Zoho BugTracker

Very good, it does the job

PROS

At present, I m on a basic plan, but the premium plan offers more feature and I am looking forward to that one

CONS

The software is not giving may QA Process oriented option while creating a bug. Also exporting bug is not working the way the user wants

Bug Tracking and reporting so simple.

PROS

Zoho Bug Tracker is a great example of such a solution. This solution allows you to create a web form that helps you submit issues. Attached to the client. Its ease of deployment and ease of use was something we saw so far. The ability to add details to each issue is also very wide, you can track the status of your issue with a single click.

CONS

Configuration is quite limited, these external users also need to be able to add more functionality and flexibility.

Versatile and Fun

We get high engagement from users because its a fun and easy to use systems. We have adapted it to something it wasn't even designed to do and it works great.

PROS

Bug Tracker is fun and easy to use. We like the kanban view and the flexibility of the tool.

CONS

I do not like that I get more users in the free plan than in one of the paid plans. I also need more reports and customization.

Zoho Does it AGAIN!

PROS

Zoho has a unique ability to look at problems and create solutions for companies from a workflow point of view. They don't develop products which are half thought and/or applicable to one industry. They TRULLY create SOLUTIONS. The zoho bugtracker is a perfect example of such a solution. This solution allows you create a webform which is connected to the client side to help collect issues. Then in the dashboard assign users, projects and tasks. Track the progress and let the client track it all along the way. And this is probably only 18% of its full capabilities.

CONS

The only thing I would like to see is the webform pick up the URL automatically.

Bugtracker a great tool

My experience is greatfull, and for all my team is a really nice platform.

The thing that I love the most is that is a tool very simple and easy to use, and with a huge potencial for the daily work in a project.

It is a great solution for bug tracking

PROS

When I first started using Zoho Bug Tracker it got way easier to manage and plan new product updates. You can easily divide between new product updates and bug fixes

CONS

There is no mobile app and for a team that is working primarily on the go it is and essential part for creating new bugs

Powerful features with Simple interface

PROS

I use it regularly and never felt anything lacking in this app. It is loaded with powerful features. I have been using it for more than two years and not paid a penny yet. It's free for small teams but pleasantly exceeds your expectations.

CONS

Though nothing much to complain, the look and feel is a bit too functional. Would love interesting bits in design here and there.

Increased productivity

PROS

Very fast custom views and a user-friendly dashboard to manage bugs. the feature I liked the most is their kanban view of the portal it gives ease of use in tracking bugs. Increases the productivity with predefined privileges for every user and hierarchy.

CONS

It is on the little pricey side than other bug tracking solutions. Doesn't have the mobile app. It doesn't provide the mobile app.

Efficiency for connecting Support and Projects areas

Great experience, helps keeping an accurate record for each area on its own tools.

PROS

It establishes a link between Support and Projects areas in our Company: The tickets that our Support area receives through Zoho Desk are sometimes a problem or an issue that relates to a specific project either active or completed by our Projects Area which uses Zoho Projects to keep a record of all projects. In this case the attention of this ticket is often provided by our Projects area, and each area needs to be able to visualize, register and manage the requirement in its own tool. By using BugTracker our Support area still keeps an eye on these kind of tickets and register its development in Zoho Desk, while passing the requirement to our Projects area leaving a link between both tools (Zoho Desk and Zoho Projects); meantime, our Projects Area registers this "issue" attention related to the specific project, and keeps an accurate record of the projects history.

CONS

When you register the time spent on the attention for a Bug in Zoho Projects, it doesn't automatically updates de time registers of the linked ticket over Zoho Desk

Excellent value

PROS

I've used many different bug tracking software packages over the years and Zoho is a good as any of them and is excellent value for money. Free version is full featured, paid versions are very good value for money

CONS

Not as intuitive as some other SASS products out there, but nothing to really make me have second thoughts about recommending the product. Usability is always one of my key requirements for software (if its difficult to use, people wont use it and its a complete waste of money) and it passes the test.

BugTracker has really helped move our development process along

BugTracker has been a huge help in organizing our development efforts, and integrating non-technical users into the testing process.

PROS

It does everything I need to capture and track bug/issue info and once it's set up, it's been easy to get our less-experienced users on board and comfortable.

CONS

We are currently just using the BugTracker, yet it's tied into the bigger Zoho projects application. As a result, it was somewhat difficult to initially set up, since it wasn't always clear what was actually needed and relevant to our use. For the same reason, it's been necessary to instruct users to ignore certain menu options, etc. since we can't just turn them off.

Excellent Bug Tracking Tool that Does The Job

We needed software to allow us to identify problems with configurations to our clients.

PROS

There are many tools that allow you to capture bugs and issues. Zoho Bug Tracker is one of the very few that is easy to use, and to the point. The clutter is kept to a minimum and it is efficient to use.

CONS

There is nothing really negative, however it would be nice to have a custom URL for accessing the Bug Tracker.

excellent tool to manage projects

we are managing an important project in collaboration with multiple teams working remotely. the use of this tool greatly facilitates both our work and the developer's work, avoiding misunderstandings and waste of time.

the ability to upload all the bugs is priceless

compared to trello some integrations are missing which would make the instrument even better
