SimplyBook.me is a cloud-based scheduling solution designed for service businesses in multiple industries. It provides a booking site so that users can accept online bookings, collect client feedback to optimize revenue and service performance and send email and SMS appointment reminders to both service providers and clients.

The tool allows users to send out promotions, set up recurring services, link service providers or select services and customize options for the booking site. Customization includes adding the booking system as an iFrame or adding a booking button to a website or Facebook page.

Clients can access the booking page from multiple devices, make bookings and can cancel bookings when required.

Service providers can synchronize their personal google or outlook calendars to their SimplyBook.me booking calendar. The solution provides booking widgets for Facebook, WordPress and other CMS systems. Pricing is based on a number of bookings and number of chosen custom features.

That clients can book themselves. That it keeps all of the client info in one convenient place. LIVE HELP is awesome

Cons

That clients can book themselves wherever THEY choose which may not be convenient for me. I¿ve always booked my own appointments so that I can stack people close together and with this they can book all over a day leaving gaps.

With regards to your comment then you could try to limit the opening hours, to get your bookings more packed and then just have a message asking clients to contact you if they want hours outside of that scope. That is a workaround..but up to you to decide:)

Cons

The free version has a small number of appointments per month for businesses but it's more than enough to get started as a new business.

Cons

The booking portal can be a little clunky and would benefit from more customisation. Users need to be able to determine the duration of their booking rather than booking in preset time slots.

It¿s easy to set up once you get started. The system is slick and easy on the eye. It has made a lot of the main issues with our club easier to manage, not go away but easier.

Cons

If your not very IT technical then trying to find out the basic info like how many bookings and a simple list of who like on something like Eventbrite then it¿s double hard.

I like it because it is easy to use for my team and on the other hand for our customers as well. The software is reliable and in case u need some help, there is the live chat, that is very responsive and helpful. In general, it is very easy to work with.

It saves me so much time ringing round students and clients to see when they want to come. Now, they self book.

Pros

I like most how easy it is to set up and use as I am not at all "Techi" if I can set it up anyone can. ! I use it daily.

Cons

I find it hard to change days booked out as non client days back to working days if I get a client that can only come on that day.

There you can adjust notifications according to service, service provider or a mix thereof. Possibility that clients book themselves. Connection to our google calendar. The ease with wich you can add a service.

Cons

Not possible to book for groups, as we use it for planning our guides for farm tours etc. People can book a tour for their group, and pay per head. We really miss this functionality.
Also we have different locations people can book (instead of performers, but we use the performer tool), and it is a lot of work to plan the opening hours per location/performer (we close most locations for 5 months in winter)
We cannot send a reminder more than 3 days before the appointment. For us 7 or even 14 days would be better.

With regards to the comments, then I would like to inform you that you can accept bookings for tours/groups with our Group Booking Custom Feature and accept payments as well for the whole group. If you however want each to pay for themselves then as a workaround they can choose "Pay later" for example or not receive payments online but instead send bank account details in confirmation email so that the clients will make bank transfer. Admin can then use approve bookings feature to approve them when transfer is received.

We also have Multiple Location custom feature, which enables you to create multiple service locations at different addresses, and connect them with different service providers (staff members).

Last but not least you can contact our Live Chat and ask them to add the functionality to send reminders with more than 3 days before the appointment.

I have been using it for the last two years as an on-line self-service appointment schedule for my customers. Very easy to set up and use this software. Technical support is quick to response and very helpful. With Simplybook great way to attract more customers

Cons

The prices and the short time for renewal are pretty expensive.
It's not really worth it for smaller companies like myself it's not a good thing if you want to earn money for every little software.

It seems lightweight and not overbearing with 'in your face' features. The pricing model is very fair and cost effective my for micro business. These are the benefits on which to grow, prosper and keep me as a customer.

**customer email template footer - Need to have a better set of choices for the fixed template footer.
-- being a local business, that booking troll page is not very relevant to my local customers; and no 'promotions' appear to be there.

Cons
