Pros/Cons
Pros
- I love that they are keeping up on the time. It helps to have it at our fingertips no matter what.
- Cloud Based, very well thought out and designed, excellent search, good quality accounting, excellent only help.
- I've overall enjoyed this system and surely don't know all the cool things it does. I appreciate any education on how to better leverage the tools it offers and how to do things more efficiently.
Cons
- We have to pay them back and it can be very frustrating for them as they have to wait days for their funds.
- This causes havoc for us as some tenants with due dates other than the 1st get charged twice in the longer months.
- Integration with other software has been a challenge. Marketing reports are not as detailed as a result and that is a problem with larger properties where marketing data is entered by many.
Pros
- The messaging and profile features have been very helpful for improving our team communication and quality of service for our guests.
- He answered any and every question I had in a nice manner, he made me feel comfortable with any kind of questions I had.
- I just like the way all the options are laid out at the top of the screen making navigation very easy and seamless. We take calls each day from guests wanting to book rooms and find out availability.
Cons
- The cloud version has little errors and mistakes, including spelling errors for warning messages. I don't think VM hires the best web developers and their cloud PMS makes that obvious.
- Also...the inability to click and drag the length of maintenance blocks.
- Training was very confusing at first even with the videos. I found that the demo was difficult because it was not reflective of how we would use our system.
