No incentive was offered How above stated my experience is very positive and I still use it till this product should be available in the market, because I can easily create my interactive books in a blink of an eye, just reusing my custo settings. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Fliphtml5 have been my trusted companion since more than 13 year ago today. I started using it when it had another name and had a part in flash and other in HTML. What I liked at first use was the smoothness of page animation. I still love it today and I never change this software just for this feature. Said so, I can talk for hour about the whole feature I used such as Page Editor or Animation Editor which gave you the chance to create whatever you like. Once you could also add an animated character that simulated the explication of the text you added in the page via audio file. But I think the limit is still your fantasy because you can customize product to your brand also adding a clickable logo. You can save settings and reuse it in other products as well as you can do with TOC and animation which can export both. Well, I just stop here to invite you giving a try to this software. #### Cons The only thing I don't like at all is that I can create the UI of my products in a language at time using the PC based version, while you can make multilingual only in online editing projects. --- ### Great Option For an Affordable Price - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Stephanie A. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Non-Profit Organization Management - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: Used weekly for free trial - Reviewed: May 2025 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros It offers the same features as other software, with a more affordable price tag. #### Cons I can’t answer at this time as we are new users. I will update my review with accurate information with more use. #### Reasons for choosing FlipHTML5 Pricing and non profit discount was offered versus full price --- ### Stopped Working Once I Paid For A Subscription - Overall rating: 1/5 - Reviewer: Jordan M. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Marketing and Advertising - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: Used daily for less than 6 months - Reviewed: September 2020 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. No incentive was offered Horrible!!! #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 1/5 - Value for money: 1/5 - Customer support: 1/5 - Functionality: 1/5 #### Pros I liked the end product but have had so many issues it wasn't worth it at all. Go with a more expensive service, it will save you headaches in the long run when this product stops working for you as well. #### Cons I paid for a subscription and the second I did that I'm unable to use the product at all. I've been refreshing the website and trying to log on from different computers to no avail. Very poor product and customer service. Something like this I expect to sign up and not have any issues. I really wonder if I've just been ripped off by this company. I would reccommend going with flippingbook instead of fliphtml5. #### Reasons for choosing FlipHTML5 Price, which was a complete mistake. Thankfully I only signed up for 1 month so they only stole 35 USD from me. VERY HAPPY I didn't sign up for a year. I will be taking my business elsewhere. #### Vendor response Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, Jordan. We understand your dissatisfaction with our company and software in the past, and we apologize for that. We're thrilled, however, that we've been able to make improvements and now offer a new online version that should address the problems you experienced before. We truly appreciate you for giving us the opportunity to provide our services in the past, and are delighted to hear you have finally found a suitable software. I'm personally very happy with the capabilities and performance of FlipHTML5 – highly recommended! #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros FlipHTML5 is a fantastic tool for creating digital flip PDFs and clearly stands out from other similar software. The platform is user-friendly – you can get started right away without complicated instructions. What makes it even better is that FlipHTML5 truly offers more features and settings than other tools I have tried. The security options are also very convenient for protecting your content, and the integrated sales function makes it easy to sell directly. #### Cons I had a little problem with de payment. But the helpdesk fixed it as soon as possible. #### Reasons for switching to FlipHTML5 The price plan. When you want to put it behind a password, you had te choose for a higher plan. --- ### Incredible service and company - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Lauren S. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Entertainment - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: Used daily for free trial - Reviewed: October 2024 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. Incredible! Super responsive and lots of options. Easy to use. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros FlipHTML5 is a super easy to use and works great from my needs. They are also very responsive which is helpful as it was my first time using a flip book and I needed some troubleshooting. Plus, as a non-profit they were very charitable, something other companies out there were not willing to do! I'd use again anytime and highly recommend!! #### Cons No cons, I am happy with everything about the service. #### Reasons for choosing FlipHTML5 Cost and customer service was better with FlipHTML5 --- ### Extremely excited for a product that helps us show how amazing we are to the world! - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Tresa B. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Higher Education - Company size: 51-200 employees - Product usage: Used weekly for less than 6 months - Reviewed: October 2023 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. So far, I am just in the beginning stages of working with the program but we have been looking for something to support our vision for our departmental newsletter for a long time and we finally found it. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Customer support: 3/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros The most impactful features for me are the ease of use, the appearance of the Flipbook and the translation of the Flipbook across digital platforms without any loss of quality. #### Cons I liked least that customer service is a little hard to connect with and I think it could be hard for an absolute layperson to work with. #### Reasons for choosing FlipHTML5 So many reasons:Ease of useVisual impactCollaboration compatability --- ### FlipHTML5 is indeed a sold product - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Dinier Q. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Maritime - Company size: 11-50 employees - Product usage: Used weekly for more than 2 years - Reviewed: July 2020 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. I think the program is really good and I would definitely recommend it to other people. It would come with the disclaimer that they need to familiarize themselves with the program before expecting similar results to what a more advanced user may have done. But that applies to most softwares. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 4/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros It's been my experience that for as long as you are good at learning new software, and are not afraid to "break" things, you can play with FlipHTML5 until you are satisfied with the final result. It's not super intuitive but very customizable. I used the desktop version as well as the online one and the desktop version is by far better, more stable. Love the fact that you can add videos and live links to the PDF. #### Cons From time to time, I would close what I was working on, and when I open it again, the last set of changes are gone and did not save. That has happened quite a bit which it's frustrating.Like the TOC I have uploaded wasn't there anymore, nor the tabs etc. Also, and this might be more of a limitation of the technology, to make a small change and go live, it's a long process. I wish there was a way to save that section and have it automatically save online. #### Reasons for choosing FlipHTML5 Overall felt like it was a more robust program #### Reasons for switching to FlipHTML5 A vendor recommended FlipHTML5 over the other program --- ### Cool and user friendly way to display anything! - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Trine R. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Non-Profit Organization Management - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: Used daily for free trial - Reviewed: March 2024 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros As an non-profit NGO, Specialsport.dk is working to give children with disabilities acces to club-life. And using Flip HTML5 for showcasing our activities, makes the world of difference. Parents can open the online booklet and children will go through all the different possibilities again and again - back and forth. We can attach links, youtube filming, small texting and much more - it is really amazing how different from a 50 page long document! And the price is lower than anything else, we have seen on the market! #### Cons Nothing - more people needs to know about it #### Reasons for switching to FlipHTML5 I swithed because of the price and the quality --- ### FlipHTML Photography - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Eduardo F. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Professional Training & Coaching - Company size: 11-50 employees - Product usage: Used daily for free trial - Reviewed: January 2024 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Very intuitive, practical, and easy to work with it. #### Cons So far, there is nothing that can be negative. #### Reasons for choosing FlipHTML5 It seemed quite balanced between price and capacity. #### Vendor response Hi Eduardo! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a glowing 5-star review! Your kind words truly mean the world to us. If you require any additional help, please don't hesitate to contact me. I hope you have a wonderful day ahead. We have members who need access to members only content, but we don't have password protection on our website. We're using FlipHTML5 to create content focused microsites and providing direct links to our members and will be using the bookshelf to create one larger, central repository, so that they only need one link to get deeper content. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Ease of editing, branding and sharing. User interface is great and highly intuitive. #### Cons It would be great if you could still edit text that is already on the page once a document is uploaded and if you could add a font that isn't currently available. Our main brand font, Century Gothic, isn't one of the options. #### Reasons for choosing FlipHTML5 One of them seemed to be a more robust CMS solution, but it was roughly $25K, would have required a much more mindspace to get off the ground, and wouldn't have been ready to begin actual product development until 30-60 days after I wanted to launch my first e-magazine. So, lower cost, greater speed, and minimal mindspace. #### Reasons for switching to FlipHTML5 The user experience. The Flip PDF editing interface is fine, but the output is based on Flash, which won't be supported by Google Chrome after the Fall of 2020. As it stands, the document wouldn't show up on my computer when tested unless I enabled Flash and downloaded a new version. That barrier to entry would completely turn off my end users. --- ### FlipHTML5 ia a User-Friendly Product - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Rhonda L. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Publishing - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: Used monthly for more than 2 years - Reviewed: January 2025 - Review source details: This review was submitted organically. I originally came across two other flipping catalog builders online. The first one was very expensive. The second one was better and I started using their trial version. Many months passed because my client went quiet for a long time (months in fact). Then, suddenly they wanted to get everything done. I asked the other company a few questions and they didn't even respond. That's when I decided to use FlipHTML5 and from there I can say that the whole project is a resounding success. I know this sounds a bit good to be true but it is genuinely correct. I've bought things over the Internet before and was unhappy with some of the results, but FlipHTML5 was a very good choice for me. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Without reading a manual I was able to jump right in and start setting up my client's flipping catalog. From the word go everything worked flawlessly and intuitively. When I presented the final product to my client she was very impressed and happy with the results. There were a few changes and I needed to contact support to ask for a bit of help and advice. The support was world-class because I was helped via email on a frequent basis and I was able to improve my catalog and the end result was that my client and her colleague are extremely satisfied with the catalog. Her colleague, who is the company Sales Manager, informed me that he emailed a few inactive clients who had stopped using their services to view the catalog. The results were dramatic because four of them starting using his company again after viewing the catalog online. #### Cons There was an issue with a PDF document that I wanted to link to the catalog but I was able to put the file in Google Docs so that resolved the issue. There were no other surprises or hiccups. #### Reasons for choosing FlipHTML5 The website of FlipHTML5 made me decide to try them. And I think the name persuaded me that things should work on HTML pages which is very important for me as a website designer. Their price was competitive. Now I know I made the right choice. #### Reasons for switching to FlipHTML5 The company didn't answer my last questions. --- ### Great Stuff - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Gerry J. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Fine Art - Company size: 11-50 employees - Product usage: Used weekly for more than 2 years - Reviewed: April 2024 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. We have six distinct brands and this software allows me to create a unique template for each brand and display them on their own bookshelf. I have utilized both the desktop and the web version for upload and I have rarely encountered any issues that weren't quickly solved via a quick email to support. #### Cons The organization of the interface can be a little confusing for new users but overall I found it easy to navigate after reading over the user manual and playing around in the program a bit. --- ### I would certainly recommend Flip HTML5 to a friend or colleague - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Helena L. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Marketing and Advertising - Company size: Self-Employed - Product usage: Used daily for free trial - Reviewed: May 2023 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. I'm fine with the purchase but wish it was better. It is a C letter grade for me as a whole. Price if features worked as I need them would be fine but as it is my only gain has been it is faster than the software I was using before. A big plus is the Mac OS so I dont have to run virtual PC, but I cant help feel let down a little. Customer service though responding both times quickly only pissed me off with their lack of service. Telling me it will be fixed in upcoming version isn't service. How about saying it is a known issue or something and seeing if there is an alternative solution to my problem or a work around. Any kind of suggestion other than my bad, we fix later. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 3/5 - Functionality: 3/5 #### Pros #1 reason Mac OS support. Web tools ok too in a pinch to use. I like having the choice depending on the project. Software is easy to use and figure out. It is much faster to process files than the previous company we were using. We do 14 magazines a month and this was a big time saver. Platform stability has been solid too. No crashes makes my life better. #### Cons We purchased this software for a couple reasons and one of those was the ability to track data on their cloud of page clicks and so forth. That works, but we require a side bar ad for advertisers on the virtual magazine next to page one. It is a paid position that our advertising team sold and the customers fight over. This feature doesnt work. The ad regardless of size shows up a a tiny square in the bottom middle of the tool bar.......most times. One time it was giant and next to the cover.....same exact file. Customer service was responsive but useless. So we continue to upload to our own server with the janky frame system we have used for 10 years. For me to happy with this product I want the same control over our own ads as you have on the Google Ad Sense features. I dont know if I will renew after this year. I also was hoping the bookshelf would be useful and it is not. #### Reasons for switching to FlipHTML5 Mac OS, ability to have your own banner ads, free up space on our own server. --- ### Tons of features sealed the deal. - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Ray L. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Non-Profit Organization Management - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: Used weekly for free trial - Reviewed: February 2024 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. The interface, ease of use, expansive features, and price made me raise an eyebrow and put a huge smile on my face. I found exactly what I had been looking for. #### Cons While they give you a free version that you can test on, it has limited functionality. I wish they could let you test out any version for a limited time. --- ### I Love the Way My Audience Flips Over Fliphtml5! - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Sonya M. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Online Media - Company size: 2-10 employees - Product usage: Used other for more than 2 years - Reviewed: July 2020 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. I have digital youth sports magazine and my audience is children. My parents tell me I ve gotten the kids back into reading again all because of the page flipping sound. I’ve had to tell young readers,”ok stop flipping and read something!” #### Cons There hasn’t been very much that I didn’t like. #### Reasons for choosing FlipHTML5 It fit into my vision. There was nothing out there like that for youths. #### Reasons for switching to FlipHTML5 Kids found it boring --- ### Fast and wonderful way to share publications - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Dane A. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Publishing - Company size: 11-50 employees - Product usage: Used monthly for more than 2 years - Reviewed: July 2020 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by us to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. It's a crucial piece of software for those in the publishing industry. It's often difficult to share work when many clients either don't have a PDF reader, or don't know how to use it, preventing them from seeing our layouts as intended. With fliphtml5, we don't have to worry that our PDF attachment is too big to email, as we can simply send the client a link. We don't have to hope that our clients have PDF readers installed, as most browsers can view the links without the need of additional software. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros Ease of use - simply being able to upload our PDFs into a format that accounts for a front page and interactive page-turning is absolutely necessary for a traditional magazine attempting to navigate a more digital world. #### Cons We believe that by default, if a business were to use this software, their uploads should be automatically protected and secured. However, even with a paid subscription, it seems like we have to pay more in order to prevent Google from indexing our files. We are happy that the ability is there but feel it should be included in at least the very basic plan. --- ### Top Cool well so cool - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Amélie B. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Accounting - Company size: 11-50 employees - Product usage: Used daily for free trial - Reviewed: March 2024 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Everything it's perfect, I like using it, #### Cons The publicities, and that it's so easy to use --- ### Easy to use product - Overall rating: 5/5 - Reviewer: Angela B. - Verified reviewer: Yes - Industry: Education Management - Company size: 201-500 employees - Product usage: Used weekly for less than 6 months - Reviewed: January 2024 - Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 4/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Very easy to convert my pdf to a flipbook.
