Pros/Cons

  • Pros

  • The support team is fantastic. I was new to this software (or any type of law software) and received no training. They have been wonderful any time I've had any type of question.

  • The lawyers liked the software when it worked, and it satisfied all of their needs and requirements. Updates were easy and straightforward to install.

  • Cons

  • There have been a few glitches that needed software updates. But the support team is always available and resolve any issues quickly.

  • We always have problems with our updates each year. Abacus is really good about fixing it but still a pain to have to call tech support to get it fixed.

  • Pros

  • The software is very user friendly and very flexible. The reporting is fantastic as well.

  • It saves time and allows me to communicate with multiple people at one time. It's easy to use and access from multiple devices and locations.

  • Cons

  • The fact that it is very flexible is a blessing and a curse. It gives our users too many ways to do something and we lose consistency in process.

  • It can get a little buggy and time out on you but that's rare and the problem usually goes away fast.
