SutiExpense is a cloud-based expense management solution that enables organizations to track expenses, enforce spend policies, book online travel, allocate project expenses, manage approvals and capture expense receipts. The solution is built on an open platform architecture that allows companies to integrate it with Accounting Platforms, Credit Card providers and HR applications.

SutiExpense can be accessed on smartphones. Users can generate, submit, and approve expense reports through native apps for Apple iOS and Android. Receipts can be scanned, faxed, emailed and captured directly from the device’s camera.

SutiExpense lets users import the expense reports into existing accounting systems to avoid manual data entry. It also automates the fraud control by combining the solution with a rule engine approval workflow supported by spend controls. Services are offered on a per user per month basis. Support is available via email, phone and through an online portal.

    We were looking for a custom solution and Suti was able to meet that need. They were quick to respond and seem to always have a solution.

    Pros

    Ease of use. Suti was great to work with to meet our needs. Our end users love the multiple ways of getting receipts into the system.

    Cons

    I don't really have Cons, but if I had to come up with something it would be that the ADMIN section can be a little confusing. Could use more pop ups to explain what some of the settings actually control.

    Sending receipts directly from my email.
    Customer Service is easy to reach.
    Their manual is very straightforward.

    Cons

    Not every credit card is able to sync with the software. This is a work in progress.
    Sometimes, the Software doesn't recognize taxes the way it should. That could be a user issue.

    The expense package is very easy to implement and maintain. The users adapt quickly due to the ease of use and are very fond of the mobile app to capture picture receipts. The software is self-customizable and exports cleanly. Approval process is simplistic.

    Cons

    Some redundancies due to receipt image transfers. Many fields need to be corrected for non- perfect receipts. Also the use of credit card statement import should be considered as auto receipt attachment.

    Now all reports are centralized and done the same way. It has really made our processing more effective and faster.

    Pros

    Being able to reject only certain items.
    That the software can transfer information from the receipts to the report, although it is not always a 100% accurate, this feature saves a lot of time.

    Cons

    I find it a bit complicated to separate taxes.
    the exchange rate is not accurate and for multiple expenses, I have to update them one by one, it would be great to update it only once per report.

    The ability to have users submit expense reports and reduce the manual process of copying receipts and inputting the information twice

    Pros

    Ability to have expenses uploaded directly from phone app to application. OCR technology does not seem to recognize anything and we have to manually enter every time but that does not take a lot of time. Love the email function that allows you to email receipts directly to application.

    Cons

    OCR is not fully working. Still trying to get the PER DIEM rates from GSA fully implemented to allow users to automatically fill them in.

    Very convenient for submitting expense reports, and I get an email for each submission & approval that lets me know where it is in the workflow. Even with the flaws, I'm very happy with it!

    Pros

    I love the way I can use the mobile app to build my whole report, snapping photos of the receipts with my phone as I enter each one. MUCH quicker than our old process, which involved tape and a photocopier...

    Cons

    The mobile app, at least on Android, currently has a glitch where it crashes if I try to backdate an expense. They're working on it, but it's a little irritating to need to log on to the desktop app to fix the dates, rather than just submitting from my phone. I've never gotten the hang of emailing receipts in to attach because the mobile app is so much easier!

    No pressure sales and discount for non-profit orgs. Product met all of our needs, and has additional options available.

    Deployment was easy and support was phenomenal! Service has been very responsive to questions both via email and toll-free number.

    Cons

    While service is excellent, I would love to see a few more examples in the online manuals/help, including more detail.

    It is easy to quickly compose an expense report and move it through the approval process. The setup of expense categories is extremely user friendly.

    Cons

    Sometimes the set up or location of various items can be confusing. I am still having to export and manually manipulate data into a form I can use.

    The phone app is great. I like the ability to email receipts. Once everything is in place, it is very easy to upload into QuickBooks.

    Cons

    Credit cards are a bit of a challenge, particularly for transactions paid for in advance. Additionally, there are some challenges trying to change expense categories. Often transactions must be deleted and then re-entered.

    Easy to use, easy to add implement. Mobile app works well. Easy to get Direct deposit set up, integrate with QB online and add chart of accounts. Approval process is very clean and setting up hierarchy is easy as well. Receipt viewer works well.

    Cons

    Missing a few small features I would like. Projects codes on the front screen would be great since we do a lot of billable projects. Would like to be able to mark a report as billed easily.
    Receipt capture needs to be improved as it doesn't get much right. Quickbooks integration lacks ability to set the posting date in the system. Need to manually go in and change posting period in QB.

    I've been using Suti for a few months now with my company - I use it not only to do my own expense reports but am a delegate for the executive team.     Overall the software was very user friendly to bother users & admin. However, there are unexpected changes to the setting occasionally in which the Admin did not change. It could possibly be an update to the version, however, it disrupts normal usage. The admin has to go into the account and change the settings back.

    SUTI Is THE Answer to Expense Reporting and AP Management

    Support has been exemplary. Any small issues encountered during our implementation were resolved within 1 business day; and assistance was clear and concise. The Software was easy to roll out to our team; with most staff able to self teach given how intuitive the platform is. The generic training videos are also a great tool; and the virtual training we received was terrific in walking through all the specifics.

    Pros

    General ease of use; Intuitive nature of product (both Mobile and Web based); Amazing support; Automation of our Firms Expense reporting and Reimbursement work flow.

    Cons

    Image capture makes turns each receipt into an individual page; which can be cumbersome with 20+ expense line items. Ability to merge receipts into a single page for print out (or in our case billing) would be a huge bonus (let me know if I just missed that part of the tutorial :)).

    Very positive experience. In terms of functionality, this software is a big upgrade compared to the software that we were using previously.

    Pros

    We can code everything clearly and consistently, and we are able to review and reconcile credit card transactions a lot faster. This software has been very helpful to our Accounting Dept.
