Best at tracking ALL media mentions

Customer service is top notch, and for tv monitoring, it is the best. Just wish they had more features, reporting and analytics.

Functionality

Pros:

Nothing beats TVEyes when it comes to capturing every single time your organization is mentioned on TV news. This can be very helpful, but also tends to flood your inbox with teases and other short mentions.

Cons:

Not a lot of features or analytics. Also not much there for anything other than TV.

Reasons for choosing TVEyes

Wanted to make sure we captured all TV mentions beyond just what was being posted on websites.

Good for finding broadcast coverage, but terrible editing tools are its downfall

3

The people at TVEyes try to be helpful, but the overall experience of using it as a daily tool is astoundingly aggravating.

Functionality

Pros:

TVEyes does a solid job of identifying and serving up broadcast media coverage based on easy-to-enter search terms in the dashboard.

Cons:

The single worst thing about TVEyes, and what will ultimately be its downfall unless it's corrected, is the absolutely atrocious editing tools that are built into the site. Cutting down a clip to its most usable form is an exercise in frustration and time wasting.

Reasons for choosing TVEyes

Pricing drove our decision to use TVEyes, but the negative experience of using it is why we left.
