Integrates easily with a wide range of databases, and support for others can be added pretty easily. I've used DbVisualizer with everything from Presto to SQLite over the years and it just works.

Tabs wont be opened in seperate tab unless we select that option with a right click and also if connection fails it doesn' give much details.

Quick UI based representation of table relationships. Great visualizations to reverse engineer schema.

A bit difficult is the use of the Java Connectors. Some do not give all possibilities of the vendors ODBC driver.

It has many of the features that I need and would gain by using the other tools.

All my settings are now and then lost at a customer installation. Properly due to a change in the server setting, but anyway annoying.

DbVisualizer was a game changer for us when we were evaluating expensive products to do data collection. It provided as with cost effective options to collect large amount of data effortlessly.

I love it's ease of use connecting, navigating and querying. The query builder feature is a great way to start on complex joins without having to type a lot.

The integration with different databases are easy. I used this tool to connect toVertica, MariaDB,  and SQL.

The ability to connect to a database-independent of platform from a single tool is the biggest reason for my use of DbVisualizer.

I use this toll with everything from H2 embedded databses to Oracle production servers and the thing I like most is how I'm given the best support for all of these databaseses/vendors.

DbVisualizer is a great product for the money.

The only thing I have noticed is that it may be too high-consuming resources for older computers. Also when I run it in Linux the app will crash every once in a while.

Complete set of features for metadata exploration. Easy to organize and categorize connections.

The SQL error message is not clear as to which line did the error occur.

Once I used the macro abilities for ETL type of work and found that to be easier than expected. Overall, a solid, worthwhile tool.

DB visualizer is easy to use and easy to implement. The ability to output data and auto-schedule queries is great for increasing productivity.

Sometimes queries are very difficult to stop and I have to go to AWS to check if they are still running and / or manually kill them.

DB Visualizer is very easy to use. It's great that you can save your queries and even if the software is closed and you had forgotten to save the query, it will remember it when the software loads.

The functionality, at least of the Pro version, is absolutely fantastic for me as Java developer mainly for backends and data persistency layers.

I love to be able to open multiple tabs, to save my database commands by functionality, and the ability to view database tables and columns.

My favorite three things in DbVisualizer are 1 variable replacement and 2 inline export functionality. The time I save exporting my results as a CSV as the query is running is super helpful.

Extremely useful with Salesforce (assuming availability of an appropriate JDBC driver). Easy to discover schema, save schema, duplicate databases for multiple environments.

Lightweight relational database, works on many platforms and has gain support from popularity in community. The toolkit for developing is great and easy to understand the concept.

This is definitely a great option when we are working on smaller projects that require and embedded database rather than the whole database setup.

Integration to mobile is a nicer experience compare to other db engine. The speed and datasize is good for mobile as well.

We are using SQLite for java and android application. SQLite is use for small and mid level organization as well because its cost affordable for any one.

You can either spin a local instance up or have it run in-memory to speed up your tests. The fact that it's usage is so ubiquitous, finding help or answers online isn't an issue at all.

It can be used in many programming languages. The command line is easy to use.

As soon as you have your desired config set up, you can transfer it with ease to most other projects and it just works. We use SQLite for testing purposes as it speeds up the entire process.

It's in the name, it's very light and easy to run, but what I like most is the interface, it's simple and doesn't need a learning curve.

SQLite works great for our specific use case as we prefer performance over HA / concurrency.

I was a part of team developing micro-services in python, and we used SQL Lite to store persistent information on each microservice. It is a great option because the setup it's really simple.

SQLite does not have support for multi-client concurrency access and can't be used in applications that need this. Validation of data to input fields is limited.

SQLite is best-known for its near-universal availability in many operating systems and programming languages, but this comes at a certain cost.

No other features are available: No native stored procedure. So internal procedure are impossible.

Hard programming for multi-user. I have to create my own system to avoid database crash when more than one computer is assessing the database.

The downside of sqlite is that it can't handle large projects and it's not trivial to use projects that use network.

It has great integrated features that are compatible with multiple languages. Ease of access and connection to the SQLite database are a big plus when working with data.

A very good thing about this software is community support.
