SimplyBook.me is a cloud-based scheduling solution designed for service businesses in multiple industries. It provides a booking site so that users can accept online bookings, collect client feedback to optimize revenue and service performance and send email and SMS appointment reminders to both service providers and clients.

The tool allows users to send out promotions, set up recurring services, link service providers or select services and customize options for the booking site. Customization includes adding the booking system as an iFrame or adding a booking button to a website or Facebook page.

Clients can access the booking page from multiple devices, make bookings and can cancel bookings when required.

Service providers can synchronize their personal google or outlook calendars to their SimplyBook.me booking calendar. The solution provides booking widgets for Facebook, WordPress and other CMS systems. Pricing is based on a number of bookings and number of chosen custom features.

    I am very happy with this tool. When ever I have a question, I get a qualified answer through the support inbetween minutes or hours. People are very kind and helpful.

    Pros

    I like the the templates for the booking page. The handling is easy. The backoffice contains alot of functions.
    Even with a free membership, i have lots of options to set up your booking calendar very individually.

    Cons

    I did not like that I have to renew my free membership every month.

    Really good booking system, but different story if you use stripe as your payment processor

    it can do and handle bookings very well
    flexible modifications and rich in customization

    Cons

    It claims that it integrate with stripe, BUT, your stripe wont be sending email receipt as simplybook did not integrate this properly and actually refused to fix this. SO, either you change payment processor, or change booking system. Alternatively, you need to find workaround to handle receipt to customer.

    This has been great, I have been stuck a few times, but after a very quick chat using the chat help function, I was able to solve the issues and move forward.

    Very customizable, I was able to add in various forms for the clients to enter.

    Overall I can only recommend this booking system.

    Pros

    It´s very easy to use for the admin, as for th other users. It gives you a lot of extra plugins.
    My costumers are very happy and the system works perfectly well.

    Cons

    It would be great to be able to ask my clients just for a deposit of the total price. I hope you can make it happen soon. Also, the possibility to include a TPV from my bank as a payment option would be great.

Hopefully that will be added within the next few months. Regarding the TPV then what you can do is to allow people the option to "Allow delayed payment" and then add your bank details to the confirmation e mail.     The ease of use, appearance and features along with good pricing was what made me subscribe, however after doing this and having an issue with the layout I contacted the help team and with their super speedy suport this made me even more satisfied I'd made the correct choice!

    I did reach out to customer service to ask if there was any help for our company (who does deliveries) to schedule days versus a time. The gentleman who helped me was very courteous. He suggested using the all-day allotment, which would work ok, however, to keep customers from getting confused, was not what I was able to use.

    Pros

    I was looking for a program that I could embed to our website and allow customers to schedule delivery appointments with us. This program was easy to use and very clean looking. I loved the look on our website, and that it would send confirmations to our customers.

    Cons

    Our delivery business is based off appointment days and not specific times. Where instead of dedicating a specific time we set a certain time frame. This is app, being great for specific timed appointments, is limited to those who need customers to set a specific day. You have to set an appointment to an all day slot which can be confusing to the customers. Would be a great app for a hairstylist, nail salon, etc.

    This was the only software we found that did virtually everything we needed for online party booking at a truly amazing monthly price! Every time we had a question, the customer service team was very easy to work with.

    Simply book me had all of the features I was after. The free trial was so easy to use, I was keen to purchase, but wanted one feature, I submitted a request in the live chat and Rep helped me so promptly and easily. She explained how to alter the feature to my liking. Done.
    Great features, easy to use. Prompt support! Would recommend.

    All round, really good. Some of the features take a bit of fiddling around with, but the support service is good at helping and offers answers really easily and quickly.

    The calendar is really easier to use than it is with all the similar appointement scheduling softwares. It provides a clear and modern page for your customer.

    Cons

    It lakes many features for my personal buisness:
    _Not compatible with french summer hour
    _Online help not very friendly
    _No differences between new and old patients which is a big issue for medical supplies (appointements could be restricted to particular patients )
    _Cancellation for paid appointements is not automacally refunded by the customer
    _ No way to ask for paiements to clients when you give by yourself the appointement on simplybookme.

We are happy to hear that you like the look of the booking website, and I have to say that you have customized it very nicely! Regarding your comments then I will try to answer each one here: 1. Time change: It should always work correctly, if you book at 14:00 on Saturday for Monday and time changes on Sunday, the booking will stay at 14:00 for Monday. 2. Online help: We usually get great feedback on our Live Chat and I looked at your chat and could not see that she was unfriendly, please send me an e mail and let me know if otherwise. 3. You can solve this by creating a specific service which only members could book (old patients) and not new patients. 4. You are right that would be great to have the refund automatic, but since our clients are using so many different payment providers this has not been done yet. 5.     SimplyBook.me can be used as a personal or a team tracker. It provides a more wide feature and caters to more specific needs for scheduling. Unlike other appointment tracker, SimplyBook.me can track personal appointments such as salon appointment, exercise routines or doctor check up schedules. It caters to a more vast audience. I have been using this software for the office team and for myself. Since it is highly customizable, appointments can be specific. Bookings are also possible with this software which is an advantage.

    Cons

    There are multiple times where booking is difficult as time coincides with other bookings which was not tracked by the software. Also, as I enter more schedules and appointments for tracking, the slower it became.


    I hope these disadvantages can be looked upon for the next updates.
    Overall, the software is great and highly recommended.

    Timezone Confusions!

    I like it in theory, but we've found better results with traditional pen and paper. Personally, I'm above average when it comes to understanding technology, so to me, this site seems pretty easy to use. However I've found older folks who really struggle with online registration, especially compared to traditional pen & paper signup.

    Pros

    I like that I can mostly do what I want. The software doesn't exactly line up with my business model, but I have found enough ways modify my setup to get the results I need. However, I have found that traditional pen and paper results in better results in regards to scheduling.

    Cons

    The timezones are confusing. My company travels to locations in many different timezones for photoshoot appointments. We've found in some trips where the location is in a different timezone than our headquarters, clients will book with the wrong timezone. When we set up the appointment schedule, we have also found the timezones confusing because we always have to adjust in our heads the time. If we live in Central time and our clients/location are in Eastern Time, we shouldn't have to set up the Eastern Time Zone by using Central Time Zone as the base. When clients get reminders, they should get reminders in the proper timezone. To make it easier, we should have the option to turn timezones off. If we set up an open calendar from 3:00pm-9:00pm, it shouldn't matter what timezone we are in since both our people and the clients are experiencing the same time. There is never a time when it would matter what the timezones are.

    Time saving app

    I am sports volunteer, in my spare time outside of work I manage dragon boat training. For years 17 teams book boats for reoccuring training via a form which I would enter manually to our calendar along with any changes over 6 month training period. It was never accurate and took hours each week. Simplybook.me has saved my sanity and time so now I focus on coaching.

    Pros

    I use the reoccuring appointments for my teams to book training for the summer. I find the support at Simplybook.me incredibly responsive .

    It is a really good app so there isn't much to not like.

    I am using to set up class appointments for my school.

    Pros

    The versatility and the capability provided is the most comprehensive. I haven't seen an alternative that can cover all aspects of booking.
    I also like the ability to attach the payment schedule along with the booking. What would help a bit further if there is some connectivity with GroupOn

    Cons

    I am a technically adept, but even for me it was quite complicated to set up a simple class booking system. The software can greatly improve if the user experience is given an overhaul.
    There was also no easy way to use this with a simple mobile app
    And lastly, the pricing complexities seemed to be "a nickel-and-dime" approach, which is a bit frustrating. For example, getting charged for using a BOLD font, in this day and age, is a bit excessive, don't you think?
