Excellent all-in-one software for small and medium-sized business project management

This is a perfect solution for small and mid-sized enterprises looking for end-to-end project billing software that enhance collaboration. Most project management and time tracking software will have A/R. We sampled a lot of applications and VatPay is the only software we found that allows you to pay your independent contractors while collaborating with them on projects.

Pros:

VatPay not only has very effective tools for team collaboration like projects and time tracking, but also has great reporting tools as well. The platform also has built-in billing and invoicing tools. This is the first end-to-end platform for managing your projects, converting billable hours into invoices and paying your independent contractors all in one spot. The application is highly intuitive and very user friendly and I strongly recommend it to all SMEs.

Cons:

The project billing part of the application is good. It would be nice to have a scheduling system to book appointments with clients and capture them as part of the project artifacts.

Reasons for switching to VatPay

ExpensAble was too expensive and not fit for purpose.

Best Payment gateway & invoice solution for small businesses & freelancer

I was already happy to grab this software in the first place. But during the meeting with [SENSITIVE CONTENT], all the case scenarios I submit to him, he showed me how to solve these: for example how to make a business proposal using "estimate" feature, or how to copy/paste the link of an invoice into the browser so the client can process a purchase using credit card or Stripe or PayPal & much more... There's even new features like project management that we didn't even have enough time to talk about, but I will play around to discover it. And if I'm stuck [SENSITIVE CONTENT] told me to reach out to him for help or feed back. To wrap this up: go grab your Vatpay subscription, this software tool is intuitive; simple of use; nice UI & UX; very versatile & complete as a Swiss knife, you won't regret it ! I just had a zoom meeting with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] &, oh boy, it was scheduled for a 30 minutes meeting but it last 1 hour: he took his time to show me all the features I didn't knew about.

Cons:

There's no negative comment to say about this because, they ask for feedback, in order to correct potential issues, and their adding new features according to what customer tell them

Not so good...

It was glitchy, it didn't function correctly, it would undo transactions or settings I put into place, I couldn't connect the app to their own payment processor (WePay by Chase) and they had a difficult time doing so as well. When I finally decided to go a different direction out of frustration with trying to get their program to work, I requested a refund. Guess what, they have a 30 day refund policy and I was a couple of days too late requesting the refund, never mind the fact that I spent 30+ days of my time trying to get their crappy software to function as advertised, that's irrelevant, they won't give me a penny back.

It seemed like it was was going to be a comprehensive solution...it was just window dressing.

Cons:

1) didn't function correctly 2) undid my settings 3) the system overwrote random categories every time I tried to edit one 4) glitchy 5) had difficult time connecting the payment processor that they recommended 6) after wasting 30+ days of my time trying to get it to work they wouldn't give me a refund.

Reasons for switching to VatPay

I was looking for a solution that worked better than my previous solution, as it turns out, VatPay didn't work at all.

We will like to start by thanking you for your review. But we think your assessment of our Software is based on anger after we refused to issue a refund outside of our refund policy window. You were kindly informed that you've passed the refund window of 30 days money back guarantee and we were willing to work with you and give you a discount. But since you were only interested in the cash, you decided to channel your frustration online by tarnishing our online reputation. Unfortunately, you were out of the refund policy period and that's why we didn't issue a refund. Our Support team contacted you on several occasions to find out what's wrong with the software but you didn't acknowledge any problem with the application at the time. All you wanted was your money. GetApp has to take action and take down this review because non of the the things you said is true. Your review is based out of frustration of not getting your money back after our refund window.
