Cons

They have excellent products to offer to businesses and customer support services for the installation and errunds. They just need a market among competitors.

Save your money.

Pros

Project management is ok, the rest needs a lot of work

Cons

Syncing from Desktop to online does not work at all as we were told.
Getting the reports we need is difficult unless we want to pay to have additional reports done.
Accounting side is awful. A lot of work still needs to be done. Not as advanced as we were told.
Tech support has been awful. Have had numerous issues in which no one can tell me what the problem is. Reported syncing issues 2 months ago and still have not gotten an answer.

Billquick Solution

Pros

Billquick is a reasonably user-friendly solution to time clocking on big projects. The software enabled us to be able to accurately bill for all of our hours worked with printable reports to support the data.

Cons

Customer service leave a lot to be desired. We weren't able to get anyone on the phone that could help us for over an hour and eventually solved the problem ourselves by rebooting the interface. The mobile app is not even worth downloading.

Hands down the best value for your money to any billing software

Pros

I enjoyed the easy to use guide and help functions throughout the entire software when any issue came up.

Cons

Not really too much to complain about. Other than the cost is a little higher than other comparable products .

Good product for project management

Pros

It has a full range of functions including time & expense tracking, project management and billing etc. The customer support is helpful if you have questions during set-up or operation.

Cons

The product is a little pricey compared to the similar products, especially for a small company. And if you have a large scale, complex project to manage, there are better project management software out there.

Pros

This software covers many areas needed in our law firm. It has project management as well as billing, data analysis, and time tracking. You have the ability to get the info you need at your fingertips and also can give you a detailed report!

Cons

Price is a little higher than comparable software but all in all it is a great tool! If you are not paying attention you can really mess things up.

Great accounting software with excellent features.

Pros

Bill-quick is a very good cloud based business management suite. It Project management, billing, data analysis and time tracking features. Quick preview or detailed history on customer details, vendor details and all their payments.Easy customization of billing template with company logo and other details. There are some other great features like budget management, employee salary with complete payroll features, auto billing, purchase order and much much more. Also has a android version app which make work happen on the go also.

Cons

Since its cloud based app one must be online all the time to use the app. But its not much of a con but there are many accounting apps which work offline also. Subscription is little high compared to other apps.

Super easy with lots of options!

Pros

Billquick is super easy to use, and there are so many report options there. It was a relatively seamless transition for our team to do time keeping and it gives us a great overview!

Cons

Can sometimes be a challenge to change projects IDs, if something has been entered in incorrectly. But overall satisfied.

Pros

BillQuick is a powerful timekeeping and invoicing program. We chose it as our preferred invoicing software as it provides the ability to customize client and project details.

Cons

The amount of options and customizations possible can also make the program difficult to navigate and master. I recommend utilizing customer support when needed.

9 months into our migration to this new software and still not willing to cut the cord from our current accounting software

If you are a single division company the migration to this process may be an easier process. But for our seven division business, making the move to BQE has been nothing less than a nightmare. Way more time spent than I expected (which is compounded by the fact that it is time I don't have). The fact that BQE is California based, effects their customer support efforts to those on the east coast ...at least in my experience it has. Be sure to spend a lot of time testing the software before you buy...I made the mistake of buying it based on their sales communications (which you be offered a lot of deals and promotions of the bells and whistles the software has)..I find that it is not easy to use and have found that my clerical support flat out hate using versus our current, more intuitive accounting software.

Pros

It's easy to get sold on it's capabilities and functionality. Real time dashboards and remote access to timesheets via any electronic device are very nice touches.

Cons

Despite being told it would be an easy transition, it has not been the case. Software is not nearly as intuitive as current software (QB), for my needs had to buy a report writing software (SAP) which also requires training. First time through with data conversion on four of our company files, two came back incomplete and wrong, one came back with our project structure flipped upside down, and we never got back the fourth file which may be because it was for a Canadian entity and despite being told they know how to handle the tax issues faced in Canada, we did not have that confidence in them, and we have yet to see the first run through of the data conversion three months after uploading the file. Customer support is also not as responsive as I'd like and I would say working with them is just another negative issue

Not what we were looking for.

We were looking for something more in the lines of project management, but stumbled into Billquick. It's not what we were looking for, but their support and some creative thinking has made it work for now. As we expand, we'll need to change.

Pros

This program is great for bill keeping, simple employee time entry and organizing projects. Their support staff will assist you along the way and are genuinely caring and helpful to issues.

Cons

Billquick is not the best for organizing large projects. If you want to create chain-events with notifications you will be upsold on additional services. Creating and cloning a project can be a bit daunting.

Great Integration with Quickbooks

This software has a great integration with Quickbooks and is a great too if you want to track the employees cost hours for each client/project

Missold Software!!!

We were missold this product advising us that it could do more than it can! They believe it can do all this stuff but constant bugs and errors make it impossible to use.

Agent add on for automated reports etc is a terrible system and only works Intermittently

Bill Quick is not user friendly

Pros

What I like most about this product is that I can call support and get great help. You are very lucky to have your staff!

Cons

Not user friendly. Missing many functions like being able to email multiple reports from 1 screen
Finding invoices or dollar amounts should be as simple as having a "FIND" icon and inputting a dollar amount or invoice number or vendor name

Worst Experience Ever! - Save your money

In general, I invested a lot into this program, training, and Administration (not including my own time). I got to a point where we wiped the slate clean so we could start over as we were told many of our issues were operator error. I got on the phone with support and informed them of a single contract/project I wanted to enter. After I explained the contract I was again told the program cannot do that. There is a "work around" or it can be sent to the Tech Dept for an additional fee. SAVE YOURSELF THE WASTED MONEY AND TIME!!!! Go with Praesto AE instead.

Cons

The Program is clunky and counter-intuitive for me. I could not get it to function as I needed it to. This program may work for a firm that only has a single phase of a project, but, dealing in multiple phases seemed beyond the program. That is unless you wanted to use a "work around" or pay additional fee.

Bank Transactions cannot be downloaded, so they must be manually entered. Not cool!

I would definitely say BillQuick has made our life easier. It is very easy to use and handles our time and expense tracking on projects. Integration with QuickBooks works really well and it saves double data entry. Whenever we need any help their customer service has been outstanding.

Cons

Cannot think of anything. We have been using BillQuick for 7 years and whenever there has been an issue with the software BQE has been there to support us
