images or figuring out what someone looks like). It helped me distinguish between productive writing sessions and unproductive ones, as well as how much of an impact my editing process had on final word count. Now I know that the next time I have a 120K-word manuscript edited it will probably take me 50 hours to go over the edits, because now I have a way to track that. Same with the time spent on copyedits, going over alpha-reads, galleys, and so on. I had no clue how much time I was spending on these other-than-writing activities before. Not even close.

I do wish I could track the time spent in individual scenes (sub-documents) in Scrivener so I could know how long a specific scene took to write and that it would auto-assign categories based on which document or app I was in. I'm hoping those features will be available soon.

Overall experience is excellent.

TimeBro keeps track of screens I have open and since I always have a dozen things open at once it shows me which screen I was engaging with. During my normal workday, I may start working on something and receive a call - so I have to quickly pop to another screen, and then another, and then maybe jump on a meeting, all before I get back to what I was originally working on. This can all happen multiple times a day. I've worked on billable time for over 20 years so I am meticulous about my timekeeping, but on those days where I'm pulled from task without notice TimeBro helps me keep track of time I actually spent on things.TimeBro helps my team in a few ways: 1.) We are able to keep track of time we spend on project related tasks so we can properly bill current clients. I have loaded our projects/tasks into TimeBro so we are able to produce timesheets and import them into our ERP system. 2.) This data also helps us, very accurately, budget for new projects, and that is a huge win for our client because we are able to provide reliable project estimates. 3.) TimeBro reports would great documentation of the actual work time on tasks if we ever needed that kind of documentation.

TimeBro is a game changer for me. I love it. If I could improve anything ...? I'd love it if TimeBro could know when I'm in a meeting (start and stop times on Teams, Zoom, and google meetings). It knows what's on my calendar and it knows how long I have the zoom/teams/google open - but if I end a meeting and walk away for a minute it does not know that. It would be super nice if TimeBro could record when the meeting is ended.

I still lose some time with the final export. I really need a chronological order of the time spent. It exports everything in order of the projects which is not how I'd like to get the final document. Bit of a hassle to manually do this in excel at the end. However, still saving time.

Tracking my time is crucial to my business for billing and estimating. timeBro tracks every minute so I don't have to. Simple reporting makes it easy to see how my time was spent and what software I was using. Highly recommended.

The only issue I have, albeit minor, is I wish there were templates that could be set up when creating a project. I break a project into several tasks and adding them every time is redundant. Let me save the tasks for next time.

Vorweg muss ich bemerken, daß ich mich ausschließlich auf Apple Geräten organisiere. Lange habe ich gebraucht, um ein fähiges CRM Programm für die Apples Welt zu finden. Nach langen Recherchen habe ich mich dann "Daylite" (von Marketcircle, CA in Deutschland von iosxpert.biz vertrieben.Über die Mitarbeiter von iosxpert bin ich auf timeBro aufmerksam geworden. Diese Entscheidung diese Software als Zeiterfassungsmodul war sehr schnell getroffen (wegen der Integration der Stammdaten aus "Daylite" in Time Bro. Das Zusammenspiel funktioniert super. Meine Stammdatenverwaltung spiegelt meine "Projekte" (meine Akten) in timeBro, so daß diese sofort zur Verfügung stehen. Auf die "Akten" (= Projekte) werden dann die Zeiten gebucht. Die Auswertung erfolgt über "Daylite". Die Abrechnung über "FastBill"! Die Daten aus timeBro werden zuverlässig zu Fastbill zur Abrechnung transportiert. Alles funktioniert so, wie ich mir das vorgestellt habe. Mir leistet diese Software supergute Dienste. Ich bin vollauf zufrieden.

Einen kleinen Nachteil möchte ich nicht verschweigen: Ich habe derzeit ca. 500 offene Fälle (= Akten = Projekte) an denen ich arbeite. Wenn eine Akte abgeschlossen ist, kann man sie auf timeBro stilllegen, damit dort keine Zeiten mehr gebucht werden können. Wenn nun die Aktenbezeichnung mit "Z" beginnt (also in der Liste der zur Verfügung stehenden Projekte, auf denen Zeit gebucht werden kann steht, dann braucht man unglaublich lange, um zu diesem Datensatz zu navigieren, um diese Akte stillzulegen. Das ist etwas nervig (Vielleicht gibt es ja auch einen Workaround, den ich nur nicht kenne!).

Ich möchte diese Software nicht mehr missen. Nicht nur die Abrechnung meiner Zeiten ist dadurch wesentlich einfacher geworden, sondern auch die Möglichkeit zu analysieren, mit was ich dann doch meine Zeiten wirklich verbringe (auch gerade mit "nutzlosen" Tätigkeiten).

Genial sind der Zugriff auf meinen Kalender, so dass Besprechungen leicht Projekten zugeordnet werden können. Außerdem ist der Austausch mit anderen Werkzeugen wie MeisterTask und mite gut gelöst und sehr einfach bedienbar.Ich habe schon immer eine ehrliche Abrechnung betrieben - seitdem ich diese Software nutze, fällt mir das allerdings viel leichter.Zudem liegen die Roh-Daten bei mir persönlich und nicht etwa in einer Cloud. Niemand kann diese Daten nutzen außer mir selbst und das ist mir sehr wichtig. Ich entscheide dann, was ich mit welcher Zuordnung an wen kommuniziere und in die Cloud (nach mite) hochlade.

Die Übernahme von Projekten und Tätigkeiten aus mite ist ein wenig frickelig. Hier hatte ich aber eine gute Unterstützung durch den Support und komme damit seitdem auch gut klar.Etwas störend finde ich, dass ich nicht mehrere Tätigkeiten markieren und in einem Block zu einer Tätigkeit zuordnen kann (beispielsweise die Vorbereitung, die Durchführung und die Nachbereitung einer Besprechung markieren und als XY zusammen einem Projekt zuordnen kann).

TimeBro ist absolut durchdacht... lässt sich leicht benutzen und senden keine unerwünschten Daten nach Außen.

Die Software ist absolut einfach zu bedienen. Jeder Arbeitsschritt lässt sich transparent und vollautomatisch protokollieren und in Verbindung mit Daylite kann ich endlich eine lückenlose Zeiterfassung für meine Projekte realisieren.

Schön wäre es, wenn alle Einträge automatisch in meinem privaten Kalender (egal ob iCloud oder Exchange) landen sodass ich diese zwischen mehreren Systemen synchron hätte. Somit könnte ich tagsüber beim Kunden mit dem MacBook arbeiten und Abends am iMac die Zeiten erfassen und dem Projekt zuordnen.

I have been working in the agency business for 20 years and have tried many tools/timetracking tools to increase my efficiency. None has worked as relaxed and smoothly as TimeBro. Unfortunately, in the past I was always too inconsistent to continuously keep track of my times, but since I started using TimeBro I just start working and always have the perfect overview! I also use the Moco integration, which is how I found you. All in all, chapeau and many thanks for this beautiful piece of software, which I use daily with enthusiasm and recommend with pleasure!

I am a huge fan, I hate writing hours. Always forgetting minutes to bill without timeBro.

The tracking of all MS Office software activities is remarkable. And glad Spotify or Itunes is ignored.

Like a feature to be able to copy projects. Most project have the same activities. And a a consultant I have multiple projects monthly. Takes time to create a new project which only the customers name difference.

I do a lot of proof-reading and copy-editing of articles submitted to our psychology journal. I need to keep track of which edition I'm working on and which author's article I'm editing. timeBro allows me to keep all this categorised easily.

It tracks my time without me having to start or stop it.

I can't think of anything lacking. timeBro seems to have everything I need.

timeBro does exactly what I would want time-tracking software to do as a consultant. I love the side-by-side display of the calendar with intra-day activity on the left pane, and the right pane that allows you to easily drag-and-drop your project time allocations appropriately. The Timesheet is very easy to use for reporting and billing to clients. This has saved me so much time. I would highly recommend to anyone needing more accurate and faster time reporting.

No major complaints. The price seems high relative to other time tracking tools with additional features (that other users may think would be helpful). However, I love timeBro's simplicity and ease-of-use and it does exactly what I need.

We found that it had become challenging for some people within our agency to log their time due to the variety and complexity of their work. This system has enabled us to automate this aspect of their role and take away the stress and unknown nature of where their time is spent.

Automatic time tracking feature is excellent, showing exactly what is being worked on at a given time.

TimeBro is the tool you need if you want to record what you did during the day. Here is shines and give you detailed information. It is also non-intrusive and keeps all records locally, so people you the tool do not have to feel tracked or monitored.

TimeBro still needs to improve a lot regarding UX. It is a clumsy tool when doing any editing... so I try to use it a little as possible. This actually implies that I am probably only using like 20% of its features and cannot be bothered with any of the extra's. As long as they keep the price low, I will most likely keep using it.

What i like the most of automaticaly tracking my time is tha i can see in wich window i am working. it gives me a lot of insight in my own behavior. Integration with calenders. and classify time on projects specific

Easiness of use. off line recording. Very analytical recording of what you do.

Needs more reminders. In a day (or days), that you do not fill the info, might be difficult afterwards to come and remember what to fill in.
