Deltek Vision provides critical business data in real time through role-based graphical dashboards, customizable reports and alerts. With Deltek Vision, firms manage all aspects of financials including AP, AR, budgeting and revenue recognition with support for multi-currency and multi-company.

UI/UX Review

Deltek has allowed me to quickly keep track of my time sheet. Unfortunately it installs as a desktop app and is not yet a simple browser-based experience. That would go a long way in making the software easier to use and more accessible.

Pros

I really like that the software allows you to log in and see past pay stubs and benefits without having to ask our HR team.

Cons

I think the software is a little clunky to install in that it will sometimes be blocked in windows and other times it has to install seemingly out of no where even if there are no apparent updates.

Pros

Deltek is an ok CRM, relatively easy to customize once learned how the tool works

Cons

We tried some other tools and found Deltek user experience was not the best compared to other products

Best Time Tracking Software

Pros

I've used multiple competitors of Deltek Vision and none have been able to match it's superior quality, look and feel. One of the best in the business.

Cons

There's almost too many features! I wish I knew how more of the interfaces worked.

Deltek is the best!

Deltek has been a great way for me to stay organized with my sales pipeline. I recommend it for anyone who wants a simple but useful sales tool.

Pros

I like how easy Deltek is to navigate. I am not computer savy, and this has been very easy to use.

Cons

Deltek seems to be slow to load at times.

ALL-IN-ONE, WEB BASED PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Pros

Our team used Deltek Vision to manage time and expenses, demand forecasting, data visualization, resource allocation and others. It is broad in a sense that it has so much application and it offers far more widely than just time and expense management. Deltek Vision allowed our team to work simultaneously through this product. Our documentation of our resources is easier with Deltek Vision.

Cons

Deltek Vision is best used by someone with experience regarding the software. It is a little complex for beginners. Our team learned how to use it to increase productivity.

Glitchy

Pros

I like the sidebar with categories for time-sheets and expense reports. It makes navigation easy.

Cons

The software is extremely particular. For example, it won't let you have a blank line in your timesheet - you must delete the row entirely. This can be annoying when you want to log on and off quickly, but are running into hurdles like that.

Overall it works well and is basic and easy to use.

Pros

It's easy and straightforward to use. You can look up old timesheets and it prompts you to check over your work before you submit.

Cons

I wish more features would save. Typing on repeatedly is tedious when most of it is the same information.

Not impressed

we submit our timesheets on Friday and they do their server work on fridays as well. this shuts the service down and won't let you submit timesheets on Friday. who's idea was it to do server updates on Friday when most people submit their timesheets?

Pros

The Iaccess online variant is easy to use but not as intuitive

Cons

it really takes a while to get used to. its got lots of quarks and not intuitive.
Overall layout design can use some rework. Like the buttons on the right are too hidden and not obvious how to add remove rows.

used this at an architecture firm in the new business department. it was great to track leads and projects, and for churning out reports

the software needs a refresh. it just seems so outdated. i think my company initially implemented it in the 80s

Robust, a bit clunky

Pros

There are so many tweaks and options in this software - it can do a wide range of functions from balance sheet accounting, payroll, and project accounting

Cons

The interface is a bit dated and cluttered. There are a lot of options I wish I could hide

Ability to file expenses and time sheets. the ability to detail time entries with comments, the querying job function that imports jobs from the database

Cons

Some of the manual look ups are tedious and not connected properly, searching by text or project number rarely finds the correct project.

Somewhat Inadequate

Pros

Not Much to say here, entering timesheets is somewhat easy but the time sheets aren't processed and updated in real time.

Cons

It is difficult to pull running list of projects based on time frames or other parameters. Very unintuitive to use! There's not much room for customizations to track different metrics on project by project basis.

Ability to run reports in real time to view key metrics, tracking profitability, tracking timecards

Pros

Ability to customize reports, the intent of the dashboard (to auto-populate key reports), window into accounting for aged AR and invoicing.

Cons

Auto-titles for built-in reports are counterintuitive, and generally there seem to be bugs with the search function across several of the categories (accounting, projects, etc.). We use this in tandem with iAccess, and there are often clear discrepancies when running reports/viewing the same project across these two platforms.

A dinosaur of a program, but does what it's built to do.

This is good at collecting data, and relatively easy to use.

Pros

I do like that this program is super customizable, has a ton of functionality, and comes with basically it's own help team. Pretty easy to use once you get used to it.

Cons

There is so much going on, it's hard to figure out it's capabilities. The filtering on it is super specific and sometimes makes it hard to navigate.

Its a great simple to use software.

Helps me easily keep track of my hours and view what my deductions are.

Pros

I like that it is easy to use and works well for time keeping. Its a nice way to keep track of my pay stubs and see what my current salary is and what deductions are happening.

Cons

I like the software, but I don't think my company uses it to its fullest potential. I can't see any of my employee information and seems like it could be a tool that allows me to see where I am at in the company with just a few clicks, but its not used that way. Seems like a very expensive timekeeping tool.

Terrible user interface...

Pros

This software is really quite powerful, and definitely a necessity when working in the architectural and engineering industry.

Cons

I would have to say that my biggest concern with this software is the user interface. It's truly terrible and looks like it was designed alongside Windows 98.

Somewhat clunky way to keep track of timesheets and expenses

I am able to submit my timesheet and expense report and track what I worked on each week.

Pros

I like that I can copy timesheets from one to another, lookup info about projects. I also like that is pretty easy to learn.

Cons

I find the interface to clunky and hard to adjust or customize. I dislike that the full version only runs on windows explorer. The light version just doesn't have the capabilities. I also find that it takes surprisingly long to load.

This product was very easy to use for time entry.

Pros

The mobile application was very user friendly and easy to use. Navigation on the PC and app was also very easy.

Cons

There could have been more useful tools such as being able to copy time from one pay period to apply to another.

Phenomenal support and very expansive software set

Pros

Very responsive, very good support and never ending modules to make employees lives easier. We are currently using the Time and Expense mobile apps with little to no challenges. Setup took a bit of work but support was there ever step of the way. Any problem is corrected within hours instead of days.

Cons

Due to the complexity and versatility it is not as point and click for install or use as some other products. This is a very welcome trade off for me and my company as the benefits outweigh the cons.
