Tallium is a cloud-based professional services automation (PSA) software solution. Key features include modules for project, knowledge, document and resource management.

Tallium’s goal is to facilitate knowledge-sharing, content management and communication. Its SmartMatchPro algorithm is designed to promote content related to users’ expertise and interests.

Tallium has a ranking feature, where users can see the level of team members’ experience. The system can highlight the right people for different jobs, based on users’ requirements.

In the system, team members ask questions, and they can find the people best qualified to answer those questions. And qualified team members will be notified when someone is asking a question they may be able to answer.

Tallium also includes a multimedia library with document previews, event registration and integrated messaging.

Tallium can either be licensed in perpetuity or priced per user per month. Its perpetual license option is priced per member and requires a minimum of 300 members.

The greatest benefit is to make the availability of knowledge available to users, breaking down the barriers of silos created naturally by the growth and development of multiple platforms focused on complementary processes and functions that are necessary in the business but which were never Designed for the purpose that Tallyfox covers.

Another great advantage is that Tallium's technology focus is in line with the current trend of integrated, responsive and cloud based solutions, eliminating the need for each company to count and manage its own infrastructure. The advantages of this type put Tallium in an outstanding position in the KM solutions market.

The customer service is incorporated into the solution and both for its ability to make available the knowledge of typical situations of self-service in support and assistance of its team of specialists who provide a passionate attention for excellence.

Pros

Its innocuous and agnostic functionality and its adaptability as an abc.

Its structure is simple, easy to understand and adaptable to established work environments.

The versatility of defining and evolving taxonomy structures offers operational autonomy to easily incorporate new areas of practice and knowledge.

This type of tools depends to a large extent on the willingness and ability to incorporate content easily and quickly. Tallyfox maintains functional consistency at any depth level with undisputed ease.

Cons

The lack of integration of popular calendars (Google, Apple, Outlook) to events.
It is necessary that the user can make integrations via API in self service mode.
It would be interesting to have audit tools that allow identifying movements in intentional or unintentional about the contents.
In tools based on or with components of social technology, it is very useful to have models of gamification that help to promote its use and to push the adoption until bringing them to a point of stability and not abandonment.
For versions in languages other than those established, enable tools that allow to adapt terms to the language, use and local customs.

Easier and quicker access to information in my company and also quicker way to map and find experts.

Pros

The contextual information; the fact that you are searching for some information and it automatically suggests additional interesting information for you.
I also like very much the Q&A system and the way it suggests experts that can help you find an answer to your question.

Cons

The fact that it requires a minimum number of users (around 100) for the platform to be meaningful and start providing value.

A great value for money tool which easily connects the business. Loads of functionality to organize information and knowledge, create calendars of events, groups and more. Becoming more and more customizable which is great and making it easier for the user to find content. The tagging system is simple and works well along with the smart match function which targets content to you rather than bulk displays. One key strength is the ability to ask a question about your business and crowdsource the best answers all with a trail. There are multiple content types you can post which could be simplified to help the user. The app is a web app and is currently lacking usability on devices but this is soon to change. Great privacy settings for all aspects of the platform. Overall very happy with the desktop version of the tool. In addition, the customer service is incredible, always happy to help, they are keen to build a relationship with you to create a tool that works

Of all the things that I could say about TallyFox, the most outstanding attribute of this company is the quality of the people and the service they provide, which is truly outstanding. For the last two years, we have been a member of the Water Network and have a sub-site, http://floridaearth.thewaternetwork.com, and couldn't be happier with the entire experience. One of the things that we have found incredibly beneficial is their willingness to treat their clients as advisors on how to make the software more efficient and relevant to client needs.

We use TallyFox Tallium to power The Water Network, and we are very impressed by the platform because Tallium has given us the features we need to increase user engagement on our knowledge network. What we especially like is the configurability of the platform, ease of sharing external content and creating it. The fact that user experience is maximised with their relevance score, which brings content and people of interest to our members, is our top feature pick. Would I recommend it? Yes!
