Khalil Review

PROS

The facility and the flexibility of setup, and ease of use for administrators and final users.

CONS

Nothing. All modules used were simple and efficient.

Reasons for switching to Triskell PPM

The specific program was done by the SFR development team with an old version of Oracle and not supported by Oracle.

My use of Triskell PPM

We have constructed two solutions : - a project portfolio, in which we had two types of portfolio (build / run) - a ticket portfolio We have always succeeded in doing what we need, without specific developpement. All you need is to know what you want to obtain, and then organize the objects in Triskell to do the job.

PROS

The security of the data (you can encrypt the data). The look and feel of the solution, that you can totaly adapt to your need. The ease of creating the screens, and modifying them, without loosing anything.

CONS

You need to anticipate how you will grant rights in your solution, and sometimes it's not easy to change, although it's not impossible.

Reason for choosing Triskell PPM

Planisware was too expensive for our needs and we wanted a solution that didn't need any infrastructure.

Reasons for switching to Triskell PPM

The Excell files were too big and difficult to maintain. The solution was starting to become unstable, we risked losing data at any time.

Triskell

It is a basically easy to use tool that helps the team accomplish our basic PM needs.

PROS

Triskell helps to manage our project portfolio and calendar, and also enables us to ensure all projects have gone through the appropriate enhancement request approval process that we require internally.

CONS

It can be a bit clunky and the user interface is not super clean. It could be better in terms of integrations with other software, especially CRM.

Most adjustable PPM tool on the market

A great product that evolves with time and incorporates various customer needs into its roadmap.

PROS

Triskell precisely reflects how your business operates. Like many other tools on the market, the modules/objects created are not based on a "Project" model with unnecessary features. Indeed, each object/module will have its own features, its own life cycle, and its own attributes. Everything is configurable and adaptable. From Security and role management, creation of objects and sub-objecst to infinity, to the establishment of an organization at scale. Overall, Triskell can do it all. It's kind of the Swiss Army knife of PPM tools. Moreover, everyone benefits from version upgrades at the same time. No versionning of product : everyone has the same product.

CONS

It does it all, but occasionally falls slightly short compared to certain tools in the market dedicated to specific functionalities.

Reason for choosing Triskell PPM

The ability to adapt the tool to the evolving needs of my company.

Effective and Pragmatic Portfolio Management

PROS

The underlying concepts are very powerful, allowing you to gradually adapt your implementation to the growing maturity of your teams. You can support both project activities and BAU activities to track your activity without having to twist the solution as in many other products (by creating dummy tasks to support time tracking on BAU for example).

CONS

After years of use and numerous recommendations during my consulting assignments, I haven't found any significant drawbacks.

Reasons for switching to Triskell PPM

In general, because these systems were very heavy and costly to maintain.
