Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • The Squarespace is a fantastic platform to watch hiqh quality documantaries, films and educational content. The varaiety of the content is high and most of it is really top quality.
  • I am impressed with how Squarespace makes it so easy for me to build a website instantly with ready-made templates. I am also impressed with its customisability.
  • Squarespace offers clean UI designs allowing you to make modern and attractive site. Making real time adjustments to pages is super straightforward and useful.
  • Cons

  • Sometimes the squares can be difficult to move around and can change the entire look and layout of the landing page if accidentally moved in the wrong way.
  • It can also be bugging at time which was annoying, it also sometimes made my website look messy and unprofessional as it sometimes glitched.
  • From a mobile performance perspective, SquareSpace is the worst.

  • Pros

  • It is very easy to use and it has numerous templates which are really nice visually. It is good that they vary according to the industry that one is looking to create a website for.
  • What I like most about Wix is that the cost/benefit is fantastic. Very inexpensive website builder, that can...if done properly build beautiful websites.
  • We have had amazing feed back about our website and other companies coming and asking what software we used because they loved it so much.
  • Cons

  • The main issue I have with Wix is the price when compared to other Web hosts out there. The contract also auto renews without warning, which is very frustrating.
  • I hate that you can only really edit your website on a laptop or desktop computer. Not being able to edit on my tablet is limiting and sadly, it may end up being a deal breaker.
  • I was a little disappointed with the limitations of the website probably because as a coder you expect a lot more from a drag and drop website.
