### About vPlan

vPlan is a planning tool that helps advertising agencies, production companies, support, and development teams with scheduling work orders, viewing roadmaps, team collaboration and more. Users can plan marketing activities with a drag-and-drop interface and include colleagues on important tickets. It includes an overview, notifications and automation capabilities.

Using vPlan, businesses can manage each process and customize the schedule, track the capacity of resources, such as employees and machines as well as share and communicate schedules quickly within the shop floor. Teams can process tickets with bugs and issues, schedule developers and support staff and gain insight into planned work. It lets organizations can set up work orders by defining a date field or serial number.

vPlan allows users to set up their own pipeline and apply sales and purchasing processes. Orders can pass through different, self-organized statuses to improve tracking. By adding information to tickets through a checklist, employees can access the required information to deliver orders on time.

Great tool!

It's not only a tool specific to schedule process, but you can receive and combine a lot of different data from it, to plan capacity, to see the booked ours, make analysis from the booked data, plan several projects at the same time, in the same UI as the UI of a single project et cetera.

Pros:

The tool gives very much insight and a good overview. Furthermore it's very user friendly to work with. We use it to schedule the process of our architectural buildings we build as a contractor. It's also possible to invite other parties, so the collaboration is smoother and every party does know what and when it has something to do.

Cons:

We do not have any cons, it's perfect for us, an exactly fit in what we need. We do very like the user interface and the ease to use it.

vPlan gives more data and more insightful information in a better user friendly interface.

We gebruiken Vplan nu ruim 1,5 jaar voor onze productieplanning, gekoppeld aan Exact en onze shopfloor software. Na dit succes zijn we nu ook bezig met de inrichting van Vplan voor onze projectplanning.

Pros:

Het systeem is stabiel, intuïtief en duidelijk ontworpen met de gebruiker in gedachten. Door de goedwerkende databank van Vplan kunnen veel instellingen en aanpassingen zelfstandig worden uitgevoerd, wat ons flexibiliteit en controle geeft.

Cons:

De koppeling tussen Exact en Vplan had iets meer tijd nodig dan van te voren gedacht/gepland. Echter was dit niet ten nadelen door Vplan.

Sportverlichting door vPlan op een hoger niveau

Je bent uiteindelijk zelf verantwoordelijk voor de werking van vPlan. Het is niet zo dat vPlan maar alles voor je doet, waardoor je in een gespreid bedje beland. Het is belangrijk dat je het zelf inricht en zo ook begrijpt hoe alles werkt. Uiteindelijk moeten wij zelf de beste werkwijze hierin vinden. vPlan biedt wel enorm veel handvaten - en daarom ook 5 sterren - om het naar jouw wens in te richten!

De integratie van Exact werkt uitstekend.Daarnaast werk je nu met één werkbon, waardoor je niet herhaaldelijk bezig bent met het invullen van informatie. Dit voorkomt fouten & onnodig werk.

Cons:

Je moet zelf tijd en energie in vPlan sturen. Dit wordt wel duidelijk van tevoren gecommuniceerd!

Reasons for switching to vPlan

Ondanks de mogelijkheden die zij hebben, is het moeilijk om dit in te richten naar wens.

We werken nu een tijdje met vPlan. We hebben dankzij vPlan inzicht in de planning en voortgang van onze projecten. Zo weten we precies van elkaar wie waar mee bezig is en waar we capaciteit te kort komen. Zeker aan te bevelen!

Wij hebben nog niets kunnen ontdekken, alles van communicatie tot aan uitvoering loopt zeer soepel en professioneel

\- Door vPlan krijg je veel meer overzicht: wie doet wat, wanneer en wanneer is diegene daarmee klaar - Je kunt snel reageren op veranderingen: Mocht iets langer duren kun je mooi alles opschuiven, of juist iemand toewijzen die erbij helpt om de deadline alsnog te halen - Je kunt mensen berichten sturen op specifieke kaarten, zodat iedereen direct weet waar het over gaat - Je moet nog steeds zelf nadenken over de planning en haalbaarheid, maar je ziet de voortgang en problemen van een project wel direct

Pros:

Ik werk nu een tijdje met vPlan en ik moet zeggen dat het echt een handig programma is voor het plannen van werk en projecten. Wat ik vooral fijn vind, is dat je in één oogopslag kunt zien wie wat moet doen en wanneer iets af moet zijn. Het ziet er overzichtelijk uit en is makkelijk te gebruiken. Een groot pluspunt vind ik dat je alles kunt slepen op de planning, dus als er iets verandert, pas je het makkelijk aan. Je hoeft niet telkens alles opnieuw in te vullen. Ook kun je meldingen krijgen als er taken binnenkomen of als iets bijna af moet zijn, dat helpt om op tijd te blijven. Daarnaast werkt vPlan goed samen met ons andere programma. Als er een opdracht akkoord is dan komt deze automatisch in vPlan te staan, waardoor je meteen ziet dat er actie vereist is voor deze opdracht. Je kunt hem inplannen vanaf het begin: Bijvoorbeeld op deze datum gaan we inmeten, wanneer kan je dan komen monteren? Dan sleep je het kaartje erin bij inmeten en zie je direct vanaf wanneer het gemonteerd kan worden. Het werkt ook andersom. Als een klant aangeeft dat ze het op een specifieke datum of week gemonteerd willen hebben. Je sleept het kaartje dan op de montagedatum in de planning en alle andere kaarten worden terug gepland, waardoor je direct ziet wanneer er uiterlijk aan begonnen moet worden! Al met al super handig en overzichtelijk! Ik werk er graag mee!

Cons:

Het grootste nadeel blijft discipline van de werknemers. Dit is niet zo zeer een punt waar vPlan zelf iets aan kan veranderen, maar wel een groot ergerpunt. Als de werknemers een kaartje binnen vPlan niet op gereed zetten, dan blijft deze open staan en kan het ook invloed hebben op vervolg kaartjes. vPlan heeft goede manieren om dit te voorkomen, bijvoorbeeld met meldingen etc. Maar dit blijft toch een punt waar we heel erg op moeten hameren.

Veel meer overzicht en een duidelijke planning door het toepassen van V-plan

Wij zijn erg tevreden met V-plan. Het vergt wel enig geduld en discipline om dit eigen te maken. Wanneer je eenmaal op dit punt bent ervaar je meer structuur en duidelijkheid.

Ten opzichte van een fysiek planning heb je overal beschikking over je planning. Daarnaast zijn last minute wijzigen eenvoudig door te voeren.

Cons:

De snelheid van het pakket kan nog wel eens haperen wanneer je naar een langer tijdspad gaat van bijvoorbeeld een maand.

Dat ik vPlan voor veel verschillende doeleinden kan gebruiken. zowel het echte productie proces, de social media kalender, het creatieve proces, de sales funnel en nog meer :)

Cons:

vPlan heeft veel automatisaties, maar soms net niet het exacte wat ik zoek. Maar ze hebben wel de mogelijkheid om dit op een forum te zetten zodat ze dit eventueel kunnen gaan toevoegen aan de software.
